Itinerary
Your first stop will be a view of the magnificent Niagara Falls. Where every year millions of visitors stand close to the thundering water rushing over the brink of the Horseshoe Falls! Not only is Table Rock right at the Falls itself, but there's plenty to do once you get there. You will be treated with an up-close view of the Horseshoe Falls and the American Falls from the Table Rock welcoming center for the best selfies and family pictures.
Niagara-on-the-Lake’s Heritage District offers beautiful shopping, where our visitors are often found strolling. Revisit the glamour of the 1920’s and 30’s and find your perfect hat at Beau Chapeau. Canada’s oldest year-round holiday emporium.
Scenic picture stop at Whirlpool Aerocar. The Whirlpool Aero car was designed by a Spanish engineer, Leonardo Torres Quevedo and has been in operation since 1916. The cable car is suspended from six sturdy cables and offers a wonderful view of the Niagara Whirlpool which is formed at the end of the rapids where the gorge turns abruptly counterclockwise and the river escapes through the narrowest channel in the gorge. High above the racing Niagara River, you'll be transported through the air in an antique cable car. Far below, the torrent of water abruptly changes direction and creates one of the world’s most mesmerizing natural phenomenon – the Niagara Whirlpool. Sometimes frightening and always unforgettable!
Journey Behind the Falls is a year-round attraction that offers an unique view of the Falls from below and behind. Visitors descend 150 ft. by elevator, where a short tunnel (150 ft.) gives access to two outdoor observation decks and two portals located directly behind the Falls. At Journey Behind the Falls, you`ll experience the awesome spectacle of one-fifth of the world’s fresh water crashing down to the basin below. During summer daylight hours, over 2,800 cubic meters of water thunders over the brink every second, travelling 65 kilometers per hour! Your Journey Behind the Falls visit will take 30 to 45 minutes and in the spring and summer months, you`ll receive a free souvenir biodegradable rain poncho as protection from the mist of the Falls. Elevators descend 150 feet through bedrock to tunnels that lead and to the Cataract Portal and the Great Falls Portal which is one third of the way behind the massive sheet of water. Then you walk on to the Upper and Lower Observation Decks at the very foot of the Falls. Posters of information are a great resource of information about the history and evolution of the hallways you walk through. Journey Behind the Falls is an iconic Niagara Falls experience, make sure you take a waterproof camera. (tickets available to purchase)
The 20-minute Voyage to the Falls boat tour that gets you as close as possible to the magnificent Niagara Falls. Journey past the American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and into the heart of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls aboard Hornblower Niagara Cruises. This legendary boat tour takes place aboard a state-of-the-art Hornblower catamaran.

Our guide, Alp, was absolutely the best. He was so knowledgeable about the Falls and all the surrounding area. It was a pleasure to have him as our guide. He made sure that we got to see everything that we wanted including the fireworks over the falls at night. If you can book a tour with Alp you won’t be disappointed!
An excellent day out tailored to our requirements. Helped by the fact there were few queues on the day. Nik our driver was excellent and very accommodating.
We had a wonderful day visiting Niagara Falls. Our guide, Alps was knowledgeable and suggested great activities that made our visit memorable. We were able to enjoy the falls from a helicopter ride, through a pleasant stroll and by boat. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Highly recommend!
