Niagara: Behind The Falls, Skylon Tower Ticket & Tesla Audio Tour

Had some trouble redeeming voucher but once we got inside it all worked out ok. Didn't understand you had to turn in voucher at each venue. Didn't do the stratosphere because we stayed at 39th Floor of Hyatt and couldn't have had a better view! Overall, was a great experience tho.

I was not able to open the voucher link from the email that was sent so the venue would not allow us to go on the tour and when I res he’d out to the company to express my problem they would not refund me my money I would not recommend using this service

Our family toured Niagara Falls with Vox City Tours. As first-time visitors, we were disappointed by the lack of on-site guidance, leaving us confused about where to redeem our tickets and access attractions. Thankfully, we met Ashton from Sightseeing Tours, who went above and beyond. He patiently listened, apologized for our experience, helped resolve our Skylon Tower tickets, and personally guided us toward Journey Behind the Falls. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine commitment to customer service made a tremendous difference. I hope Vox City improves its customer support. Special thanks to Ashton and the Sightseeing team for turning a frustrating situation into a memorable experience.

When you booked only take in consideration that everything is digital....keep your voucher because you have to redeem and you are in your own pace. So far we had a great time ..I really rec this own pace tour.

The Falls were beautiful and breathtaking! I would recommend this to anyone. I only gave it 3 stars because I learned upon arrival that you are recommended to select an arrival slot, which is only available on Niagara Parks website. Because of this, we had to find another time-filler for 2 hours. Otherwise, it was great!

Very cool to see rapids at that level… you do not realize the force until you are right upside of it

We attempted to use the this reservation at Skylon Tower but we were not provided the PDF needed to complete the transaction once there. So we were forced to purchase tickets again despite having paid through Viator. We would like to be reimbursed for the amount of the Skylon Tower part. We paid an additional $90 dollars, essentially paying twice for the same experience. We were able to use the Journey behind the falls portion but again had issues getting the actual tickets at the desk. It took them some time to provide them. Also, didn’t complete the Tesla audio tour, no one knew how to help us use it. We didn’t get a chance to really investigate. Overall, we would not use this service again and would instead simply purchase the tickets directly at the location. It cost us more money to go through Viator. Jared Farris

Tickets for Skylon could not be read by Skylon. Unable to access ride. Repeated calls to customer service went unanswered, no response to emails until we had left Canada and it was to late to return.

This is borderline a scam or too complicated to use. Once you “receive” your tix you’ll have to reach out again for voucher for the actually exhibit to process and it’s all bots/unresponsive to work with. I didn’t even get my full refund after not even being able to use what I purchased and I’m beyond pissed tbh.

I and my three friends visited Skylon Tower on 18th July 2026. My booking reference 14245910993. The e-voucher you sent for Skylon Tour could not be redeemed as it cannot be downloaded with repeated error messages. We were not allowed to join the tour.When called 1-636 367 3082 Vox City for help the response was to call on monday 20th. The result we missed skylon tower leg and Tesla audio tour for which we paid. We travelled all the way from Port Perry ,Ontario for this tour. For this lapse on your part you must refund the monies charged.

There is no Tesla audio tour, there is a gap between Viator and the on-site ticket office, somehow it is not easy to exchange the tickets, they need to call management to resolve this issue.

The vouchers were not accepted by the activity centers. I followed all the instructions to the t, chatted with the service center online because the phone number would hang up on me. Wasted two hours of my day with them to finally ask for a refund and pay for the activities on the spot. Other people around me had used Viator/vox and were having the same issues. Now the struggle begins with the refund.

Do not book through viator. Vouchers didn't work and were expired till customer service review the problem then offered 20$ refund on 130$ of tickets

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS TOUR THROUGH VIATOR. The vouchers they send you DO NOT work at the Skylon Tower. I had to buy tickets the desk on top of what I already paid. Viator would not refund me the extra $ 238 for 14 tickets even though I sent them a copy of my receipt. READ THE REVIEWS, I am not the only customer this has happened to and the people at the Skylon Tower says this is happening often.

Wonderful! This tour is must do. You don't the power of the falls until stand beneath them. Don't waste time going to the tunnels, spend your on the landing.

