Your first stop will be a view of the magnificent Niagara Falls. Where every year millions of visitors stand close to the thundering water rushing over the brink of the Horseshoe Falls! Not only is Table Rock right at the Falls itself, but there's plenty to do once you get there. You will be treated with an up-close view of the Horseshoe Falls and the American Falls from the Table Rock welcoming center for the best selfies and family pictures.
Journey Behind the Falls is a year-round attraction that offers an unique view of the Falls from below and behind. Visitors descend 150 ft. by elevator, where a short tunnel (150 ft.) gives access to two outdoor observation decks and two portals located directly behind the Falls. At Journey Behind the Falls, you`ll experience the awesome spectacle of one-fifth of the world’s fresh water crashing down to the basin below. During summer daylight hours, over 2,800 cubic meters of water thunders over the brink every second, travelling 65 kilometers per hour! Your Journey Behind the Falls visit will take 30 to 45 minutes and in the spring and summer months, you`ll receive a free souvenir biodegradable rain poncho as protection from the mist of the Falls. Elevators descend 150 feet through bedrock to tunnels that lead and to the Cataract Portal and the Great Falls Portal which is one third of the way behind the massive sheet of water. Then you walk on to the Upper and Lower Observation Decks at the very foot of the Falls. Posters of information are a great resource of information about the history and evolution of the hallways you walk through. Journey Behind the Falls is an iconic Niagara Falls experience, make sure you take a waterproof camera. (tickets available to purchase)
The intricate designs on the face of the Floral Clock are created with up to 16,000 carpet bedding plants and are changed twice each year. The planted face of the Floral Clock is maintained by Niagara Parks horticulture staff, while the mechanism inside is kept in working order by Ontario Hydro.
Niagara-on-the-Lake’s Heritage District offers beautiful shopping, where our visitors are often found strolling. Revisit the glamour of the 1920’s and 30’s and find your perfect hat at Beau Chapeau. Canada’s oldest year-round holiday emporium.
Scenic picture stop at Whirlpool Aerocar. The Whirlpool Aero car was designed by a Spanish engineer, Leonardo Torres Quevedo and has been in operation since 1916. The cable car is suspended from six sturdy cables and offers a wonderful view of the Niagara Whirlpool which is formed at the end of the rapids where the gorge turns abruptly counterclockwise and the river escapes through the narrowest channel in the gorge. High above the racing Niagara River, you'll be transported through the air in an antique cable car. Far below, the torrent of water abruptly changes direction and creates one of the world’s most mesmerizing natural phenomenon – the Niagara Whirlpool. Sometimes frightening and always unforgettable!
The Sir Adam Beck I Generating Station (GS) has provided clean, renewable electricity to Ontario for nearly 100 years. When it was opened by Sir Adam Beck on Dec. 28, 1921, the Queenston-Chippawa Development (as it was known between 1922 and 1950) was the largest hydroelectric power station in the world. At the peak of construction more than 10,000 people worked on the project.

Had an amazing time on the Niagara Falls tour from Toronto! The boat ride was incredible, and getting to experience Journey Behind the Falls was definitely a highlight. The views were absolutely beautiful, and the lunch was great too. Everything was well organized, and the whole day was fun and memorable. Definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Niagara Falls!