Zoom Tours heavily markets their private Niagara Falls tour as a "fully customizable" experience with "no fixed group schedule," promising that you can "design your route." Unfortunately, our experience proved that their marketing is entirely misleading. Zoom Tours simply runs their mass-market bus itinerary in a sedan, and their management sets their drivers up to fail. When we asked to adjust the pacing, our driver was put in the uncomfortable position of explaining that "his boss" dictated the itinerary, making it clear that management prioritizes strict corporate compliance over the bespoke experience they advertise. The Illusion of Customization: The Lunch Delay: We purchased the lunch buffet add-on, but instead of dining on our own schedule, we were instructed to just walk around town and kill time until 12:30. Why? Because that is when the venue accepts the mass tour groups. We were completely tethered to the bus schedule. Fighting for our Schedule: Even though the website promises flexibility, our driver actively tried to dissuade us from starting the boat cruise early. We had to insist to get our way on our own "private" tour. Rushed Stops: The corporate itinerary allocated 15 minutes to "explore" Niagara-on-the-Lake. This is barely enough time to exit the vehicle, completely destroying the relaxed pace expected of a private tour, so we declined the stop entirely. Dispatch & Fleet Failures: Unprepared: Management failed to provide our driver with basic client details. Dispatch sent him out knowing only a headcount, and after eight hours in the car together, the lack of corporate preparation meant our driver still did not seem to know our names. Management also failed to ensure the vehicle was fueled before the tour began, forcing an awkward mid-tour gas stop. Subpar Amenities: While complimentary water was provided, the company failed to provide a vehicle with basic premium standards like Wi-Fi. There was no protocol for cabin ambiance, leaving us sitting in silence without music or the option to connect a phone. Lack of Tour Structure: The company clearly does not equip its drivers with a structured framework for commentary. I had to initiate the conversation to request regional history, which ended up being a 50/50 split of facts and personal observations. Inadequate Training & Routing: Zoom Tours clearly does not train their staff on the specific vehicles they are assigned. Our driver was so unfamiliar with the vehicle's functions that he had to roll down the windows at freeway speeds to clear foggy glass instead of using the climate control. Rather than training drivers on optimized local routes, the company relies on standard GPS mapping that routed us through residential side streets instead of main thoroughfares. This led to a rough ride as the driver was forced to navigate unexpected speed bumps along the backroads. If you want a bespoke, flexible, and hospitable private experience, look elsewhere. Zoom Tours is selling a premium illusion, but their management policies actively prevent their staff from delivering anything more than a rigid bus route in a smaller car.
Tom was fantastic with lots of local knowledge. Overall wouldn’t miss this trip if visiting Niagara. The experience in the tunnels behind the fall was really great but expect to get wet in the tunnels, viewing platform and especially when on the boat. We were picked up from our hotel at 9.35am and didn’t return until nearly 3pm with a good lunch included. Highly recommended
We had an excellent experience with Zoom Tours on our business group trip to Niagara Falls in April 2026. The weather couldn’t have been better—a beautiful sunny day that made the whole trip even more memorable. A special thanks goes to our driver and guide, Johnny, who was absolutely outstanding. He was in top form from start to finish—knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly very passionate about what he does. Throughout the drive, he shared a wealth of interesting and relevant information, making the journey just as enjoyable as the destination. Johnny also made sure we saw all the best spots and handled everything seamlessly. He is clearly very well connected and helped us move smoothly through all checkpoints, including Behind the Falls and the Skylon Tower and restaurant experience. Everything felt effortless thanks to his professionalism and planning. What really stood out was Johnny’s dedication to ensuring his guests have a great and comfortable experience. He goes above and beyond, and it truly shows. We give Johnny and Zoom Tours our very highest recommendations!
I had multiple questions and asks. Extremely responsive and accommodating company. Once we were ready to book, the company didn’t miss a beat! Our driver, Johnny, was just as amazing. He took good care of us and personalized everything for us. Super comical and had us laughing all day. If you want to get your moneys worth and feel valued as a customer, I highly recommend Zoom tours and Johnny!
Amazing tour. Amazing tour guide Alp. Alp was flexible and knowledgeable. Perfect stops and time to take in all the sights we wanted to see. Easy hotel pickup and drop off in a very comfortable van that sat us 4 easily with room for others if we needed. The private aspect. Was the best as it was only our family and see were able to do what we wanted to see. Excellent day, tour and thank you Alp!
One perfect day in Niagara falls with Airline and our guide Farwun. The weather was perfect. During our travel day we visited and other places.
Our tour guide, Patrick, was fantastic. He was very accommodating, easy going, and extremely well informed. The transaction from start to finish was seamless. We had a great time at the Falls, on the boat, walking Clifton Hills, and on the private bus en route and back. We will use this company again, for sure!
I went on the Day Tour to Niagara Falls that included sightseeing and the boat trip. Overall, the trip was excellent, and our driver and tour guide, Dwayne, was fantastic (if you’re reading this Zoom Tours, then give him a promotion!). I have to say I was a bit nervous after reading the small number of negative reviews on here, but honestly, I can’t fault the trip. The only minor issue was that we were not collected from our hotel of choice, and instead asked to meet downtown at another hotel. This wasn’t a huge issue for me personally, and is totally understandable given the need to balance the needs of the schedule, but this could perhaps be an issue for others. Other than that, the day went really smoothly, and I really enjoyed Dwayne’s excellent commentary throughout the day on the social history and geography of the region. On arrival in Niagara we were on the boat within minutes, and then we had 90 mins after that to explore the area before heading off on the bus to a series of other interesting stops. Dwayne also went above and beyond at Niagara on the Lake, risking the wrath of local residents and traffic control to take us direct into the centre of the town so that we could enjoy an extra 30 minutes of sight-seeing and ice creams. The circling community transport minibus (official town transport) made our military-style fly-by extraction onto our minibus from the main street very exciting. Finally, despite some pretty awful traffic, we arrived back in Toronto by 5:30. One of the best tours I’ve ever been on – I would highly recommend it.
