Boat trip was canceled last minute due to the recent time-change, and we were only told after we had already arrived on-site. The boat was the main reason why i booked this trip, so we ended up with a bunch of visits to tourist trap merch stores and 5h to walk around the falls. I request a refund for the cancelled boat.

It was a great adventure and the Falls look stunning all lit up at night with all the different colours they project onto them.
What a day yesterday! I was called by Zoom Tours yesterday morning to inform me the bus had broken down and I wouldn’t be picked up until 2:30pm. I said okay and left it at that. Shortly after that I received a phone call from my tour guide Johnny saying he’d be picking me up at 1:30pm. I told him I had just been called saying it would be 2:30pm. He told me he was my tour guide and the replacement bus he got was near my location pickup. Johnny picks me up at 1:30pm and that bus literally cut off on him while I was sitting on the bus! A quick prayer by me and patient with Johnny, the bus started back up despite the check engine light coming on and he proceeded to pick up everyone. I know people were frustrated about the delay, but what can you do, it wasn’t within Johnny’s control, he just adapted and made the adjustments! On top of the bus delay and frustrated customers, there was a lot of traffic! We got to Niagara Falls and it may have took a few hours BUT it was completely worth it! We got to take photos of Niagara Falls and look at some shops before Johnny dropped us off for the Niagara Boat Tour! That was INDESCRIBABLE. I almost did not book the tour since the boat went so close in, but ohhhh I’m glad I did! What an experience! After that, Johnny took us through Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake. We went to a landmark where it looked like a zip line was overlooking a river, we saw where the Lake split the Canadian side and the American side, got beautiful sunset pictures, saw the floral clock, the golf course with the pub, the dam, and the border! After that we went back to Clifton Hills and I ate the Sheraton Buffet. It was good, just a buffet nothing special. But it was about the outdoor patio view, and the tables Johnny got us that were right by the glass windows so we could see the falls illuminated in various colors! After dinner we walked off our meals checking out Clifton Hills and met Johnny back at the tour bus so he could take us to see the fireworks show. I love fireworks so the show was awesome to be five minutes. Then Johnny got us home in half the time it took us to get there since there was no wall to wall traffic! Johnny was quite impressive speaking to the group in their native languages (he spoke at least 4 I believe if not more so everyone will feel comfortable) very apologetic about the delay! He could’ve canceled the tour and refunded everyone’s money or rescheduled it. I’m so glad he didn’t because whose to say today (Sunday) would’ve been better either way?! It’s been raining today unlike the beautiful weather we had yesterday! I am so glad I had Johnny as my tour guide and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my weekend trip to Canada! I will most certainly be back! Yesterday reminded this high school teacher that teachers aren’t the only people that adapt and adjust when things don’t work out how you want or should! I’m thankful Johnny is passionate and knowledgeable about his career and he loves what he does. It made for a memorable and incredible experience and impression for me, despite the initial chaos of the buses breaking down! Delayed, but definitely not denied! 🇨🇦🫶🏽🎇
Would i recommend this tour ....... NO, i wish i had gone with my original idea of doing a self tour, but thought this would be easier. To start with, ignore the photo on the website of a nice white coach, we were met with a rusty, broken windowed black coach with tape over the engine warning light on the dash! Driver/Guides driving abilities left a lot to be desired, pushing the coach to it's limits at speeds of over 120km/h, whilst barely holding the steering wheel. Unscheduled stop at a Maple Syrup factory. Although it was mentioned on the website there would be a drive round some other sights, i didn't expect 2 hours stopping on road sides looking over barriers at the river below. This meant limited daylight time exploring the falls. We ended up leaving the tour at the top of the falls tour and walking back to the boat area whilst the group went off to the additional meal stop. We also paid for the behind the falls add-on but this didn't happen and when asked the driver/guide only said it wasn't on his passenger list. I am therefore requesting a refund but the company are not responding to contact. Then to top it off, the driver/guide put up a sign in the bus suggesting a tip of between 15 and 25% of your cost. Why would i tip a driver/guide £50 on top of the tour cost for doing his job!
