Tour guide, Nikki, and driver, Don, were awesome! Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake exceeded expectations. The only downside was the buffet lunch - too crowded and chaotic, and food was marginal. Otherwise, it was a very special experience!

Niagara Falls is a group of three waterfalls at the southern end of Niagara Gorge, spanning the border between the province of Ontario in Canada and the state of New York in the United States. The largest of the three is Horseshoe Falls, which straddles the international border of the two countries. It is also known as the Canadian Falls. The smaller American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls lie within the United States. The Bridal Veil Falls is separated from Horseshoe Falls by Goat Island and from American Falls by Luna Island, with both islands situated in New York.
Table Rock Welcome Centre is a retail and observation complex located in Niagara Falls at the brink of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. You will be given free time to go up close and feel the mist of the Falls, take pictures, and explore the complex on your own.
Niagara-on-the-Lake offers old-world charm, historical architecture, and outdoor activities. You will be given free time to explore different historic sites and boutique shops, as well as the opportunity to take pictures.
Upon your return to Toronto, you will be dropped off where you were originally picked up.

Our guide Nikki and driver Isaac were great, Nikki was upbeat and funny. We wish we could have spent more time in niagara on the lake as it wasn't long enough to see everything. The wine tasting was good but would have been nice to see more of how it was made Overall it was a good trip and a good day. We enjoyed our trip.
Meeting with coach at the hotel satisfactory and whole trip was good.HOWEVER we were informed by the guide when we reached Niagara that the booking we had made did not include lunch OR the trip (Maid of the Mist). We were lucky enough to have funds to cover this but the information given on booking was inadequate.
Tour guide David had interesting history and info along the drive, perfect amount of time at the Falls, the eine tasting and at Niagara on the lake. It becomes a long day with getting back to the downtown area but worth it.
My parents and I enjoyed very much the trip, the staff was amazing, and we will definitely recommend it.
I had an amazing time in Niagara. The trip was truly wonderful, and our tour guide gave us all the information we needed to make the most of it. My only regret was not spending more time in Niagara-on-the-Lake; 30 minutes just wasn't enough to take it all in.
There’s a lot about this trip that is not in the operator’s control - the traffic, the line for the boat, an elevator out of order for leaving the falls. So know up front that it may be 9pm by the time you get home. David and Don were our guides. They were forced to pick up a straggler who arrived at the wrong location. I emailed management and they said they are aware. From the reviews, it looks like this is a common issue. But the trip itself was great. Very good transportation with interesting narration. Loved having everything taken care of in advance. Pro tip - if you arrive at NOTL late, go to the gyro spot for a quick dinner.
We had a mutual pick up spot in the city of Toronto right next to Tim Horton's. The Niagara Falls tour Journey behind the Falls was very good. The closest spot to see the falls without being on a boat with a crowd of people. After a nice walk around the falls park we got on the bus for a short drive to Niagara on the Lake town to see the sights & walk in the park. This is where it got messed up as the driver had a time to depart and four people did not return. We delayed our take off almost 30 minutes. The guide couldn't get the people's phone numbers cause the tour office in Toronto was closed. So we went on to the winery. Tried 5 different wines including the Ice wine which is very sweet. A very nice store at this winery. The drive back into the city was longer than expected due to traffic delays but we returned safely. Driver & guide were very nice.
We were switched to an earlier pick-up time less than 24hrs beforehand, first over two hours earlier but later 75 minutes earlier. This was frustrating as we had booked the later departure time specifically because we weren't going to arrive at our hotel until midnight the night before. Once we were at the pick-up point the next morning, we discovered we hadn't just been switched to a different pick-up time, but we had been switched to a different tour at a different tour company. Although the new tour did have an enjoyable guide and it did hit the spots we wanted, there was an additional stop and it arrived back in Toronto 90 mins later at 9:00pm, causing us to rush to our cocktail bar reservations. Beware that the schedule could change with short notice.