Wonderful experience to visit Niagara-on-the Lake beautiful town and the Niagara Falls with my family. Our tour guide Dwayne was very friendly and explained everything in details thorough out our entire journey. It’s a life time experience.
This was a fantastic experience. We were able to cater our trip since we booked it for just two of us, and our tour guide made sure we saw what we needed to see, provided so much information, and was a delight to speak with. He even took us to sample some maple syrup and we had lunch at the table rock house restaurant which overlooks the falls. Price included boat ticket to see the falls. Best part of our trip to Toronto.
We have had a great day-tour. Very relaxed. Comfortable ride and nice driver. Stops have been adjusted as per our wish.
Worth the money. No traipsing round other hotels to pick up and drop off passengers; we were able to spend as long as we wanted at each location so no hanging around waiting for others. Saw the falls from every angle. Very comfortable vehicle, good driver/guide.
Karen was a great tour guide/driver! She was so friendly, and knowledgable, and made the day much more special for us all. And working through Viator was so great - they were incredibly responsive!
What a memorable day! Dwayne was so enthusiastic and very knowledgeable able the Niagara region & Toronto. We really learned a lot and were able to visit so many attractions under his guidance. Dwayne was completely accommodating to our needs & we had a really great day.
Great knowledgeable tour guide with everything sorted for you. Stopping where you want and choosing how long to spend at each place.
A excellent tour with a great guide. Had a fantastic time. Would do again. Everything was so well organised.
Allie was awesome. He was knowledgeable, engaging and accommodating. He clearly loves travel. We all enjoyed our tour enormously. We felt like we were traveling with a local friend!
Loved it all. Raz was a warm and relaxed guide. Knowledgeable and full of ideas to add to our Canada trip. Smoothly organised tickets. Would throughly recommend
We booked a private tour to Niagara Falls and got Fabio as our driver. Fabio had an in-depth knowledge of the area as well as of its history, so the entire tour was engaging and interesting. Of course the sites and attractions were amazing as well! All in all we were completely happy and satisfied with the entire experience!
Overall a good experience. Fabio our driver was on time and knowledgeable of the areas, sites, history etc. Two points that are worth calling out as issues: 1/ we agreed to do the "Journey through the falls" experience. While we knew the cost would be extra, we were disappointed to learn that Fabio went ahead and got the tickets for us and that we will have to reimburse him in cash. We realized after that he overcharged us by 20$ vs the public rates. 2/ the tour description clearly says that there is Entry/Admission to a Winery. When asked which winery we would be visiting and doing the tasting at, Fabio said that they stopped doing these as part of the tour since the wineries started charging $10 for the tasting. Then what's the point of saying that the admission is included if it has no value and the driver actually discourage you from doing this aspect of the tour.
Niagara Falls was beautiful. The area around the falls was fun to explore. Niagara on the Lake looked like a Hallmark movie!
Enjoyed an amazing day with our driver. Ride was smooth and very good. Our driver was friendly and warm . Started out at 10. 30 am we were back by 6 pm with joy
Tudy gave us a wonderful tour of the Niagara region. We were able to see all the sights on our list with plenty of cushion time to accommodate our group ranging in age from 4 to 70. He was patient, informative, and truly the expert you need for that tour. Tudy is a terrific guide who is happy to share his expertise with his groups.
Alex picked our family of 5 up from the hotel on time and was an excellent guide and companion for our late afternoon trip to Niagara. It felt like doing the tour with an old friend. He was knowledge , had the perfect balance of timing to enable us enjoy our stops and keeping us on time for our late cruise on the river. The kids loved him and called him Uncle at the end of the trip. We had a baby with us and having a private comfortable tour was essential to keep her calm past her bedtime. We highly recommend this though it did not come cheap but at the end it was worth it.
