Niagara-on-the-lake Small Group Wine Tour With Picnic Lunch

Our trip with Chris was a blast. He was fun and gave us great facts and tips. We went to three different wineries and all were very tasty and enjoyable! Definitely recommend!

We had a great tour with CTG Canada and booking it through Viator was great!. They were in contact regularly to remind us and ask us questions pertaining to our tour. Chris our driver was great, very knowledgeable about the area and the wineries. He was in touch prior to pick up letting us know he was on the way. I would highly recommend both him a,d the tour company and using Viator for any bookings!

Chris was our tour guide, and we had a fantastic experience! We learned so much about the region and the wines while enjoying several excellent tastings. Our tour with Adrienne was fantastic. She took us on a personal tour through Niagara on the Lake and on to three outstanding wineries. This tour included a picnic lunch stop along the Niagara River. Everything was perfect. We never felt rushed at anytime throughout this experience. Bottom line, a fantastic day. Thank you Adrienne for such an awesome day!!!

Christopher led us in a merry tour of Niagara on the Lake and it's excellent wineries. A fresh new mini van and just the four of us meant we had plenty of attention. The picnic lunch was substational and the three wineries visited were all fine establishement. Quick a few wines purchases and one converted icewine lover. Thanks Christopher for a great tour. Super day at the wineries with Chris. Knowledgeable, funny and efficient, a perfect guide for that day. Lots of stories, lots of laughs and lots of good wines. We were lucky to have him all to oyrselves, a VIP tour very much appreciated. Strongly recommend!

I was lucky to have Chris as a driver, who is actually a great local tour guide. I was introduced to the local exquisite areas, neighborhood and culture. Time and coordination were perfect, so no rush, and the 3 wineries were something else! Highly recommend

We loved the first winery we visited. The wine was great. The second we would rate good. Tomas our wine host for tastings was very informative. The last winery just wanted to get us through. It was ok. The picnic lunch was ok. Jerry the driver was good. We wished he talked to us more about the wineries.

The tour guide was great. He was knowledgeable and beautiful views. Very disappointed in the wineries. I understood prior to booking, I wouldn’t have an option on what wineries we would go to, but only one out three had good wine. There are so many options, that better wineries could have been chosen.

Our tour guide, Joe made this wine tasting tour extra special. His knowledge of the local area coupled with his sense of humor and his generosity will keep us coming back to learn more.

Dan was a great guide and took care of our every need! We had a wonderful day visiting 3 different estates and sampled a selection of wines at each. We even stopped off for a lovely picnic at the riverside as well. He is very knowledgable of the wine region and sights to see in Niagara. Highly recommended. Thanks Dan!

The day trip was the perfect getaway for my husband and I. We booked during the week when I was off and it ended up we were the only two on the trip. Dan was a friendly and great driver and told us a little history of each of the wineries. He even brought us to a special park for lunch! We had a lovely time and Dan the man was great! I would highly recommend the tour.

Tom was our driver. He was knowledgeable and friendly. It turned out it was just my husband and I so it was very nice.

We had a wonderful day traveling around Niagara on the Lake wineries with Chris at the helm. He was nice, knowledgeable, and got us around quickly. We also enjoyed a great lunch. Would definitely recommend!

The problem was we didn’t have a choice of the vineyards wines to chose from to taste. We drink cabs not sweet or whites! Were not offered a cab so we bought no wines. Seems like a missed business opportunity for the vineyard

Our guide Chris was an excellent tour guide, he made us feel comfortable and important. He told us the history of wine making. He made us feel like we had known each other for a long time. We love the experience and will cherish it for the rest of our life.

My husband and I had a wonderful time on our wine tour. Our driver Rick was a gracious host and a wonderful man. He was very knowledgeable about the area. We’re definitely looking forward to doing it again

Our experience started at Konzelmann Winery which was absolutely amazing! Donna , our sommelier, was very engaging and fun to listen to plus the wines were very good! Our second winery stop was Lakeview Cellars. The staff was not very engaging and basically just served us a flight of wine samples with little to no explanation of them. We then went to lunch at Bricks and Brew. Lunch was good but could have been shorter to enjoy more time at the wineries. Our last stop was at Between the Lines Winery. Tracy was very friendly. Our tour guide, Chris came across very condescending and belligerent at times. We were chastised for looking at our phones. Our coats were put on the floor from the seat we laid them on. Although he was sarcastic at times, he did provide some good information and was knowledgeable about the region.

Chris was a fantastic, knowledgeable tour guide. Lunch location should have been more reflective of the tour we were on and in the city surrounded by parking lots.