This was a great experience, going to the Falls, then having the option to enhance your trip with a Niagara City boat tour. We then drove to Niagara at the lake wineries, which Bella Tierra has amazing ice wine and was very welcoming and friendly. You finish your trip by having time in the cute town of Niagara at the Lake. My family and I really enjoyed the length of the trip and everything that is included. Would definitely recommend and do it again. Additionally our tour guide was very informative with some fun facts throughout the journey. While this was a wonderful way to see the falls and we really enjoyed our time, I’m not rating a 5 because there was some miscommunication between those who chose to enhance their trip (Queen Elizabeth luncheon and/or Boat tour) versus those who didn’t, I feel like those who didn’t could of just explored more of Niagara city rather than ‘checking in with the bus tour’ as they weren’t participating in the other activities.
We were in Toronto for a few days and could not miss going to Niagra Falls ! The coach arrived on time at the agreed pickup point and we were met by Don the Driver and Nicky the guide what a lovely warm welcome! Nicky was very professional and knew her history of all the sightseeing spots along the way and even added a little humour along the way. Dons driving was ace and we felt very safe on the coach the whole day from start to finish was a memorable experience and would definitely recommend TBCL
A wonderful day of touring the Niagara area of Canada. Our tour guide, Dave was exceptional in his knowledge of the area. Along with his driver, Jason, they made the trip rememberable.
Nikki and Frank were great! Nikki provided tons of information about the surrounding areas as we passed. Her energy and organization made for a lovely experience. Niagara Falls, Lunch at the Victoria Place, Wine Tasting and Niagara by the Lake shopping. A must do!
The tour was very informative. I would recommend that most people get the package with lunch and journey behind the wall to get the full experience. Jacob was a great tour guide and also gave good recommendations about what to do around the city of Toronto after the tour concluded.
It really is a worthwhile trip from Toronto. For us the weather was excellent, too, clear sky and sunny the whole day. The bus was good but the driver, Mr Andrew Graham, made everything far more enjoyable. He knows a lot about Toronto and all the areas around, his geography and history knowledge is very impressive. We learned in 1 day a lot more about the city and about Niagara Falls than we knew from school or personal reading. The Falls are far more impressive in reality than in any movie or video we had watched. The stop at the winery on the way back was also a big plus. Everything was well organized but again, having a good guide makes a difference. In the summer it would be probably even nicer as the option for the boat ride is open, which wasn't the case now, due to the weather. However, winter has its own pluses and offers unique views. All in all, this day tour is worth the time and the money.
Wayn our tour guide was helpful witty and a very informative person to have with us . Excellent trip
Tour guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. Also very accommodating. Highly recommend this tour
Niagara Falls is amazing. Be sure to book the boat ride too, although we stayed inside to avoid getting drenched. Blaine was an excellent guide; very knowledgeable and entertaining. I learned more about the falls than I would have if I had rented a car and driven there. Niagara on the Lake is a cute small town, but not sure it was worth the extra time it took to go there.
The tour guide, David, was great. So knowledgeable around the history and also entertaining. We really enjoyed all parts of the tour. Because of other passengers disrespect for keeping time we lost 30 minutes of time at Niagara on the Lake. 7 passengers turned up for the bus when we left the falls 40 minutes late, with no apology at all. If you attend this tour be fair to others and be on time.
Excellent excursion Both Our Driver and guide Mr.David are very decent and has good knowledge. Both of them are very gentle
Our driver was excellent and professional. The guide was informative and knowledgeable about the area. Ample time was given for each stop. Wear your walking shoes.
We enjoyed a good tour thanks to Nikki our tour guide, and Isaac our coach driver, who did an excellent job throughout the day. Everything went very well until their HQ stepped in to direct our coach to pull into a shopping mall about 10km from the city, and to wait for two individuals who had failed to be at the Union Station pickup on time (in actual fact we left there 10 to 15 mins after the scheduled departure). Our coach with 40+ passengers onboard was forced by the HQ to wait for about 30 mins until these two selfish and inconsiderate individuals arrived in an Uber to join the coach! The fare rules clearly stipulate a grace period of 5 mins on departure times, yet we all had to suffer because the company chose to bend the rules for two selfish individuals who clearly had no respect for the rest of us. The rules are there for a reason, and customers have a right to expect that they will be applied fairly. That certainly did not happen on our trip.