Tickets didn’t work for the skyline tower. Had to call and get tickets resent. Took two hours to get the tickets, never use again

Did not get the passes for skylon, waited for hours without access. Unable to contact help centre and no responses

Vox City did not send all of the QR codes needed to turn in for each part of the experience. Only able to do one of the three purchased activities.

Frustrating due to voucher provided not being able to be redeemed at the tour desk. One tour was accessed after communication with Viator, the audio app took about 1hour to find and eventually download. For the second tour a refund was requested and granted and we purchased directly at the tour desk with great ease. Unfortunately I would avoid a third party booking at this time. The tours were great not the redemption process of tickets.

The skylon ticket did not work. Was not accepted at the group ticketing desk. The behind the falls tour was nice

The beyond the falls was amazing. We were supposed to get the Skylon tower tickets but they did not include them.

You are going to wait in lines for at least an hour and then beyond the falls is disappointing. And you have to wait in lines to get back up. Not worth it. You can see everything you need to see from the top

Behind the Falls was a waste of money. Your wait on line to get in and out was the longest part of the experience. There is a one observation deck which shows only the side of the Falls and then there are 2 tunnels which leads to falling water that is blocked at a certain point, and that's it! I spent over a hundered for my family (3) for about a 15 min tour which was limited in sightseeing. The Skylon tower was good. It takes you over 500 feet above the Falls not 775 as the operator of the elevator expressed to us. It gives a good view of the Falls and its less money (under $70 for 3 people) I like this experience compared to the Behind the Falls.

“Behind the Falls” - the experience was less than impressive… you walk through an underground tunnel to reach a viewpoint where you approach the wall of water falling in front of you (with a safety fence between of course). The water is at least 10’ away but you feel the spray. It kind of rumbles in the tunnel! I guess I had in mind walking behind the wall of water…. Not really. The best part was standing on the observation deck & looking up next to Horseshoe Falls, which was genuinely SO impressive. We waited quite a while in line for the chance to get on the elevators down to the tunnels. It was a unique experience, something to do once. If it was just the tunnels to the viewpoint under the falls, I wouldn’t recommend it; but the view from beside the falls makes it more worthwhile. The Skylon Tower is unique, I would recommend doing it in the evening as darkness is approaching. Then you can see all the views with the lights up as well. They light the falls at 9:30, and there are fireworks at 10:00. The surrounding city is beautiful at night. If you go before dark, try looking north across Lake Ontario to see if you can find the city of Toronto on the horizon! We did & could hardly believe we could make out skyscrapers and even the CN Tower! Very cool!!!

You get what you pay for. Had significant difficulty with using VoxCity app. Wouldn't allow me to register so I couldn't access the download for the audio tour at all. Had a lot of difficulty with getting the correct voucher for the other attractions. The family in line before us had same challenges. Thankfully the staff at the Skylon Tower was very helpful. The Journey Behind the Falls was a very short experience. Very tight quarters with a lot of people. Thankfully, most humans are good, and we worked together to make the most of it

This was ok. We were confused about this we thought someone was going to meet up to guide us around but it's a self paced guide.

Systems do not co mingle. Took 30 minutes to get tickets The vox system does not work directly with the tower

The app I needed to download in order to access the the Tesla audio never worked for me, so it was a disappointment not to have it on the tour. We still enjoyed Journey Behind the Falls and the Skylon Towers

Incredible experience! It’s a must see in Niagara Falls. The views are amazing from there. Everything is organized and the waiting line is reasonable.

This is really a cool experience and we are so happy that we did it! It really gives you an idea of just how powerful the water really is!

Difficult to redeem and staff at the falls could not help. The audio tour never did work in English.

It was breathtaking to see the waterfalls. I would say though that it might be good to have a person watching the crowds. People just push each other around trying to get pictures and there was one young woman pushing a wheelchair and people were oblivious to letting her move through. I know it's the guests, but perhaps a few kind reminders to people. Other than that we loved it

It was difficult to figure out how to get the tickets. The QR code was not what the operators at the attractions needed so we had to download the PDF of the tickets which took a bit of time to figure out. The attractions were great it was the user friendliness of the tickets and not being able to figure out how to get the audio tour that were the biggest issues.

The Falls were fantastic!! I wish we would have known that the three elements of this excursion are in three different locations. When we went to the Falls, they did not have the headphones…you have to go to a completely different location. In addition, make sure that you visit the Skylon Tower earlier in the day. We wanted to see the skyline lite up so we went at 6pm….all we saw was fog. The ticket was useless because the fog was so thick you could not see a thing.

