This was a great way to see Niagara Falls from Toronto and would 100% recommend it to anyone. We travelled as a couple with our 20 month old daughter. The guide was incredibly accommodating and the mini-bus/coach was perfect. Plenty of room, comfortable and easy. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave us some a good overview of events at Niagara Falls. He also had a very dry sense of humour which was qwerky and memorable. The boat trip is a must add-on to see the Falls up close and experience them. Combined with going up the Skylon tower for a great view of the Falls from above means you really do get to see the falls without regrets or missing out. The maple syrup sampling stop is a really nice bonus. Its short and sweet (pun intended). We didn't buy any maple syrup there (as was cheaper in Toronto) but it informed us which style to buy. However, we did pick up some some other bits and pieces from the shops as the clothing shop was well priced. There was also enough time in Niagara to get something to eat and have a little explore. P.S. We priced it up and its cheaper to book this tour with the discounted boat tour and skylon tower rates than getting a train from Toronto and booking yourself. Not to mention quicker and easier.
Had a wonderful time driver was excellent I would recommend this such a wonderful experience Family had a great time
Mel was a great and informative guide who kept everyone on time and everything running smoothly. The tour was well organized and is an easy and affordable way to spend an afternoon in Niagara Falls. Highly recommend this tour!
Melvin was amazing! Definitely recommending this to everyone so maybe places we seen 10/10 he made sure we were good at all times!
Melvin was absolutely amazing! He made our Niagara tour such a great experience from start to finish. He knew exactly where to take us, what was worth seeing, and how to make the most of our time without ever making the day feel rushed. He was extremely knowledgeable, organized, friendly, and easy to talk to. You could tell he really knew the area well, and he gave us great recommendations throughout the day. Everything felt smooth and well planned, which made it so much easier for us to just enjoy the experience. What stood out the most was how attentive and helpful he was. He really went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable trip and didn’t miss anything important. If you are looking for a Niagara tour guide, I would absolutely recommend Melvin. He made the experience so much more enjoyable, and I would book with him again without hesitation!
this was so breathtaking. I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life. If you get a chance to do it while you’re in Canada, it is a must.
Great tour. The maple syrup tasting is a fantastic stop on the way. The bus driver was very informative and kept evey thing running on time.
I had a fantastic day on the Niagara Falls tour! The falls were absolutely spectacular and even more impressive in person. The tour was a great way to see the sights, enjoy the scenery, and experience one of Canada’s most famous attractions without having to organise everything myself. It was a memorable experience and definitely a highlight of my trip to Canada. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Toronto!
We enjoyed the narrated tour guide on the way to Niagara Falls. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and knew the area well. You do make several stops within the park before arriving at the Falls but you do not stop at all on the way back.
My wife and I thought a day outing by bus from Toronto would be the best hassle free way to do it. We were right. We were aboard the bus outside Ripley’s Aquarium at 8am. Our driver/guide Miki was terrific. He seemed to know a lot about everything we passed on our journey of over 2 hours to Niagara, where we would be spending 3 hours. We stopped for maple syrup tasting and a bit of shop browsing, had a photo stop for a dam and hydro electric works, and again for the floral clock before finally reaching Niagara. We had booked to go on the boat to the falls. Miki sorted the tickets out for us and advised us to do that first before taking in the other sights. We wore waterproof jackets and trousers for the boat trip, with the plastic poncho’s provided on top. That was the right move because everyone on the top deck was thoroughly drenched. You can stay behind glass on the lower deck if you don’t want to get wet. The sheer noise, wind, and spray from the Canadian horseshoe falls in particular is incredible. After the boat trip, we had a cheap and cheerful lunch, although Miki had recommended a number of better places to eat if we wanted to walk up the hill through the LA or Blackpool like amusements, sideshows, and ghost houses. On the bus trip back we were provided with bottles of water and allowed to sit back and enjoy the journey. This was a fantastic day trip and well worth the money. Great without the hassle, and with a top driver/guide. Highly recommended.
Went as a solo traveller and it was great! lovely history lesson and story telling by the guide. I would definitely recommend.
If not the boat tour to the falls, the trip is not really worth time. All was fine, timely organised, but it had a rather boring character. Μy guess is that the guide was more suitable for older people and his monotone manner of providing info reminded of boring days at school..