Started with a late pick up, which wasn't at the hotel unfortunately, as this was one reason I booked for. So I had a 20 minute walk to the pick up point, a s a twenty minutes walk back at midnight. Not ideal. Driver was friendly enough, but never stopped talking the entire way and with a accent not easy to comprehend. But he was knowledgeable, it just want that interesting or relaxing. Once at Niagra we rushed to get on the boat, and half an hour later we had to be back at the bus. No day light time to really take many photos by the falls. We then piled back on the bus to be driven around seeing sights which weren't that interesting when ideally more time at the falls during the day would have been great. The maple syrup tasting was interesting but lasted about ten minutes and we swiftly left again. Once back at Niagra we had around four hours to kill until the fireworks. The main street is filled with tacky arcades and fast food places. We didn't opt for the buffet, so ate in the town. The light show was awesome and Niagra is amazing. The fireworks for pretty good, but hanging around for them wasn't really worth it and we arrived back at Toronto nearly twelve hours later. I'm not sure it was worth the money but I got to see the falls and experience the boat ride. I just wouldn't use this tour again if I was to visit Niagra. Also the bus... I'm not sure if the suspension is broken by every bump on the road felt like I'd been battered. Exceptionally uncomfortable!
Excellent trip, it covers both the fullness of the beauty of both morning and the night of Niagara waterfalls.lifetime experience and our tour guide Johnny made it amazing trip you can’t never forget. Experiencing a natural wonder this closely and elaborately was a treat at its best. Niagara by the lake village is also a must see place. And dont forget to see The aerial view from Sheraton along with the dinner must not be missed. The experience of the waterfall right from the boat underneath makes you really to understand the massiveness and why its a worlds natural all wonder. The night light show and fireworks also make the whole trip the best from Canada, and the most wanted one.
Best decision ever to go to Niagara with Zoom. I have been on many tours but this has been by far the best. The tour guide Alp was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and genuinely takes notice of all who are on the tour. I regret not using zoom tours for the other trips I had done while in Canada but will be back and everything will be booked through Zoom tours. Thanks guys.
It was a very nice experience I wish we could have spent more time at the maple syrup store and I would have liked to have seen the smallest chapel in the world that was listed. But all in all very nice.
I loved every minute of the day. Alp was a fantastic guide. My highlight was the boat trip to the falls. To be so close to the spectacular falls is worth getting wet for. The meal was brilliant, over looking the falls with an all that you can eat buffet. There's loads of choices and it's all delicious. And to end the day a fireworks display. This day trip was the highlight of my holiday to Toronto, I'd highly recommend it.
An excellent trip but we couldn't be picked up at our meeting point(our hotel) which was ok as we were informed the new meeting point was 15 mins walk away. It did take another hour at least to pick the rest of the people up. When it was time to be dropped off at the end of the day we were able to be dropped off at our hotel.
Tremendous encounter that was worthy to book and share the sweet moments with family. The fees were favorable for the 3 days in Toronto,Ontario. The culture, infrastructure, well planned and appealing sites of tours.
The details that are listed on the website are kind of confusing. The experience only works if you have the right tour driver. Thankfully, we did! AL was great!!
Friendly guide but very hard to understand his English. The boat ride was the only activity, all other was (pass by). A boring ride and rushed. (WE GO is the way to go.) our pick up time was 1:00 pm changed to 3:30 pm. Back at hotel 7:00 pm. Not 8-9 hours. Waste of money!
It's a long day with many activities and a fair amount of walking. However, you really do get the "Falls Experience". Highly recommended, and Nikola was great!
