We took the tour to Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake, and it was simply unforgettable! The scenery is breathtaking and the itinerary is very well-balanced, but the highlight of our trip was, without a doubt, our guide, Roger. He deserves special recognition for being extremely organized and competent, taking care of every single detail so that everything went perfectly and stress-free. On top of his outstanding professionalism, Roger is incredibly fun, which made the journey lighthearted, full of good laughs and packed with fascinating facts about the region. I highly recommend this tour, and if you get the chance, definitely go with Roger. A perfect 10/10! I highly recommend this tour, and if you get the chance, definitely go with Roger. A perfect 10/10!

Optional add-on attraction: The Niagara City Boat Cruise is one of the most exciting and immersive ways to experience the majestic Niagara Falls. As you board the boat, you’ll be taken on an unforgettable journey to the base of the falls, offering an unparalleled, up-close view of one of the world’s most famous natural wonders. The cruise takes you right up to the thunderous Horseshoe Falls, where you can feel the mist on your face and hear the roar of the water as it cascades down into the river below. As the boat navigates through the mist, you’ll also see the American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls, which offer their own stunning views from the water. Please note that the boat is operating only during the summer/fall months (usually from May to November). If the boat is not operating, it will be substituted with Journey Behind the Falls experience.
Upon arrival in Niagara, catch a first glimpse of the majestic Falls! Your accredited guide will show you the three thundering shoots, and offer time for photos!
As we drive past Fort George, you’ll be viewing a key historic military site from the War of 1812. This national historic site is where the British forces, along with their allies, made a stand against the American invasion of Upper Canada. The fort was originally built in 1802 and served as a crucial defensive position during the war. While we won't be stopping, the Fort George National Historic Site offers a glimpse into Canada’s military history, with its well-preserved barracks, cannons, and fortifications. The site also offers scenic views of the Niagara River and is a popular spot for those interested in the history of the conflict that helped shape Canada’s future.
Experience one of Canada’s most iconic flavors with a complimentary maple syrup tasting at a charming local stop. Learn about the history and process of maple syrup production, from tapping the trees to bottling the liquid gold. Sample a variety of syrups and maple-infused treats, and discover the differences between light, amber, and dark grades. It's a sweet and interactive experience perfect for all ages—and a chance to bring home a delicious Canadian souvenir!
Nestled along the scenic Niagara Parkway, the Floral Clock is one of Niagara Parks’ most beloved and photographed landmarks. This unique horticultural timepiece features a vibrant display made up of over 16,000 seasonal flowers and plants, which are meticulously arranged to create a beautiful and ever-changing design. The clock face spans 40 feet in diameter and is fully functional, with hands that actually tell time.
During your 1-hour free time in Niagara-on-the-Lake, you’ll experience the charm and beauty of one of Ontario’s most picturesque towns. Known for its historic significance, stunning 19th-century architecture, and quaint atmosphere, Niagara-on-the-Lake offers visitors a delightful escape. Take a leisurely stroll along the tree-lined streets, where you’ll pass well-preserved heritage buildings, boutique shops, and art galleries showcasing local talent. The town is famous for its Victorian-style architecture, and as you walk, you’ll be transported back in time, making it feel like a step into history. If you’re a wine enthusiast, this is also a great opportunity to explore the local vineyards and wineries. While your time may be short, you can pop into one of the wine-tasting rooms or browse the local wine shops for a bottle of Niagara’s finest wines.
Upon completion of your tour, we bring you back to Toronto on our comfortable vehicle. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the smooth drive home with your professional driver.

Very well looked after by Roger. He made sure everyone enjoyed themselves and was great fun. Good time keeping too.
A great way to get to Niagara Falls and the village on the lake. Would have preferred more time at the lake rather than the falls.
Luis was a great tour guide, we loved all the informational commentary! The tour was very well planned and all the spots we hit were incredible. Very happy with this tour and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to book!
Friendly guide and good driver. Yes, you can drive yourself or take transit, but this is so much easier, and maybe even a little bit more fun.
Great value for money. Would highly recommend including lunch as part of the day - it was delicious! Lewis (tour guide) was friendly, helpful and informative, as was Samir, the driver. Loved Niagara Falls, but also the added extras of maple syrup tasting and a browse around the town of Niagara on the Lake. Thank you!
It was a very nice experience. Our Travel Guide and Driver were friendly, informative and concise with their instructions. The narration along the route was interesting and humorous, well researched, and provided the riders with information that enhanced the experience. Everything was on time.