Well balanced tour with a guide who provides a variety of information on areas as we travel through them. Option to undertake some parts of the tour adds a nice level of flexibility. Well managed tour, encourage going with others.
This was well worth the price. I appreciated the fun stop to do Maple syrup tasting and pick up a few souvenirs. The coach was clean and the Tour Guide kept everyone on schedule.
Fantastic day out - well timed to enjoy Niagara Falls and the skylon tower without feeling rushed. Highly recommend!
Make sure you know where the bus is going from so you don't have to find it under pressure. It's exactly opposite the stadium. Micko is very knowledgeable, we had a wonderful day! Highly recommend this trip!
A very well organised trip. The pick-up outside Ripley’s Aquarium was perfect for us just a short walk from our accommodation. Micko, our driver and guide was very friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable. He was very good at explaining about the sights to Niagara Falls, the Falls and with humour. He looked after the group. We had a great day.
This was such a fun experience! I originally signed up just for the round trip transportation from Toronto to the Falls, but I got so much from it. Micko, our tour guide was so knowledgeable and he kept the vibes up.
Light and easy schedule enroute Niagara falls cruise, Micko our guide was knowledgeable on small details in Toronto and Niagara's history, added plus is our small group which made it easy for us to go in and out of the bus for picture taking...
A great way to visit Niagara Falls from Toronto. Our driver Mel was full of information about the region and was meticulous in maintaining our schedule. We added the Skylon Tower on his recommendation-an unforgettable view on a beautiful blue sky day. We skipped the Boat Trip though, preferring to grab some lunch (recommend Iskender Turkish restaurant at the top of Clifton Hill) and wander the length of the promenade at our own pace. A super day out - thank you! A tip - if you are going on the boat you might want to grab a snack from the Maple Syrup stop otherwise you could be waiting a long time till lunch….
Melvin was very hospitable and knowledgeable of the trip. He led in a way that made you feel comfortable and all was enjoyable. This was one of the best trips ever!
Melvin was great He pointed out all the important bits and gave tips. The falls boat tour was definitely worth it
Excellent tour with a great driver/tour guide. Very informative and had a great time. A truly memorable experience
Guide and driver Mel is a font of knowledge which he shares happily as he drives. He is a genuine and very helpful chap. Trip was well paced.
If you want a hassle free trip to Niagara from Toronto.. this is the trip for you. Our guide Wilfred was simply excellent, gave good recommendations and made the day very easy! 100% recommend
Friendly driver who provides interesting commentary. We really enjoyed the pace of the trip. Included stop for maple syrup tasting was pleasant.
Lovely tour, the trip to Maple Leaf Place for a maple syrup tasting was great as was Skylon tower for an amazing view of the falls (for an extra charge - bring cash!). I definitely recommend booking the boat, getting up close to the falls was incredible and you still get time to explore on your own. Our guide, Mel, was amazing giving us loads of history chat, stories from his life, and jokes on the drive over. It was really interesting and he made me laugh several times with his deadpan delivery and it made the long drive much more enjoyable! I particularly enjoyed his story of his 'ufo' encounter and learning about people who have gone over the falls.
We had a great day with Melvin. Everything was very smooth from pick up to drop off. He provides very clear directions. He has a very dry wit and made his tour information quite funny if are you paying attention. Great trip overall. I would recommend this if you want a stress free day trip to Niagara Falls
Very nice experience I would recommend family and friends on this excursion. Very timely mannered. Our tour guy was very responsible and nice! Very informative! Thank you.
Great day out, highlights were the Skylon Tower and the Hornblower cruise, you will get wet. Tour guide Mel was excellent.
The attractions were great. You stop at a maple syrup place for tasting , then the skylon tower for a fabulous view of the falls. Then you can spend time at the falls or do the boat trip which we highly recommend it was great. Niagara Falls has a lot of restaurants, arcades and family stuff. Now let’s get to our driver. Melvin from vegreville while knowledgeable was the most boring host of a viator tour that we have been on and we have been on several around the world. His monotone voice for 1 1/2 hours there and back was a cure for insomnia. He brought us kicking and screaming into the 1980s with his laminated cards he brought for show and tell. He regaled us with stories of the falls and of two helicopters crashing with the same tone as he did about his excitement of seeing a wolf up close. All the while clearing his throat repeatedly on mic while he told said stories. One side note viator should say we aren’t allowed coffee on the bus as we all threw away coffees before boarding as everyone brought one for the drive at our 8 am pickup.