Before you go, make sure you figure out how to redeem the voucher. Got to the tower, and called Viator for instructions. Never called back. Luckily, a staff member at the tower figured it out. Stressful.

Great history and great sights at the falls ……. You could feel and hear the water cascading over the falls !! It is definitely a sight you gotta see to believe

You are going to get wet, but the views are really cool. We were there April 3rd and there was still a giant iceberg in front of one of the tunnels, but that was really cool to see as well.

Be careful when booking anything in Niagara Falls. Viator presents a package that has all of the descriptions for excursions the same as or similar to the original purveyor but they are not. We were excited to check out the Tesla Power Plant and yes it comes with self guided audio tour but it is a tour of the grounds outside of the building and does not allow entrance into the building. Very misleading and in the end quite disappointing. Lately I find booking directly with a hotel or tour operator far more beneficial and economical than booking with a third party.

We had an amazing experience from start to finish. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and seeing the falls up close was something our whole family will never forget. Even with the cold weather, everything was well worth it—the mist, the power of the water, and the overall atmosphere made it feel unreal.

The package was inclusive of Skylon Tower, Behind the fall & Tesla Audio tour. Behind the fall experience in winter is useless as the 02 windows are actually completely frozen, you cannot see anything. Also, Tesla Audio tour is quite misleading as we went with the impression that we would access the Nicola Tesla power plant next to the falls, which is not the case.

Once we became properly informed/found location of the Journey Behind The Falls tour, the experience was great from there. This is a great one for those who want to get more up close & personal to the Canadian Niagara Falls than you can just walking by the regular side rails, and also don’t want to necessarily get completely drenched on the boats that take you right into the mist (no boats involved here, it’s all walking and you have a good amount of control regarding how close you get to that mist). I only removed a star due to one crucial aspect of this experience which was the communication on how to arrive to this tour. Our voucher instructions gave us the impression (by explicitly stating) to meet at the Skylon Tower in order to take the Journey Behind The Falls Tour. Now obviously the actual falls & the tower are 2 different locations, but we purchased a package deal (appreciate the reasonable price for the 4 of us also) that included these multiple tours, and based on the instructions we believed we had to meet an official tour guide at Skylon Tower, potentially in a group (because a time slot was chosen upon purchasing tickets) and travel with them to the falls leg of the tour. Between the mobile app and email links I tried to navigate, things got extra confusing, as the links just took you in circles, literally. While I contacted support through the app (which detours you to use whatsapp) for help, and they technically responded, this proved to be of zero help ultimately as their answer to our main question turned out to be incorrect (stating 5pm was the latest time to take tour that day, when latest option was actually 7:30pm. The only reason this was all able to work out well was the fact we were able to take the tour closer to 6pm). We spent a significant amount of time of that day wandering/waiting/asking employees around the tower to try to get information about tour. Would’ve been such a stress & time saver if we had just understood from start that we walk/find a way to the falls ourselves! Shout out to Vicki at the JBTF counter (in Table Rock building) for answering all my questions I had about the tour and the special needs members of my family! Also thankful there was such flexibility about changing our tickets for tour to next day. At first we thought this was only possible option to not lose our purchase because it was past 5pm. Once we learned the tours ran later, they happily switched our ticket date back to original date.

The experience with the events was wonderful. The experience with this company was absolutely terrible. They say to reach out via the chat- I received no response for 2 days. Then moved to the WhatsApp like it says and it took hours to get a response. We walked around for 2 hours trying to figure out where to redeem and use the vouchers for our activities. I’ll never use this app again for purchasing tickets as the customer service was terrible. Traveling with a family can be expensive so finding these places to support and get your tickets a bit cheaper are always nice but not at the expense of wasting your time.

$30 to walk through a tunnel dressed in a plastic cape… what ? You and hundreds of other people who also paid $30 each to walk behind the Falls, really it’s not worth it. There are two areas in the tunnels that you get to see the water. Nothing special just water pouring past the open portal.

You can feel the power! It can't be explained. It is a feeling which will be different for everyone! For me it was the understanding of the shear power of the river. It made me realize my mortality and insignificance.
