Niagara Falls Canada Tour: Helicopter, Boat Cruise & Journey

Do it! Experiencing the Falls from four different vantage points was well worth it. And we did the morning group so we beat all the buses! Getting it all done in a half day allowed us plenty of time to visit the town and drive to Niagra On The Lake. Only need two nights and one full day here w this tour!

We had an amazing half-day tour in Niagara Falls, ON and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. In about 5 hours, we fit in a helicopter ride, the Skylon Tower, a behind-the-falls experience on the Canadian side, and a boat tour right up to the edge of the falls. Everything was incredibly well organized, and it was such a convenience that all tickets were pre-purchased and our guide picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. A special thanks to Karan K, who was kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and offered very practical suggestions throughout the day. He made the whole experience smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Niagara Falls! Know that you will experience varied conditions for being outside in the elements, in high humidity tunnels, and windy sea mist. Although it was not a walking tour, I would count on about 4000 steps.

What a wonderful experience! Cheryl was an excellent guide—friendly, attentive, and always right there when we needed her. We never had to wonder where to go next or try to find her; she made sure everything went smoothly from beginning to end. I also really appreciated how knowledgeable she was. I had plenty of questions, and she was able to answer them all. The helicopter ride over Niagara Falls was an amazing experience, and Cheryl helped make the entire tour even more enjoyable and memorable. I would definitely recommend this experience!

We had a really great day on this tour! Our tour guide, Joe, was very knowledgeable and provided entertaining commentary between stops. Seeing the falls from land, water and air was a once in a lifetime experience. The only reason I’ve given 4 instead of 5 stars is that there were no skip-the-line tickets as advertised, which, as a disabled customer, had drawn me to this particular tour over competitors. Luckily the attractions were fairly quiet when we visited so I didn’t have to stand for too long, but something for other disabled customers to be aware of before booking.

They were 1.5 hours late. Made no attempt to contact me! They put me on hold when I tried to contact them. They then put me and the hotel on answering machine. Their back office needs fixing. That said, when Jo, the guide was called in to help, he was excellent. He apologised for his company’s failures and ensured I had a good Niagara Falls experience which included a helicopter, behind the falls, boat trip on the falls and maple syrup tasting.

Our guide Cheryl was pleasant, funny and very knowledgeable. She shared fun facts and history all throughout our tour. Cheryl was able to adjust our arrival times to help avoid crowds which kept was moving at just the right pace, which I’m sure, is not always possible but it was so nice to know our guide was trying hard to make our tour flow. This tour was the perfect combination of adventure, meeting other travelers and a wonderful guide.

Views from Helicopter/Tower were amazing and experiencing the spray from the falls up close on boat and under the falls was an experience in itself. Frank our tour guide was top class :)

Had the most amazing niagra falls experience on this trip. From pickup at the hotel to the end of the trip our guide Frank couldn't have been any better. Early start to get the helicopter trip without queuing fantastic views of Niagra from above 👌. Maple syrup tasting experience next which was great, Off to the viewing tower for an aerial view, then under the falls to experience the power of the water, then behind the falls in the tunnels, amazing! Then on the boat to get soaked sailing up to the falls. Outstanding day. The arrangements for all the aspects of this trip went seamlessly without any problem thanks to Frank. Seen and experienced the falls from every aspect and angle. Highly recommend this.

Sam is a great host and tour guide, we did the entire package helicopter, boat, behind the falls, night fly, power plant and tunnel. Best experience ever!!!

Nikola was a superb guide. There was cloud cover delaying our helicopter ride but he simply pivoted the line up of attractions so we still managed to get our flight. He was a lovely guy and very generous with his time and knowledge. Fabulous day

This was a complete disaster. My wife & I travelled from England to Canada & Niagara Falls for 2 nights and this experience was central to the trip. We booked, paid in full and agreed pick up from our hotel (Hyatt Regency) at 7.00am. As we were waiting to board our evening flight from Vancouver to Toronto (the trip was the following morning) we received an email showing the pick up address. I was fortunate to notice that this didn’t appear to be the address of our hotel, further checks revealed it was in fact a 2 hour drive away! I replied to the email and sent screen shots showing the confirmed address of our hotel, only to be told they don’t provide that service and we’d have to go to them!! This would mean leaving the hotel at 5.00am latest when we wouldn’t arrive at the hotel until 11.30pm the night before. This just wasn’t feasible. The helicopter company directed me back to Viator for any refund/ alternative. A frantic call to Viator whilst waiting to take off came up with no alternative trips or options other than a refund. We were now heading to the Falls with no trips booked for our 2 day trip. Completely unacceptable and inefficient process that ruined our trip. I was fortunate to notice the wrong address otherwise we would have been waiting for a pick up that would never arrive and may not have got any refund as we would have been a “no show”. I’ll never use Viator again.