We had a wonderful experience on this tour! Our tour leader, Nikki, was absolutely fabulous , so friendly, upbeat, and knowledgeable. She kept the atmosphere light while making sure everyone had clear instructions, which helped the tour run smoothly. Isaac, our driver, also did a fantastic job getting us around safely and keeping the bus at the perfect temperature , a small but much-appreciated detail. The tour itself was exactly as described. We lucked out with a beautiful day and felt the timing at each stop was just right, allowing us to really enjoy the experience without feeling rushed. The only minor hiccup was a moment of confusion at the start when a guide from another bus was a bit short with us while we were figuring out which bus to board. A little kindness would have gone a long way in that moment. Could have just let us know our bus would be around within a few minutes. That said, once we were with Nikki and Isaac, the day was nothing short of terrific. I’d highly recommend this tour!
Good experience. My only complaint was the bus ride home ended up being an additional 45 minutes due to traffic. Although there is nothing that could have been done to prevent that issue. It would have been helpful to know in the description that Niagara Falls is about 1.5-2 hrs from Toronto
Outstanding service, knowledge and stops! The coach was full and I became friends with an elderly lady also travelling alone who sat next to me. We travelled to a winery run by students and teachers from Niagara College, the wine and experience were fantastic. We then travelled to Niagara Falls where we had a 3 course lunch on the terrace of a restaurant overlooking the falls. After a wet river cruise to the bottom of the falls, we headed to Niagara on the Lake for a quick stop before heading back through traffic and construction delays to Toronto
Wayne was super nice and helpful throughout the entire trip. He kept us entertained with so many facts on our long drive from Toronto.
Amazing experience, all day trip, could have more time at the winery though. Comfortable bus and nice tour guide David.
Fantastic day out. Can’t describe how spectacular the falls are. Not a wine buff but the stop at the winery was great too. Bought a very nice bottle of ice wine. Hats off to our driver and guide Wayne 👏🏼.
Hi Laura, Just a quick note to say a huge thank you for our AMAZING trip to Niagra yesterday, Toronto Bus Company Limited served up a wonderful end2end experience. You offered great communication, accurate timings and a real comfortable trip. Wayne is a wonderful gentleman, his customer care, driving skills are fantastic. He also has great history and local knowledge, he is a huge asset to the TEAM at TBCL. Thank you once again for your 5star experience, you are highly reccomended by us Stay safe, have fun - enjoy Kind regards Martin & Catherine x
We had a great day out (lovely weather too and not many people despite it being a weekend). We did Behind the Falls and this was efficient and fun! The winery being the first stop means you are having a drink before 11am but there is no pressure to drink all the wine samples served. Great gift shop. Have an idea before you get off the bus of where you’d like to walk for Niagara on the lake, as there is the Main Street and the beach. When you see the prices of parking, you’ll realise what a breeze the tour is compared to self driven.
You have such rude customer service and not helpful cancellations happen without any explanation or communication whatsoever charged my card
Excellent day trip spent visiting Niagara and lots of attractions along the way, some we knew about and others added as a surprise which was great! Would really recommend this tour. Special shout out to our guide Shaf who was very insightful on the day and gave us lots of interesting information on the day. He was very punctual throughout the day which was impressive also! Thanks, Beena and Michael
Genuinely worth all five stars. Pick up in town was great, Chaf was a great tour guide and bus driver. He was informative and fun but also gave us space to explore at our leisure. The wine tasting was just right and we had a couple of bonus elements too! Niagara Falls itself was stunning. I paid for the attraction (totally worth it even in winter) but not the lunch. I grabbed some Poutine and wandered around on my own before connecting with the group again for the trip to Niagara-on-the-lake. It was such a great way to see one of the 7 wonders of the world
Visit to Niagara-on-the-Lake didn’t take place, no notification of change. Specifically booked this trip to go there
Shaf was funny and knowledgeable. He shared a lot of stories and trivia on our way to the falls. Overall the trip was very organized. We needed to swap to a different date because it was off season but the communication was clear.
My father came from Taiwan to visit me and my partner, and I am very happy to have taken him on this day tour. We had a great time, made possible by our guide and our driver, who are both very courteous, helpful, and lovely people! We had some great conversations and I was very happy our guide Raya made my partner Beth and my father David feel so welcomed. We did not booked the group lunch but was able to eat at the same restaurant with the help of our guide, where the food was great and the view of the falls was amazing. It was a great excursion that left us very satisfied at the end of the day. Thank you so much!