Our Niagra day tour was a great day out. Everything ran to time. The journey was comfortable. Our guide Brukus was helpful and friendly. We loved the horn blower boat trip and the Skylon tower. Plenty of time for lunch in the table rock restaurant.
Well worth the time and money. Allotted time was adequate for the activities. Driver Ralph was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Excellent trip. Niagara Falls was so beautiful. Thanks to Burkus for the historic tour and providing us with the information we needed.
Amazing tour guide(burkas) and amazing and comfortable travel. All the tourist spots were amazing. Thank you.
Very good day! Micko was an amazing funny guide and we had a lovely time! The boat ride is a must! I highly recommend it.
Our tour guide Micko was excellent, really thorough and super helpful with drop offs and tips. We had the very best day and felt like we had enough time to explore 🖤
It was a very pleasant and organized experience. Our driver was well-informed and funny. Highly recommend! Clean vehicle, he gave us water and cookies! Also, be on time!!!!!
A fully planned enjoyable day. Would definitely recommend it. Value for money and the driver Ralph was very knowledgeable and thorough
Very enjoyable tour our guide Mel was outstanding very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. The tour ran like clockwork.
Having read previous reviews of this tour, we booked it, with optional boat tour. Our driver, Ralph, was great and really made the organised trip worthwhile. He gave us an interesting commentary with some humour all the way down. The stops were good - other than quality of food at tourist shop we had a break at. Ralph gave a good recommendation for a lunch stop overlooking the falls and shepherded those of us on the boat tour through to go down and get on the boat. A relaxing way of making the day trip and would definitely recommend.
Fantastic, well run, experience made all the better by our wonderful, knowledgeable and friendly guide, Melvin. Recommend!
The tour guide is knowledgeable and has great advice. You only have time for boat ride and maybe time to grab a bite. I did the zipline and ran out of time.
Amazing time touring the CANADIAN side of Niagara Falls. Tour guide was amazing, Micka. Love seeing a couple of the beautiful GREAT LAKES, especially the amazing LAKE ONTARIO a the way. Perfect amount of time for this tour as well. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I recently completed a day tour to Niagara Falls and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The tour was exceptionally well organised, the bus was clean and comfortable, and our driver was outstanding. They were highly knowledgeable, provided interesting commentary throughout the day, and went above and beyond to ensure everyone was well looked after and had a great experience. Niagara Falls itself was spectacular, and the itinerary offered a perfect balance of sightseeing and free time. One tip for future travellers: bring some cash, as there are a couple of worthwhile optional stops along the way that are not included in the tour price. Highly recommended!
Our guide, Ralph, was very kind and helpful, and the timing was spot on. The maple place stop was very good, also.
Such a fun, stress free tour! We didn’t have to worry about anything & our tour guide Melvin made the experience wonderful. He was very knowledgeable in history & took care of our every needs. 10/10 recommend & worth the money.
If you want perfection, this is your tour, our guide, know everything you need to know for the first time, he had all the time perfectly match for you, if you need a ticket for any atraction that you don't buy before the trip, don't worry he got them, he gave us a welcome cookies and water, he is a great guy, and it was a great experience
I booked this tour as a solo traveler and was told I couldn't sit by myself because the tour was "full." Once on board, the bus was actually fairly empty, so this restriction felt unnecessary and left a bad first impression. The tour guide managed the group like schoolchildren, making us line up in rows and stay seated until he gave the okay to get up. On top of that, he repeatedly cleared his throat directly into the microphone throughout the tour, which was pretty distracting. On the practical side, the bus's AC wasn't working well, and there were no USB ports to charge phones, a real drawback on a full-day tour where you rely on your phone for photos and navigation. The itinerary itself had potential, but the combination of poor communication, rigid management style, and lack of basic amenities made for a disappointing experience overall.