Very well organised tour , Zoom made it so easy and the guide Alp was fantastic . Very professional, very friendly , knowledgeable guy and excellent driver . Made the day so easy and enjoyable for us and gave us very clear instructions
The tour was the most friendliest. He was very informative and provided exceptional service. If I take this tour again I would request this same tour kind. His service was excellent
So unfortunately we didn't have the best experience. I felt like there were some false promises like being picked up from our hotel. We received a message a day earlier saying that due to roadworks they were unable to pick us up from the hotel and if we could meet elsewhere which wasn't very far however, we literally drove past our hotel after being picked up and there were no roadworks. When we asked on the way back if they could drop us off at the hotel as that was the original plan the bus driver said he couldn't. Unfortunately due to traffic which was no one's fault, the trip felt rushed. The bus driver did say this was a common thing on a Friday afternoon, if they know this then they shouldn't promise so many places to visit as it just causes dissappointment and stress. It would have been better to skip certain places so we would have more time in others rather than going places for 10 minutes. Some of the destinations stated there was entrance/admission included however we never went into any of the places where this was needed which caused confusion. The dinner wasn't the best tasting but the staff was lovely. The bus driver did his best to talk about facts etc however he was definitely not a tour guide and some of the information was false for example the Burj Kalifa is in Dubai not Qatar. Ths souvenir which was promised was mever given, however there was water provided which came in a bag with a picture of the niagara falls on it and mostly the name of the company. Also we were to have skip the line for the boat, however when we arrived the bus driver had to organise the tickets and we were then told to go onto the boat, it did not feel like skip the line.
Seamless booking experience and pick up was on time. It was a safe drive in a clean and well maintained vehicle. The stops were good beautiful sites, wish we had a bit more time at some of them. The boat ride was fun. If you can, include the dinner in your experience, it was good.
The afternoon/night tour was great! You get to see the Falls in both settings. Highly recommend seeing the night lights and fireworks. Our driver was excellent.
Not sure I would book another tour with Zoom tours as they decided to change the itinerary without any advice to travellers we were excited to find a tour that included the evening dinner and fireworks as well as a visit to Niagara on the Lake. Unfortunately they decided to cut the visit to Niagara on the Lake without letting people know this could have been because the tour started late and there were multiple pick ups on the way which is very annoying when you have travelled from the other side of the world. I was given a partial refund by Zoom but we would have preferred to do the tour as specified. The evening dinner is great with an amazing view of the illuminations and fireworks. Alot of pressure to tip which is also a turn off as most people will happily tip if they have a good experience. Overall a pretty good day but seemed a little rushed and disorganised.
It was an awesome adventure and saw the sites we wanted to see without driving. We had a great time!
Wonderful and informative about all the history! Long ride getting there due to traffic. Great photo ops and souvenir stops along the way. Ali, our guide, was very knowledgeable about everything Niagara and Canada’s history and had it perfectly timed to get us to both the boat ride and dinner with great views! Amazing fireworks show, and had plenty of time after dinner to have extra shopping/adventure time before the fireworks.
I was scam. They offered wifi - no wifi, bus with bathroom - not at all. We book for those couple reasons besides has cheaper ones. On the way back, driver was at 120km/hr and changing lanes. 12 lifes on his hands! This is unacceptable! And I tried to summarize, if I write all will be a book!
To start off, I chose this specific company because it claimed to have Wi-Fi and an onboard restroom—but that was a lie! If you’re looking for either of those things, don't even bother! There are cheaper options out there. Their website advertises "luxury transport," but in reality, it’s just a old minibus — nothing luxurious about it! I actually considered giving it two stars because the driver explained the history of the trip and followed the itinerary (even though spending less than an hour in Niagara-on-the-Lake is insane!). But the worst part was the return trip. Thank God there was traffic on the way there, but I could already tell he liked to cut the others cars off, didn't leave enough space for other drivers, and kept changing lanes constantly. On the way back, though, it got worse: he drove at 120 km/h the whole way, kept checking his phone for the GPS or whatever else, and—on top of that—had a "check engine" light on for God knows what reason... Seriously? He held 12 lives in his hands; it wasn't just his own life he was risking. I was sitting right behind him and kept a close eye on him the whole time. I do not recommend this company!
good experience overall and the stops.
Perfect for a one day experience. No fighting traffic, searching for parking, searching for a good restaurant - it was all laid out for us. Awesome seeing the lighted falls at night.