We liked the tour, especially the first stop. That private vinery was wonderful. The gentlemen know what is doing. The win was delicious. The only thing is that we would love to visit an installation, where the wine is made, who it is working etc.

We had Mitch as our tour guide and he was amazing!! Very knowledgeable about the area, giving us lots of bonus info. A fantastic photographer, capturing some very cute moments for my sister and I. All the wineries we went to were good and had very knowledgeable staff. I would highly recommend this tour!

What a fantastic day we had with Chris, complete VIP experience, local knowledge of the wineries, the area and insight into the history of wineries in the Niagara region. We had the price large of being the only people on his tour and he made us feel very special. We have some wine tours in Italy, Sonoma and now Niagara, this was a surprisingly refreshing experience and could not recommend Chris and this wine tour to anyone visiting the Niagara region. Don’t hesitate, just book it.

Gerry was a great tour guide. Loved the scenery and spent ample time on each winery we visited. Despite the cloudy weather we enjoyed every winery visit and wine tasting. The lunch prepared was a perfect intermission between the winery tours. My friend and I had a great time. Cheers!

We had Jerry and he was great! Went above and beyond to fulfill all our needs. Luckily I saw a previous review that shared we do not actually visit Niagara on the lake, so I was able to change my expectations. Would be nice if this tour was renamed as to not be deceiving. Lunch was amazing, but not a picnic lunch, it’s at a beautiful restaurant in Niagara Falls.

The countryside and the wine were lovely. However, our tour guide was not ideal. He talked over the employee trying to give the tasting at the first winery, pushed the wine at the second winery (where he was friends with the owners) and said we wouldn’t want to buy anything from the third winery, though he later admitted he had never actually tasted their wines (several of us ended up buying bottles there- it was quite good). Guests should be allowed to enjoy the wine and form their own opinions.

Jerry, our tour guide was excellent! It was the tour that was misleading. We thought that we would get to see some of Niagara on the Lake; however, we didn't. The name of the tour is misleading. The "picnic lunch" was being dropped off at a restaurant to eat where after preordering the day prior, we had to reorder and wait for our lunch and I also had to give the waitress my food allergies again. I had already made them known when booking the tour and then again 24 hours prior. The food was not that great- burgers were extremely dry. The 2nd winery was great though. Jerry, the tour guide was the best part of it! Just very disappointed that we didn't get to see Niagara on the Lake since that's why we booked the tour in the first place.

Chris was an excellent tour guide! Personable, intelligent, and went above and beyond. Not only did we learn a lot on the wine tour and enjoyed ourselves, but Chris also stopped at side stores and tourist spots because we were the only 2 on the tour for the day! Highly recommend!!

We gad a great time, the driver/tour guide (Adrienne) was amazing and so much fun. We went to Lakeview winery first and that was great and very informative but it was by for the best of the other wineries we visited that day so we weren't as impressed with the others. Still all in all a great girls trip!

Johnny was a tiriffic guide. I highly recommend this tour. If you can book Johnny go for it you won't be disappointed.

We had a great time and I really appreciate that the company did not cancel our tour because there were only myself and my friend that booked for that day! Our guide, Jerry, was great and very nice. He spent extra time giving us a history of Niagra-on-the-Lake and was very knowledgeable about the region. I would recommend this trip, especially if you are doing a girls trip!

It was great to get out to see Niagara Falls and our driver, Mitch, was very nice, really showed us around the area. Most of the wineries were just mediocre though. Between the Lines and Riverview were good, but the other two were just meh. We didn’t get to have a picnic lunch, instead we went to restaurant back in Niagara Falls. The food was good and the wine there was better than the wineries we went to. Another downside is that we didn’t get to spend time in Niagara-On-The-Lake, which is a different town/area. The driver felt that was a big part missing from it itinerary so he did take the time to drive us through there. All in all it was a good day though.

My wife and I booked this tour for a short trip to NOTL for our anniversary. We decided to book the tour on a Friday instead of over the busy weekend. We were fortunate enough to be the only two people on the tour. This gave us the opportunity to interact directly with our tour guide, Rick, and the wonderful staff at the wineries we visited. We learned more than we could ever remember and had a fantastic time. Rick was a tremendous guide and took us to some great smaller wineries. We would certainly recommend this tour to other travelers looking for a way to experience a small variety of wineries without driving.

We had a a lovely afternoon visiting the local wineries. Chris was a gracious and knowledgeable host. We learned a lot about wine! He took us to a small private winery, Perridiso Winery were the owner, Joe, shared his expertise and lovely home. Chris made sure that all of our needs were taken care of. He even graciously had Joe sign our bottle of wine!! It is all in the details! I highly recommend this experience and make sure to request Chris!