We booked direct with Zoom. Easy booking and they kept us updated with reminders and accurate details about pick up location etc. We were picked up on time by Johnny, he was our driver and guide for the day. And what a great guy. He was very informative, chatty, funny, friendly, welcoming and a wealth of knowledge. He was a genuinely good guy who clearly enjoyed his job. The tour itself was fantastic, we did it on a Sunday morning so traffic was quiet and queues were short as we arrived early. We were lucky enough to have 30C weather and pure sunshine so we dried off after the boat trip pretty quick. YOU WILL GET WET even with the ponchos. A day we will never forget, The Falls, The Boat Trip and Johnny - what a legend, made it truly memorable. Highly recommended. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Review for Zoom Tours Niagra Falls and Tour Guide, Garry First, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our personable, kind, respectful, knowledgable, and hospitable tour guide, Garry, with Zoom Tours to Niagra Falls on July 15th, 2026. Garry had a great sense of humor while also being earnest. We learned a lot, laughed often, and enjoyed the other tourists on our bus. The bus however, was advertised by Zoom Tours as: "Transportation by luxury minibus or motorcoach”. As a former teacher who has taken students on numerous field trips, this was nothing fancier than a school bus: the vinyl seats were horribly uncomfortable, and unlike a school bus, had no seatbelts. To make matters worse, it appeared that the bus had zero shock absorption and poor suspension, as every nook, cranny, and bump were felt the entire trip. There were countless instances that all of us were jarred forward or up from our seats, through no fault of our driver. Fifteen minutes into the tour the microphone began to produce annoying static until it eventually broke and did not come back on until the last quarter of the trip on the way back, which was still annoying because it was still producing static, making what the driver said undecipherable. We received a solicitous email from Zoom Tours after the tour requesting a review. I sent them a private email with the details in this review and they replied with an apology for our disappointment, an explanation, "due to an unexpected equipment change on the day of your tour, we had to substitute the originally scheduled vehicle to avoid cancelling the tour altogether". While I can appreciate "last minute" problems, this company also states that customers must give 24 hours cancellation notice in order to receive a full refund. We did not receive ANY notice of a change in "equipment", therefore not giving us a chance to proceed or cancel our tour. Zoom Tours' offer of a "small token of $50 Canadian Dollars" does not match the $294.68 U.S. dollars that we paid for something that we did not sign up for. We are very disappointed that Zoom Tours did not provide us with a choice to cancel as well their lack of adequate compensation for the many uncomfortable hours we spent on the full day bus tour to and from Toronto and Niagra Falls. I've since learned that this is not a "first" with Zoom Tours. According to Google, there are others who have complained about a last minute change in lesser vehicles than advertised, as well.
Again another great tour and TOUR GUIDE!! Anthony was very helpful and understanding. When people amde a mistake by not listening to him - he would not get upset, but would turn around and help them to make sure they got all of there tour in (maybe out of order). We truely enjoyed the falls - it is worth going.
I had a very warm welcome from the tour guide and bus driver Johnny. He did an amazing job, very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great day learning lots of cool interesting facts along the way.
Fantastic tour , great knowledgeable guide. Lunch at the Sheraton Falls View was excellent. This was good value for money ... would absolutely recommend.
My wife and I usually take a tour when we travel to someplace we haven't been before, so when we booked a trip to Toronto to visit Niagara Falls, we hired Zoom tours through Viator. Our tour guide was Johnny, and I'm not exaggerating when I say he's by far the best tour guide we've had - and we've had quite a few. He has an extensive knowledge of the area, including all the back roads and shortcuts that helped keep us from getting stuck in Toronto's considerable traffic. But that's not all: he's also a funny, engaging sort who kept everyone laughing through the whole trip to the falls and back. Makes sense, since he spent a couple of years singing and doing comedy on a cruise ship. But he's also extremely well-traveled, and can not only tell you the history of Toronto and its little-known fun facts, but pretty much every place else as well. We expected just another ho-hum tour, but we were treated to an entertaining and educational experience that turned out to be the high point of our trip. Now, when we're stuck in traffic, my wife and I ask, WWJD - What Would Johnny Do?
Excellent experience, it’s surreal!!! Everyone should see this wonderful place!!! I already told my family to go & see this amazing place.
Johnny was great and provided information about the areas we were visiting plus the areas we passed along our way which really helped pass the time during the long drives. We felt taken care of and like we were a priority. Learned a lot and enjoyed the sights.
