Hornblower Boat And Walking Tour Of Niagara Falls

Walking tour for approximately an hour along the public walkway that parallels the falls. Guide provided information and history about the area. This was followed by a 20 minute boat tour.

Our guide, Patrick, gave us a personalized tour that he catered to our needs and questions. Patrick was an excellent and knowledgeable guide providing historical details that we would have known about otherwise. At end of tour, he quickly and easily navigated us to our Niagara City Hornblower boat experience as well as providing tips to get the most out of the ride.

The tour was extremely informative, and our guide, Patrick, was AMAZING! 10/10 recommend! Will use again.

This was a great small group tour. It gave you a lot of information in a short amount of time. Our tour guide Patrick was nothing short of AMAZING! He was engaging, funny and even gave us things to do around the area.

Let’s get this out of the way - Patrick our guide was absolutely lovely. But $200 to walk us to along the the river to the boat tour was absolutely ridiculous. The total was $350 for 3 of us, but 3 tickets for the Horn Blower would have been $50 each so $150. We got a few stories and laughs and good dinner recommendations but SAVE your money!

Once upon a time, a group of 20 ladies from Bonita Springs, Florida, decided to take a trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada. We were fortunate enough to discover You Choose Niagara, and from our very first interaction, we knew we had found something special. Lyndsey, Patrick, and Greg were among the best tour guides we have ever encountered. Managing a group of 20 women is no small task, yet they kept us engaged, informed, entertained, and most importantly, on schedule throughout our trip. They patiently answered all of our questions, even the silly ones, and made sure we experienced the very best that Niagara Falls and the surrounding area had to offer. Their professionalism, friendliness, organization, and extensive local knowledge truly set them apart. Not only did they provide exceptional tours, but they also shared fantastic recommendations for restaurants, shopping, wineries, and other local activities that enhanced our entire experience. One moment that stood out was when Greg went above and beyond to help one of the ladies in our group. He personally drove back to a winery to resolve an issue so we could continue our tour without disrupting our schedule. That level of customer service is rare and speaks volumes about the care and dedication of this team. By the end of our trip, we realized that we enjoyed spending time with Lyndsey, Patrick, and Greg just as much as we enjoyed exploring Niagara-on-the-Lake itself. They helped create memories that will last a lifetime, and we cannot recommend You Choose Niagara highly enough. Thank you for making our girls' trip so memorable!

Lindsey was an amazing tour guide! She tailored a two day package for us to see the falls on a walking tour and a boat tour and then added a tour of three local wineries. Everything about her tour was an A+ and I can’t recommend Lindsey and her team highly enough. They know the area so well and will make sure you learn, have fun and enjoy your time in Niagara to the fullest. Don’t try to see Niagara without Lindsey!

The tour is packed with interesting facts! Our tour guide Patrick kept us rivited with great info and answered every question we asked. He was the best. It was a great experience. Lyndsey and Patrick were so professional, informative and got us everywhere efficiently, which wouldn’t have happened if we were trying to find our way around on our own. And knew how to avoid long lines. I highly recommend them.

Fabulous!!! It was a pleasure to have Paula as our guide! She was full of information! Loved all the stories of the falls. We could have hung out with her all day! Everyone must take the trip on the Hornblower. It was an awesome experience!!!

Best trip ever, thanks to You Choose Niagara! Owned and operated by Lyndsey and Greg Moors, You Choose Niagara provides custom tours and private transportation. My friend and I were picked up at Pearson and thoroughly enjoyed the roughly 90-minute drive to our hotel at Niagara-on-the-Lake. Lyndsey and Greg gave us lots of information about the area and even a mini tour of NOTL once we arrived in town. It was like being picked up at the airport by our favorite cousins who just happen to know all about NOTL! We also booked a private custom tour of Niagara Falls with You Choose Niagara as we wanted to enjoy the day without worrying about transportation, line-ups, and getting to each attraction on time. On the way to the falls we made several scenic stops at various locations before meeting with our tour guide, Patrick, who took us on a walking tour of Niagara Falls. Highlights included the boat ride to the falls on the Hornblower, Niagara Takes Flight (a simulated ride over the entire area), and Journey Behind the Falls with its new observation deck at the bottom of the falls. Tickets were purchased for us in advance, we always seemed to end up in the shortest line, and Patrick was waiting for us at the end of each adventure with a big smile and fascintating information about the area. I often find travel stressful but the amazing people at You Choose Niagara made sure that my friend and I had the most relaxing, interesting day imaginable! There were also two extras that really added to our experience. At the end of the day trip to Niagara Falls, Lyndsey took us to a wine tasting at Peller Estates, where she is a member, and we enjoyed truly delicious, unique wines. Secondly, Greg told us about a peach wine produced in the area--and then brought us a bottle so that we could experience it for ourselves! Talk about going over and above! Thank you Lyndsey, Greg, and Patrick for everything!

Great tour by Patrick, he was really knowledgeable about the history of Niagara , had a real passion for his work. The boat ride was amazing we got absolutely soaked then onto Niagara takes flight was brilliant. Kept family fully entertained. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a tour

The group I was with was very small and intimate, so it was very easy to hear and understand what the tour was conveying. Maximum amount of people per group is 12 so no matter when you go to take the tour, it will be a great time. Experience was amazing and very worth the fee. I only wished the tour guide could join us in the Mist of the Falls as it is something everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. Looking forward to future tours!

the tour guides were knowledgeable and inciteful about places and things pertaining to the tour and niagara falls location. even with the dreary weather they made the walk fun and educational. paula and the gentlemen who accompanied her kept the group moving while sharing history and events falls related. the hornblower boat ride was exciting and gave us an opportunity to get a close up in personal view of falls.

The guides were awesome, extremely knowledgeable, encouraged questions- took photos, I can’t say enough good about them!!! We will definitely use again!!! We had a fantastic time

Patrick was amazing. Very knowledgeable with the additional little fun facts. Nice walking tour along the walk way along side of the falls. Was not rushed, took his time with us, till we got to the entrance of the Hornblower boat ride. The weather was awful but we had a great time on the tour and boat ride.

October was a great time to come. Weekdays are the least crowded. Bring extra socks and shoes to change your feet will get soaked

Firstly do your research! HORNBLOWER is Canadian side and Maid of the Mist is USA side. And yes Canadian side is the better side. Meeting point was at the Niagara Falls meeting point and we all arrived early much to the delight of our very energetic host, Bernie. There were 3 couples in the group and we shared introductions and off we went on our walking tour, with Bernie sharing her vast knowledge of the history of the area. She didnt mind a couple dropping back to save their legs while we continued the tour and eventually all met up again at the boat station, swiftly guided through and onto one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life. The noise, the experience, the views are just amazing! You cannot go to the Falls without experiencing this boat ride.

Boat gets you up close to the falls and the spray from the water. Everyone gets wet! Great experience but crowded. The boat turns so all sides get wet- everyone crowds to the front thinking it is the only place to see the falls but you get wet on all sides!

Walking tour with lots of history of the area and the falls. This combined with getting up close to the falls on the Hornblower made for a wonderful excursion.

Tour was amazing and very informative! Tour guide met us and walked us through Niagara Falls explaining ea h part and added few historical stories which made it fun! Boat ride was breathtaking, you get close to the falls and you ride through the mists of the horseshoe falls! We got wet even with rain jacket and ponchos but the experience was well worth it! Highly recommend this tour!