Karn was the best guide. He was knowledgeable about the area and was the most punctual person I ever met and I really appreciated that. He was flexible and made sure we saw everything. The helicopter ride was amazing. I highly recommend this tour. Worth every penny

This experience was absolutely incredible and worth every penny! From the helicopter ride to the boat tour, my girlfriend and I had smiles on our faces the entire time. Our tour guide, Cheryl, was simply amazing. Her deep knowledge of the region truly enriched our adventure, and both we and the rest of our group were so impressed with her and the overall experience. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an unforgettable vacation!!

This is the best kind of tour and worth every penny. The guide took us to all the locations and then set us free instead of herding us around in a line like children. He also advised us which ones were worth getting photos from. All of the experiences were fantastic, the guide was friendly and knowledgeable and I would recommend to anyone.

This was the ultimate excursion! Seeing Niagara Falls by all angles was fantastic. I would absolutely do this again.

Great deal!! Our guide was very courteous and knowledgeable about the history of the area. There was also no lineups or headaches for each site we visited as he passed out our tickets for each event. I would most definitely hire him again! Tyvm!!

We were not able to do the helicopter ride due to inclement weather. We were advised that we would receive a refund which we have not yet received. This should have been refunded by Viator to our card. It’s now 6weeks and we have not received this refund

It definitely didn't seem like "skip the line" passes as it claimed. Our driver disappeared and left us sitting at the helicopter place for a half hour after our ride. It's a long tour of waiting, so definitely didn't appreciate the added 30 min. Picked up before 9am, done around 2:30, no lunch.

Amazing experience! Mani was an excellent guide who perfectly timed our experiences with almost no waiting time. Kids especially loved the heli flight- highly recommend this tour!!!!

Brilliant trip from start to finish. We were picked up on time by our driver Yohannes from the collection point and taken to Niagara to meet our guide Vanessa. Both really nice and friendly. We took the helicopter flight first, omg, absolutely fantastic! I believe it’s a must do! To see the falls from the sky was just amazing. We popped into a place to taste all things made with maple syrup! Delicious! We visited the Skylon Tower, the journey behind the falls and then onto the boat. We got a little wet but it was so good! Amazing to see. The only minor criticism would be that you do go from one to the next. It would have been nice just to have maybe 30 minutes just to stand on the street just to look at the falls and take Niagara in. We absolutely loved the trip, I’d go as far to say it was the best day trip we’ve ever done. Totally recommend!

Our tour began with the helicopter ride that gave a bird’s eye view of the Falls. Seeing it from above was incredible. Journey Behind the Falls provided a glimpse of how magnificent the falls are, but the Hornblower cruise just was indescribable! You definitely get wet and it’s worth it!! Lunch and views from the Skylon Tower was amazing. A city tour was also included.

It’s a great experience. At first there was a mixed up in the pickup location and time, but it was resolved. Heidi is a very friendly tour guide.

This was an amazing experience from start to finish. Our tour guide, Kay, was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Everything was seamless which is important to me. We got to do all the fun activities but not stress about the logistics. I highly recommend booking this tour.

Man....where do I start. It was amazing! I learned so much about Toronto and Niagara Falls. TJ was awesome. Very respectful and "patient". Manny (Munni) was amazing as well. He had an answer for every question I asked. He was also patient with the group.

My sister and I had a great experience! Our driver from Toronto (Gezim) and our tour guide at Niagara Falls (Heidi) were awesome. They were both friendly, helpful, and gave interesting facts throughout the day. The only downside of the day was there was no time to eat lunch in between events. When we booked, it said lunch was included, but we found out it was not towards the beginning of the tour. We barely had time to grab a small sandwich from Starbucks before we went to our next location. Other than that, I would highly recommend this tour. It was great to see the Falls from so many different perspectives.