There are several parts to this review in order for it to be fair and helpful. The booking process and communications is disjointed between Viator and Zoom. Viator advertises as tour pick up at the Revery Hotel. Less than 24 hours Zoom says they cant pick up at hotel due to construction..Too late to cancel and there was no construction or road closure schedule for this week. Viator sends a email the morning of the tour saying pick up is at hotel.. why are they not on the same page? Tour guide Johnny was very good however we spent too much time at the lake, flower clock and maple syrup tasting. I signed up for behind the falls tour and was talked out of it by the guide saying it would interfere with the walk to the boat ride and photo oppurtunities and departure time..why is this sold as an option when there is not enough time..The guide was correct but will I get a refund? The buffett was convienient and adequate but nithing was said about a soda being and extra charge. Guide did a good job getting us a half block from our hotel even though he was being told the roads were closed..They were not which I communicated to Zoom and Viator when the pick up point was changed. Organization and communications gets a 2. Tour guide gets a 4.5 Boat tour 5 Buffet 3 Other sites 3 Overall 3 Value 3
Great start, the tour is well paced and you can see everything and the stops along the way are crucial to see Niagara area. The falls are out of this world. Our Guide Gary is one of the best i ever seen, very helpfull, funny and always ready to help. Top Top.
Our tour guide was good, courteous and funny. Niagara Falls is beautiful. I would say to the outsourced companies, pair your groups together that have the same bookings. It is stressful for the driver and guests when everyone’s tickets are different, people are having to wait for others to finish their excursions and the ones on the excursion feels rushed.
My daughter and I are visiting Toronto from California and doing a tour of Niagara Falls was a MUST! We were hesitant in picking a tour group and spending so much money but ultimately decided on the Zoom Tours as it seemed like such a good deal. We received timely updates via text and email regarding pickup locations and times that were affected by other downtown events. We were thrilled when Johnny arrived with his catchy horn honking and humor. Johnny kept us fully informed and entertained with stories about what we were seeing along the drive. We had multiple families who spoke a variety of languages (which was no problem as Johnny spoke at least 7 languages), and he kept them informed as well. We had a few stops for photo opportunities and our final stop was at Niagara Falls for lunch. We had not pre-booked lunch but were still able to pay our guide and enjoy a great buffet with amazing views. Johnny then led us to our Journey Behind the Falls tour followed by the boat cruise. We had multiple set backs on our ride back which Johnny navigated like an expert! We would not hesitate to recommend Zoom for this tour and guide Johnny for his excellent humor and knowledge. Thank you Johnny for a very very memorable and amazing experience!!
Our tour guide, Johnny, was out of this world fabulous! Normally I don’t care for guides talking a lot but Johnny was just the right amount informative and absolutely hilarious! He was attentive to all our needs and went out of his way to make sure our experience was a superb one. I highly recommend this experience.
Johnny was amazing! Full of energy and a great tour guide! Journey behind the falls and the boat ride to the falls was great!
Gary was a great guide, and we really enjoyed hearing about the Toronto and Niagara areas from him. And we had a great time seeing the awe-inspiring falls!!
We had a great time on the tour. Everything was lovely and Johnny was a great tour guide. All the folks on the tour with us were very friendly. Beautiful views of the falls, from behind, up above (at lunch) and straight in on the boat. Really a bucket list event!
Everything was as described. The whole trip was worth it. The driver, George was very helpful and patient. He did a great job of getting us around and helping someone on the bus who was handicap. It was an amazing experience!
Great guide. Called Patrick. Knew his city well and details on the falls. The traffic on highway 401 prevented us from completing all the sites on the itinerary
Was a great way to see Niagara Falls. Our tour guide Dwayne took great care of us and was polite and informative. Would recommend.
The boat into the falls the only highlight of a tour that was not adhered to After payment was told they cannot pick me up at hotel downtown so had to take a 10 minute taxi journey Trip stated tour behind Niagara falls on e arrived was told this is not included Purchased the lunch deal 😠 a buffet with hardly any choice with not a lot left
Enjoyed the tour to Niagara Falls, the guide provided information about the areas we passed by and gave history about different things.
The entire tour was amazing. We throughly enjoyed every second. It was, in fact, beyond our expectations. We saw the Falls from the viewing area, went on the Behind the Falls tour, went on the "Maid of The Mist" boat ride, and then had a magnificent view of both the US and Canadian side as we enjoyed an excellent lunch. Our guide, Syed, did an excellent job. He picked us up at out hotel at the designated time, provided information about the area while traveling, and made sure we knew where to go once we got to Niagara Falls. We are very glad we booked this tour and will recommend it to others.