The whole family had a terrific day in and around Niagara Falls. The falls were the highlight however the winery visit and smallest church in the world were also fun. The tour was well organised and gave plenty of time to explore on our own. One small disappointment was not getting the ride on the boat to the falls. This could have been explained more fully at time of booking. However a good experience for the whole group.
We were celebrating a 60th birthday. Booked this tour last minute when other plans fell through. Guess things happen for a reason - this was an awesome day. Completely flexible we could do what we wanted to do at our own pace. Gary was a great guide - very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend!
Our driver Alex was delightful! He was on early to pick us up from the hotel and he was a great travel. When we wanted to make changes to his normal route, he was flexible and accommodating. Alex gave us honest reviews and suggestions that we listened to which only made our tour even better! Alex became a new member of our family and I would recommend him and the Zoom Private Tours to anyone!
Alex picked us up just in time in the Morning Right in Front of our Hotel. He asked and listened carefully on our expectations and wishes for the day tour to the Niagara falls. As a Save driver he explained us a lot of the surroundings on our way to Niagara at the lake where we had our First stop. With some good hints he led us to the points of interest in this charming little town and so the Trip went further on. Alex was the Guide who not just completed his job but showed us the places off the main tourist attractions which gave us the best views of the must sees. He took care about minimizing any kind of waiting time at the Heliport, the boat trip, brought us to a place for a good lunch break, etc. In summary, we are very happy and exited with his way and attitude of treating us as customers and almost friends - definitly a five star rating.
The large Sprinter Van was very cosy and comfortable with big windows to see all the sights on the way. Our tour guide Ameer was a seasoned tour guide who was very friendly and made sure we were comfortable through out the journey. His knowledge was vast and was giving interesting information of all the sights along the way. Best of all, he knew the best spots for all the attractions and even though there were many traffic delays, he knew alternate routes and made sure we got through traffic faster than normal. The helicopter ride around Niagara falls was the highlight of the trip! The winetasting stop was also excellent, one of the tastiest wines i have ever tried.Would recommend him again to anyone going for the first time, and even to those who have been before. I was with my family but if i got the chance to go with friends i would definately call him again to take us! all in all, an excellent day out!
A private tour is the most relaxing way to see Niagara. You set your own pace and see the things that you want to see. The standard tour, for example, involves a stop at a winery. Having seen many wineries in my time, that visit was less interesting to me than spending more time at the Falls themselves, and at Niagara by the Lake. So, we gave the winery (and the floral clock) the go-by, and spend moe time where I wanted. We also stopped to take pictures or to walk about when I wanted, not when the itinerary dictated. So, this is a great way to see Niagara - though considerably more expensive than a group tour.
Fabio was a fabulous tour guide. He was our private guide for the Niagara Falls Tour. The tour started with a hotel pickup at our specified time and ended at St. Lawrence Market, per our request. He’s extremely knowledgeable and very personable. The reason this tour didn’t get five stars was the vehicle we were in was pretty run down. The interior was dirty and smelled of smoke. Good thing Fabio was wonderful, otherwise it would have been a miserable long ride in a smoky car!
Went on a private tour as a four and asked for a larger vehicle, Fabio our guide didn't mess about and arrived promptly on time with a 14 seater mini van. Fabio is extremely knowledgeable and willingly gave all the information about the sites we visited. It seemed that he was known by everyone & they all said what a good guy he is, they weren't wrong. It was the last day the boat was running, so were lucky to get up close to the falls. We also went on a private helicopter trip which Fabio arranged for us, & saw many other interesting sites which made the whole trip very enjoyable.

Awesome experience. Driver/guide made the day go so smooth and transportation was top notch.
Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely amazing trip. Ask for crystal if you get the chance. Her knowledge of all things Canadian is phenomenal. Nothing is too much trouble.

Garry notre guide est très professionnel. Je le recommande fortement. Nous avons pu effectuer le circuit prévu et rentrer avant 19h00 à l’hôtel.
They are very flexible in all your wishes. We were picked up by a friendly driver (forgot name) in a neat suburban. You can design the day however you want. The Hornblower boat along the falls is included. You can decide where you want to have lunch. Most people go to lunch at the Sheraton buffet, we went to the Hard Rock cafe. On the way back another route driven along the river towards Niagara on the lake. Beautiful give up! Then made a stop at a winery. Very nice tour, everything is relaxed, no hurry, you will be picked up and dropped off at your hotel. Definitely worth it if you stay in Toronto for a few days.