Absolutely wonderful, Nikola was our guide. The experiences were wonderful, but it was a pleasure to see his smile between each destination. He was always on time, extremely friendly and had many interesting things to say about the area. Great conversation and company, and he walked us all the way inside of each destination. No waiting anywhere!

We had a great time. Our guide, Vinnie did a great job. We were not sure if we’d get to ride in the helicopter but the weather cooperated and it was a gorgeous day. We liked the convenience of being picked up at our hotel and dropped off at all of our excursions with tickets in hand. We started with the Falls and ended at a wonderful lunch at the Skylon restaurant with a revolving view of the area. The only thing is it would’ve been nice if the helicopter ride was a little bit longer. We would definitely recommend this package.

Great trip, be prepared to get very wet both behind the falls and on the boat ride. You get soaked, but the views were awesome. Great views from the helicopter ride.

This was a bucket list trip ticked off. Was as wonderful experience . Couldn’t fault our driver or our tour guide Sam, he went out of his way several times to try and get us up in the air in the helicopter, he succeeded!

This was an amazing experience. And Frank was an excellent tour guide. He reached out the day before to make sure everything was scheduled. His attention to detail was fantastic. But the tour experience was over the top. Started the day by myself in the helicopter. Yes, it was a pretty short excursion, but I did not feel cheated. Afterward, we picked up 6 others from Italy and did the Journey Behind the Falls. That was pretty cool. You get super close to the falls. Then we did the boat tour. It was just like you see in all of the videos online. We got right up to the edge of the falls. It was amazingly close. If you want to be in the front, you are going to get wet. I honestly thought it was just those 3 activities, but then we went to the top of the Skylon Tower. The works package included lunch at the revolving restaurant up there, which I assumed was going to be a sandwich and some chips. I couldn’t believe I got a steak, made to order, with baked potato and veggies. And a dessert. An overall amazing experience. Frank took me back to my hotel, but included a couple of extra stops to see other sites. I could not have been more pleased with this tour package. Totally worth every cent. Thanks Frank!!!

The helicopter ride, the journey behind the falls, the lunch at the Skylon, and the boat ride were all amazing. The fast track guide Cheryl made everything possible, her story telling made everyone feel at easy. She was persistent and passionate about "her" going first and no one, and I do mean no one cutting us off. Thanks for the memorable time. I just wish she could have come along on everything. Great way to see Niagara Falls! We went from the water, to the air, to behind the falls on the ground to a lovely lunch at Skylon tower. Our guide, Heidi was very friendly and always looking forward to make the trip as comfortable as possible for us. The true test of a company is when something is wrong and this company handled it very well. We arrived in Niagara before Hornblower cruises started their season of cruising, and we were notified by the company with an alternative. Once we were here, the boating company on the American side had started so they quickly switched us to that tour. We were here at a perfect time with sunshine and very few crowds. We were seamlessly moved from one activity to the next and dropped right front of each site. I highly recommend this tour and Heidi our guide.

Our guide and her assistant were great. Each ‘adventure’ was wonderful. It was relaxing to be transported to each adventure.

Heidi the tour guide was excellent, and tour was informative and well thought out, only challenge was the other tour participants who were constantly late.

We really enjoy having Cheryl. She was very personable and made sure we got to do all of our activities even though the weather looked like it might turn. I recommend this experience and would absolutely do this experience again.

Would recommend this tour for sure. I went in March 2026 and was very lucky to fly despite the bad weather. Frank is an absolute legend who took the time to answer any questions I had, went to get tickets and everything ready so that the tour was seamless. The helicopter despite my initial fears was very safe, providing amazing views of the falls and surrounding areas. Although it was too cold to do the boat tour, going under the waterfall and the interactive experience was definitely not disappointing, followed by a lovely lunch up the tower with a revolving restaurant which again provided more amazing views but I had already been spolied by being in the helicopter. Anyone reading this, do not hesitate to book it up just be aware that beginning of the year it will be cold and helicopter ride may not be guaranteed so best to wait until milder times. If Frank reads this message, you’re an absolute legend mate and it was a pleasure to have you as the guide to navigate to each area! 10/10!