Super scenic tour with a great friendly tour guide. John knew tons of information and gave great tips on where to go and where not to spend money. Very roomy tour van with refreshments and individualized care to ensure our tour was exceptional. Biggest spot was behind the falls section but the drive alone was worth it as it was early and beat tons of foot and automobile traffic. Thanks for everything John you made the tour that much better!
The boat trip, journey behind the falls and whirlpools were amazing. The views were stunning and I got absolutely soaked on the boat, but it was totally worth it to be that close to the falls! There was a good selection of food at lunch. Our tour guide Gary was friendly, informative, shared interesting knowledge and truly made the trip one to remember. Would definitely recommend!
The Boat behind the falls and the wonderful lunch at the Sheraton. We had enough time at each place and the driver Greg was so patient with the people who did not quite understand english.
This tour was a wonderful way to see all Niagara Falls has to offer without the stress of not knowing your way around. Our tour guide Gary was great. We went to Niagara Falls, the whirlpool, the Floral Clock, drove around the city, had lunch at the Sheraton and even made a pit stop at a Maple shop for syrup and fudge tastings. Highly recommend!
Gary is AWSOME I traveled solo and he made sure to check up on me. Even when I got turned around with the pick up location Gary was determined not to leave me. I appreciate his hospitality and professionalism during my day at Niagara Falls
Do not pick the Lunch option! Horrible food and service at Sheraton Fallsview Buffet. The staff looked irritated & angry that another tour group was eating there. They kept saying another tour group. Server did not even come over & asked what wanted to drink. There’s a melted ice pitcher of tap water on each table. When I asked server for 2 sodas, she angrily said that’s not included in your tour buffet. Told her it wasn’t a problem, I would pay. And why isnt a soda included in the price Viator/Zoom Tours? Once the drinks arrived she yelled cash or credit?! Very Rude & Unprofessional! Zoom Tours & Viator, Stop booking lunches there please! Servers treated the tour groups like 2nd class citizens. There’s plenty of restaurants around & u get free time for lunch. Skip the lunch option. Tour guide is basically just a driver, will u drive u to the boat stop or behind the journey. Boat ride was awesome, Must Do!
An incredible journey with GoDiscoverAfrica RwTours! From the moment we booked, till departure was incredible
We had such a wonderful trip! Our tour leader Johny was so great and fantastic, very friendly and with lots of useful information; making the outmust to make sure we had a great time (despite there was heavy rain). 100% 10 stars!!
Everything was great! Except for the lunch at Sheraton. The food was NOT good at all. The only thing I found was edible was from the salad bar. I would advise not booking the lunch and getting your own food.
John was an amazing tour guide. He went way above and beyond what I feel a tour of Guide should do. If you decide to book a tour in Niagara falls, request zoom and John if possible. Talks a little fast but the fact that he was born and raised there knows a lot of little things that you probably wouldn't find from a normal tour guide. His knowledge of the history of that area is also very interesting. I learned a lot and had a great time on the tour, especially with the group that was with us. Took up group photo together. So like I said choose zoom request John. Thanks for the great tour John. Bye, The Brown family
The boat trip and the views whilst having lunch. The tour guide was both knowledgeable and entertaining
Johnny was great! His pacing of the trip was excellent. We’d booked behind the falls experience, but decided to skip it - both due to time and the completeness of the boat trip. One thing I would pass on is lunch at the Sheraton.
Our driver,/tour guide Johnny was awesome! He was very funny and engaging the entire day which made the drive enjoyable. He also treated us like VIPs throughout the whole day. He was on time, very professional, and even got our boat tickets for us so we didn’t have to wait in line. The day was organized The food was great, and the company was even better. Being a tour guide myself, I would definitely recommend and would book again.
We had the best day with our guide Fabio, it was so hard to say good bye. What a gem! We got picked up in Toronto and had the best day and evening in Niagara with a walk behind the falls, boat ride, we visited the cutest little marked and Fabio spread his wisdom and wittiness the whole trip. Thank you, Fabio!