Super easy to board, nice quiet drive out there and back with very little interruption from guide but he still pointed out interesting things. Falls were great, on the boat you can get as wet as you want it still stay dry. The lunch option was fantastic! Great way to see the falls from a Birds Eye view. Plenty of time for ice wine at Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Excellent tour. Very well organised with a interesting information shared by the guide. We would have liked more time in Niagara by the Lake. We only had 1 hour and once you have walked into town from the bus park it was not long enough. That was the only negative.
If the travel itinerary takes in Niagra on the Lake take into account you have less than the allotted one hour because you have to allow supposedly 10min each way so actually less than an hour and around 15minutes depending on your mobility particularly seniors. Just beware of that. Its a beautiful town full of shops to explore but its very popular and you don't get time to explore. Maybe after doing Niagra Falls cut out the syrup tasting. Just my take on the trip and not meant to offend. We did enjoy it and thought the staff were very professional at all times and we thank.
The tour gives several opportunities including boat or no. The visit of Niagara-on-the lake was a wonderful end of the day.
It was a good experiencia en general. They were very puntual with the time and locations. The Guide tourist was very funny and good explaining where we was going to go, the history, ect. For me, the stop at Niagara on the Lake, was short (around one hora) and this was a good place to walk and have a nice coffee with pastries, gelato, buy souvenirs, etc.
We had an awesome time visiting Niagara Falls! Mani was a great tour guide and provided us with a timely and educational visit. The falls were amazing and being able to stop at other various attractions such as Niagara on the Lake was super special. It is a long day but so worth it! Thank you.
Great experience overall. I wanted to visit Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake on the same day without the hassle of doing it all myself, and this tour was perfect for me. Our guide Alex was nice and knowledgeable, and our driver gave us a safe and comfortable journey.
A superb experience, with Lisa as driver. Felt comfortable with her speed & efficiency behind the wheel. Luis' commentary on all the sights & facts was excellent & we learned so much about the area. Many kudos to him for going out of his way, after the tour, helping us to get where we needed to go. We feel we met a new friend!!!
Well done tour to the falls. Our driver Robbert was funny, knowledgeable and made the trip fun. Would book again.
Beauty is all around Niagara Falls. The tour guide is very knowledgeable as well as the driver. They made the ride pleasurable.
It was a wonderful experience. Narrated drive through Toronto and outlying suburbs along Lake Ontario. Our tour guide was friendly, funny, and knowledgeable and explained much about the cities and rivers and lakes and surrounding areas. Niagara Falls was outstanding. We did not go on the boat ride since my wife gets motion sickness radio but the walk along the top was still amazing and got lots of good photos and video. The trip back was nice with a few stops, one in Niagara on Lake, a charming beautiful little town we loved. Our driver was outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. I would recommend to others. The other good thing is not needing to drive or find parking or deal with traffic as it was very busy and too much traffic.
We had a great experience! Our guide Crystal made the day so enjoyable! I would highly recommend this tour.
An excellent, well organised and informative trip. Great value for money. The guide and driver were friendly, helpful and added to the experience.
This was the way to go. So easy and well organized. Alex, our Guide was wonderful , friendly and very helpful.
We truly had a great experience with Viator. It was well organized and the time provided on every stop was pretty adequate. We didn’t had to rush around which was pretty amazing! Our tour guide, Christal was super sweet, helpful, hilarious and kind. We truly enjoyed this trip!
Route was good in itself, but as it was a busy travel day we ended up on a backup bus. Absolutely no legroom, broken seats, no sockets and poor ac. The return trip was quite painful while the bus crawls for over 2.5 hours in the evening rush hour. At least there was a working bathroom in the coach.
Fantastic full day out, our guide Crystal and driver Hugho were fabulous. Very funny and knowledgeable. The tour is timed to perfection, we loved the stop for Maple Syrup and chocolate tasting. The traffic back into Toronto is horrendous but just gave us some snooze time after great day out.
Make sure you wear waterproof shoes. Expect to get wet when on the boat! Respect the return-to-bus times the tour operators gives you. The bus is very punctual - if they say they are going to leave at a specific time, that is when they leave - not a minute later.
Amazing experience! Well coordinated and organized! Alex was great keeping us informed and on time! Really enjoyed this experience!
The weather was horrendous due to a storm and consequently ruined the whole experience for us
A long day but worth every penny. The falls are amazing and the maple syrup tasting was great, a little more time is maybe needed but was still good. Niagara on the Lake very pretty but again maybe just a little more time dependant on what you want to do. We had time to walk into the town and grab a quick coffee before having to be back. If you want to spend time looking around the quaint little shops would definitely need more time.