This was the highlight of our trip Our driver/guide Ali was the best - knowledgeable and pleasant. If you are booking this tour, include the dinner. The dinner at Fallsview Restaurant was tasty and the variety was good. Also good value for money. We got back to the drop point at the airport at the exact time stated. Highly recommend
The trip was excellent due to the driver Anthony. He was so knowledgeable about the area. He explained the different areas we passed through. He took the time to ensure we all had a wonderful time
We done the boat trip option which i would recommend to everyone. What i would say is a change of clothes and a towel is needed as you get pretty wet on it if you stay up top of the boat even with the poncho provided. Anthony was our driver who was excellent throughout and added to the day. Theres also plenty other things to do in Niagara itself so if you have the chance i would look into whats available too. A great day out.
Ali was a friendly & personable guide. He was very informative about the area telling us many fun facts & trivia on the way to the falls. It was a great time @ experience.
You can't go wrong when you see something as spectacular as Niagara Falls! Be prepared for a very long day. We were picked up at 12:30 p.m. and got back home at 1:15 a.m.! Our guide and driver were both helpful and well informed, we enjoyed visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake and of course, Niagara Falls itself both in daylight and at night when it is lit up from behind. The area surrounding the falls is extremely kitchy and commercial--fast food, wax museums, loud tourist places to go. It's very loud and garish. The buffet meal that was included was okay for a buffet. I ordered a cocktail and it was $23. Also, while the fireworks were pretty, I'm not sure it's worth staying for two hours to see.
The shops around the falls are totally a tourist trap, so eating the offered meal/buffet was the better option
We departed at 1:00 and didn't arrive at the falls until 6:15. There was a severe delay getting out of GTA which added to the drive time, but we didn't go directly to Niagra once we circled the city A little town, a tiny church, the flower clock, a whirlpool.....This is not a trip to the falls, it's a trip to the countryside on a bus with no wifi or charging outlets. My family had planned to relax and spend our day at the falls during the daylight and enjoy the colors at night. Instead it was 5 hours of breakneck driving with one hand on a microphone and the other gesturing to sights. Our driver Ali had the shuttle bus weaving in and across lanes, exceeding the speed limit at nearly all times on the way there. I was nauseated with fear, which hasn't happened before. It was then a rush to the boat ride and immediately to dinner. By then it was dark and we had 1 hour to dash towards the Canadian falls. This was a horrible experience, it felt like an incredible scam and so unsafe. I would recommend you NOT take this tour!!
tour guide says he doesn't go to Niagara on the lake which was a 45 minute excursion. The restaurant was rude and all the food was cold we felt so disrespected that we walked and just waited in the lobby for an hour. Boat ride dope every thing else felt rushed.
Johnny was the highlight of our Niagara Falls trip! He wasn’t just our driver/guide/problem solver, and entertainer all rolled into one. His knowledge of the Niagara Falls area was impressive, but what amazed us even more was his understanding of places and cultures from around the world. On top of that, Johnny has a fantastic sense of humor. He kept us laughing throughout the entire day, and the time flew by so quickly that we hardly noticed it passing. Every one of us had a wonderful time and shared countless laughs along the way. If you’re looking for someone who is knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely fun to be around, Johnny is the person to choose. He made our trip truly memorable!