The tour was incredible. We had the best tour guide on the planet. Fabio......it was a pleasure for myself and husband to experience our first trip to Canada with you. Fabio showed such a wealth of knowledge, high energy and a personality that made the tour feel not like a tour. I would recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Niagara Falls with him. The only thing I was disappoint with the tour was the lunch. Not much of a selection for the price. This part of the tour needs to be worked on. My suggestion would be to partner with a better location that offers a better quality and selection of food.
Favio is s great guide actually extraordinary. Great activity highly recommended. The talks are magnificent sbd the day interesting and enjoyable.
The Niagara Falls are a sight to see. Nobody tells you that you need to walk down a 190 foot ramp that twisted and turned down to the Niagara River below. The boat ride was spectacular as shown in the photographs. However, there is no way to go back up the ramp with disabilities. We finally had to convince someone to use a golf cart to get us back to the top. Then we had to walk around the park to get back to the bus. What a nightmare. It’s not cool that the city of Niagara doesn’t have capability for disabled people.
Most memorable was the falls themselves. I could have spent an hour more there. Restaurant where we had lunch was very nice, as was Niagara-on-the-Lake
We had such an amazing experience! From the tour to our tour guide Fabio. He knew everything, was kind and took some amazing pictures of us. Fabio made us feel welcomed and warm on a cold day. I really enjoyed the tour specially with Fabio. I really can’t say enough but how amazing he was. He made the tour fun. He showed us places that were on the way to Niagara Falls that no other tour would. If you get the chance to have Fabio as your tour guide, best believe you will have the best experience!!! Here are some pictures Fabio took of us. Beside a tour guide he is good at taking pictures. he can even be your photographer. Take care of Fabio because this man works extended hours and made the tour group feel comfortable.
I would highly recommend this tour! Fabio is fantastic, very enthusiastic and overall a great guide! This was our first time visiting Niagara and I feel like it was the perfect tour to do so! It was super cool to do all the main attractions and if you didn’t book it you had the option to add it on! I would absolutely consider doing this tour again! I also appreciated that Fabio seemed to really care his people got the full experience and weren’t cut short! Thank you Fabio! You’re awesome!
Fabio was a wonderful guide and a safe bus driver with a lot knowledge. Such a warm person. Thank you very much! Unfortunately, we could no walk around Niagara on the Lake like the description says.
My husband and I were part of a day group tour and were greeted warmly by Fabio, who is the driver AND also our fantastic tour guide! :) The trip was smoothly planned and we definitely recommend the whole package if you are up for an adventure and memorable experience! As for Fabio, we couldn't thank him enough for being so informative and we really liked how straightforward he is with instructions. We will definitely book with the same tour company when we come back to Ontario w/ family & friends and would recommend it highly. Jerica & Jakey
Great way to spend a day in the Niagra Falls area. Fabio proved to be very passionate about tourism and had lots of information on various areas/buildings etc. He provided interesting and factual commentary along the routes. In addition, we had plenty of time at each stop and did not feel rushed at all. However, if you were looking to spend more time on the Clifton Hill strip, I would recommend an additional trip out. The only downside to the tour was the bus itself. It did not have working air conditioning, nor did the windows open. The only way to get air in was the emergency exit on the roof - when the bus was in motion. The lack of air + heat + masks made it very difficult to breathe on the bus. It made for a very uncomfortable ride as the day warmed up. Several people on the bus had made fans out of their maps in attempt to get air on themselves.
My favorite part of the trip were the Niagara Falls related activities such as the cruise and the behind the falls experience. The tour guide, Fabio, was excellent. He had all the local history memorized, portrayed great passion, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. While most tour guides would simply drop us off and give us our tickets. Fabio stood in line with us, and made sure we went to the correct place and within a reasonable time, and even ate lunch with us.
I was on a business trip to Toronto and had a free day. THIS was the best way to spend it! I had never been to Niagara Falls, and so happy to have chosen this package. Worth every cent. Our tour guide FABIO, was charming, informative. and fun. He took great care to answer any questions and make sure our group had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this tour and this company. Thanks Viator for a great day.
Fabio was out tour guide and it was amazing. He is very knowledgeable. My son and I had a great time. I definitely recommen this activity.