We had the best day today ,our tour guide Shafin ,was a mazing ,he was so informative and very friendly ,we learnt so much about beautiful Toronto city to the amazing Niagara and little towns in between . Nothing was too much trouble ,for our lovely tour guide ,he made our day first class and. 7 Star all the way ,from start to finish. The Aussie Dunns ,thank you so much for the amazing experience.
Fabulous day even though it was December and the crowds were thin the views were spectacular and the guide was amazing.
Glad I decided to do the tour to Niagara from Toronto this way instead of on our own. This was easy, organized, and the operator and driver were both great. The tour itself offered plenty of time to do everything necessary to explore Niagara Falls and NOTL. The winery was an awesome addition too! Would definitely recommend this vs trying to get there by train and bus on your own if you are not familiar with Ontario.
This was one of the many Expedia options for activities that departed Toronto to visit Niagara Falls and I'm so glad I chose it. Shaf was our guide and he narrated most of the trip down from the city with interesting tidbits and facts that I wouldn't have known if I was driving myself. We had about 2 hours at the Falls area (lunch was not an option on the Expedia booking), in which there was plenty of time to take photos, get something to eat, and walk around. While some of the group for the boat tour (again, not available to book from within Expedia), we got to walk in the Clifton Falls entertainment area for about an hour. Once we departed the Falls, we drove up along the Niagara River through some gorgeous scenery (and even made a few short stops), until we arrived at the winery. While at Bella Terra, we were treated to three ice wines in our tasting and had a short time to peruse inside the tasting room store. There was no pressure to buy. Finally, we ended the day in Niagara on the Lake, which was remiscent of Estes Park in Colorado. All done up for the holidays, it was a great little window or real shopping spot with some quick food places and washrooms. The return trip took a bit longer with the traffic going into Toronto (close to 3 hours), so it ended up being an almost 11 hour day for us. It was an excellent way to take an adventure without needing to plan it all on your own and I couldn't recommend it enough.
Everything about day was great esp Brian + Wayne . Entertaining informAtive crammed alot in clean bus ..my friend was here from Australia . Was great day
Our Diver Guide was so great and very knowledgeable of the city of Toronto and the south of ontario region. Very impressive. He is a great asset to your company
You HAVE to do this if you come to Toronto, you would kick yourself if you didn't! I really couldn't recommend it more! My teenagers absolutely loved it too! Stopped off at Niagara on the lake and would have liked more time here, it's a beautiful little town, but it was a long day as it was! The driver and tour host was great. You must do this tour!
It was a great tour!! Nikki was a superb guide providing us with lots of valuable information and guiding us in a way that there was also sufficient space for individual activities. Don was a great driver, navigating us through crazy Toronto traffic - so we made it on time!
The tour guide was great and puck up went so smoothly! Honestly everything was going perfect, until we got to lunch. Apparently we didn't sign up for the lunch option (don't remember that being available so we had to pay for that additionally). Free time there was great! Then we went to the boat ride...again we needed to pay for this separately! We were some of the only people on the tour that needed to pay for items additionally. Tour was great, tasting was great, Niagra on the lake was great! Just a little weird that we had to keep paying.
A nice trip although quite a long day. The bus host was very informative. Quite annoying that Viator review requires 100 words.
Our driver and guide Joe was very knowledgeable and worked hard to make sure we got to everywhere we needed to be and had a great time-Niagara Falls was awesome.
Great trip! Very well organized and the guide Chaf was amazing, explaining every details along the way. The driver Brian was amazing as well! Much recommended!
This trip was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Niagara Falls. Stops by the winery and Niagara on the Lake were very nice add ons. Our tour narrator, Chef, did a wonderful job making sure to inform us about all the historic sites. He and Bryan, our driver, worked well together and allowed time for persons to capture photos of must see places. We definitely recommend this tour.
Trip was awesome. Our driver safur ( hope I got it right) was the best . Very professional, was early for pick up, friendly , very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure we were back in time to catch our flight. Absolutely recommend this trip , was a full day packed a lot of things in .