Falls are cool, but Niagara on the lake is lovely too. If you come to Toronto it is a must, there is a theme park if you have kids.
The activity was okay but I’d never use Viator again to book any of my excursions. Terrible customer service and not helpful at all when issues come up. Do yourself a favor and use a different service to book!
It’s a really good day out but a very short time ( one hour) at Niagara on the Lake which is a bit of a walk from the coach park.
Bring water , you can also bring a small travel bag with personal items they lock the bus up at the stops so u can just leave it without worrying. The outlet for plugging in your charger didn’t work on the bus so make sure your phone is charged , or bring a battery back up.
Excellent experience. We had the best tour guide, Louis, and the best driver, Hugo. Thank you so much for the great day!
Peter is a fantastic host. He kept us informed throughout the journey but also recognised our need for some quiet time. He was clear with his instructions on where to meet and what time and is genuinely a lovely person. He loves Canada and shared so many extra details. I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a day trip to the falls and surrounding area.
We went with Grayline and their buses have washrooms. Alex the guide and Lisa the driver were both very professional and knowledgeable. A couple different views of the falls, time to wander a bit and have a bite to eat if desired. The stop at Niagra on the Lake could have been longer - what a beautiful place. I would absolutely recommend this tour.
The same than me We have an idea above the full but not the full view The experience overcomes our expectations
Great guide, fantastic stops at Niagara on the Lake and the falls were amazing. Interesting maple tasting experience. Overall a brilliant experience
The tour ran on time. The company used a very comfortable and large bus with a restroom. Safe driver
This experience was nothing short of amazing. Our guide Mr. Luis and driver Anthony were very friendly and accommodating. Mr Luis was very informative and the information he provided was very interesting and informative. They are really two gems at your company. I have praised the experience to other colleagues who are visiting Canada soon to book via Viator and hopefully (if they're lucky) they'll get Luis and Anthony.
It is only a trp there and back but excellent commentary. Maple tasting great and would have liked a little longer.
The guide was wonderful but the tour itself was horrible. Let me clarify...the time around the falls was wonderful but then we were taken to a place for "maple syrup" tasting. It was in a small strip mall and nothing more than a stop to shop. We were then dropped off to go get something to eat and then off to Niagra on the Lake. That would have been interesting I suppose to someone who want to shop. For me, the trip was not worth the money or time. I'd recommend that Grayline drop the syrup and lakes stop...replace it with a tour of the power plant (and seeing the falls from there). As my wife and I care little about the "town time" at Niagra On The Lakes, we (and some others) wanted to stay on the bus. We were told that was impossible.
I had a blast during this day trip! Luis' explanations were very interesting and authentic, and he had an open ear and informative answer to any of our questions. He also provided great recommendations on what to do at every stop and in Toronto in general. Hugo was a great driver and moved us around safely. Also, this tour is one of the few that offer a trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake, and this was definitely one of the highlights of the day! I really enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it :)
Great day trip. Wonderful hosts Alex and driver Sameer. Amazing Falls misty boat ride. Beautiful Fall colours and afternoon at Niagara on the Lake.
Great hospitality by Alex and bus pilot. They have all information and very respectful. Looking to board again soon.
We had a lot of fun on this tour! We were able to see and do so much. The guide was very informative, and we didn’t have to wait for anything. The falls were amazing, and the buffet lunch was very good. We loved the stop at Niagara on the Lake. Wish we had more time there. There was so much to see and do!
A memorable day trip from Toronto to Niagara Falls and - N.on-the-lake. Our guide Alex and driver Lisa were able to leave and arrive exactly on time in each location - congrats to them! We would have appreciated half an hour more in Niagara on the Lake. And replacing the visit to a winery and wine tasting by maple syrup tasting was disappointing - wine tasting was in the description so you should change it to correspond to the actual itinerary.
Our tour guide Louis was pleasant and very informative. Pete, our driver, got us there and back safely. Book the tour without the lunch & boat option because you can decide when you get there if you want to do the boat trip or not. There are plenty of lunch options.
The bus driver and guide were great and we did a zip line which was awesome We want to know more about other avenues to travel from that area to other parts around niagara
Great option to explore Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake. Well organized, on time, clean bus, great driver and guide.
It was great day. Alex, our guide, was so knowledgeable and didn't talk too much so plenty of time to chat also. Sameer was a great driver. Both so helpful. Niagara was amazing.