We had a fantastic experience with Zoom Tours and our awesome tour guide, Garry! We selected Zoom's Niagara Falls Freedom Day Tour. PROS: Garry was on-point punctual for 7 am pick up. He was friendly, very knowledgeable and shared lots of great information along the way. His warmth and sense of humor made the trip enjoyable from start to finish. Garry cared about his passengers' comfort and always made sure everyone was having a good experience. He drove safely, and kept our Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van clean and comfortable throughout the journey. With only about 10 people in our group, the experience felt much more personal than traveling on a large tour bus. It turned out to be the perfect fit for us. On the ride home, everyone enjoyed the radio featuring favorite '80s music hits. It was well received and helped make the trip back so relaxing. Garry's professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made the trip memorable. We highly recommend Garry and would gladly travel with him again. Thank you, Garry for being a terrific guide!! CON: Typical rush hour traffic back into town. Bring a neck pillow, the ride back is the perfect opportunity to catch a power nap after a long day of fun! All the best, A & R Desouza (Florida)
Do not sit at the back of the bus because it stinks of concentrated urine. I had to deal with bad smell to and from Niagara. That trip was over an hour long
It was absolutely horrible. I had to take a taxi to my pick up because they said that I wasn’t going to be dropped off at the same pick up.. part of the things that were planned for the itinerary wasn’t done like admission to three different locations just ended up being a walk by when it said admission included and it had that amount of time that we were supposed to be there. They were also late to pick me up by 30 minutes. We also had to meet them on the other side of that pick up because of traffic. They did not even call me. I had to keep contacting them. Apparently I am going to get reimbursed for the taxi which I better get and I am also hoping to get reimbursed for the admission of the places that we only walked by because that is very unfair and it was an expensive tour!!
The bus air-conditioning did not work. We went back to base to get another bus. The airconditioning did not work properly either and this bus had NO seatbelts. We felt very unsafe. Even though the falls were magnificent we went on a bad day and there would have been close to 100,000 people there. The night experience was ruined. The tour guide was young and did not seem to have a lot of experience leading a group.
It was a nice experience. I would do it again. Kinda a tight timeline but we did get to see everything they said we would.
The driver did the best job he could with all the problem we were experienced. First the vehicle 's air-conditioning was not working and with the sunny day plus temperature over 27C, it felt like enter into a sauna room. He eventually went back to their depot to swap another vehicle. With the heavy traffic we met, we were over 2 hours behind our schedule. Also the evening buffet was disappointed too. The choices were so limited and meals were not hot/warm. My family and I were so excited before the trip started and felt it had been spoiled.
Alp was an excellent tour guide. Very helpful knowledgeable and cracked a few jokes. He drove very carefully and was on time. The tour was excellent. My only issue is because of the long drive I would prefer more leg space. Everything else was perfect.
Pay real good attention to what is are being told you because everybody doesn’t mean you well do not take anything for granted you need to ask questions
Very knowledgeable tour guide. amazing day well spent, definitely recommend. Great food options once the buffet dinner option is chosen and wonderful falls view at night
Our experience was changed from this outing as the numbers didn’t suffice on the day we had planned to go. We were offered an alternative day trip which may just have been a blessing as we got to meet Johnny, our guide. He was amazing with his knowledge and humour and I’m still flabbergasted at the number of languages he can speak. Although off season, our day was marvellous thanks to Johnny and his personality-he truly loves what he does and it shows
This is not as advertised. In winter I was informed only 1 trip from the tour guide. I was only notified 24 hours before and said not enough people which is incorrect. we booked afternoon and evening this does not run and when we booked it offered us boat clearly this does not run. We booked day trip and evening with 3 course dinner. There is no boat as it is frozen this should not be advertised as such.
It gets your there and back. Ideal for an affordable shuttle if that's what you're looking for. The ride wasn't all that comfortable and the English wasn't great but hey, it gets your there and back from Toronto.
Great Tour from start to finish, Niagara Falls is a special place to visit and Zoom tours really do it justice. Our tour guide Johnny made it a fun, enjoyable experience. The day/evening tour was a great way to see Niagara Falls, we were a small group and Johnny used the opportunity to share his knowledge and experience of the area which enhanced our overall enjoyment of the whole day. We would highly recommend Zoom.
This tour really is the best of both worlds - the falls lit up at night were amazing and we had the added bonus of the Christmas lights.
Johnny was deffinetly the hostess with mostest. He had us laughing from start to finish with his quirky sense or humor and immediately made everyone feel welcome. A nice flex that Johnny can speak 7 languages, fluently and is very knowledgeable. We enjoyed the many stops along our route to Niagra falls to take memorable photos. We enjoyed the free time to enjoy some of Clifton hill as well, nice way to break up the day and see what you want too. We are so glad we chose Zoom tours to experience Niagra Falls with.
