It was okay. I’m not sure what I was expecting and don’t have any recommendations on how to make this better. Definitely got my steps in! Probably would skip this if I were you.

Mike was fantastic! As an industry professional, he provided excellent commentary and realism to the tour. Highly recommend!
What a fun and memorable tour! Winnie was the perfect guide. knowledgeable, engaging, and made the whole experience even better. If you’re visiting the Toronto area and love TV or movies, this tour is an absolute must-do!
Not only did Mike take us to see where movies were actually filmed, he had clips to show us actual footage as well. Sharing many interesting entertainment facts and his superb personality made our experience memorable. We highly recommend this tour. Thank you so much Mike! - Ruth from Ottawa
Great experience, guide was very knowledgeable and interacted with the group. We enjoyed this tour
Our guide Winnie was on time with ipad in hand ready to show us the sights. We went from location to location watching film clips in the area where they were filmed. From The boys, to Suits to American Psycho theres bound to be something you have seen. Winnie also gave us some little bits of information regarding filming and how certain shots are made. If you like film and tv then this is the tour for you, the one thing I will say is that we did a standard walking tour of the city a few days before and there was a lot of duplication of the places we visited so if you intend to do tours, maybe just do the one especially if only here for a few days.
Don’t bother. Not that interesting. Spend your money on a more interesting tour. Go to a Blue Jays game or shop.
Michael did a fabulous job on an extremely hot and humid day! We saw lots of sites in the city where they’d filmed shows and movies, and it was amazing to learn some of the tricks that were used to make Toronto look like somewhere else for these shots! We got to see clips from the shows at each site, then Michael explained some of the tech behind how they filmed and did the post production. Our tour stops were ordered in such a way that we got to duck into air con now and then to cool off, which was appreciated. Michael went above and beyond with our smaller group (it was just my husband and I that day), walking us past a theater my husband asked about since we were nearby! We learned a lot and had a great time - 10/10 recommend for all movie lovers, film geeks, and all curious about how they can use one cityscape to create endless worlds!
Very interesting tour with real examples of buildings and sites used on tv and in films, together with clips of the related productions so we could see how the site was « transformed » for the screen. Also included very interesting architectural and historical information. We really liked it, thank you!
The tour guide knew a lot about the history of the movie business in Toronto and even a bit about Toronto history. The movie clips where a great way to visualize the areas being used in film.
Fantastic Tour! Lucky for us the tour ran even if there was only two of us. Mike our guide had a wealth of knowledge since he works/ed in the industry. It was a great way to spend part of our day. Great to see some of the spots we often see on a screen in person instead. Addition of the video clips was a nice touch. Definitely worth a try!
Our tour guide Jacqueline was wonderful! She has extensive experience in the entertainment industry and she is full of stories and anecdotes. My husband and I live in Toronto but we feel like we have learned a lot from Jacqueline on the history of the downtown. We highly recommend this tour to others.
As we were the only ones to sign up for that particular tour, we received the full attention of our host, Jacqueline, who regaled us with tons of information on film sites and the architecture of Toronto. We enjoyed talking with her and she was friendly, informative and fun! This is a "must-see" tour for film buffs, but actually anyone will enjoy it!
Jaqueline did a fantastic job! Highly recommended!! Great walking tour; well paced with multiple breaks. Right on 2.5 hours.
Everything I saw on the tour was absolutely beautiful! It was really fun to learn some fun trivia about some of my favorite tv shows and movies, as well as the city of Toronto at the same time too!
First, it’s astonishing how much is filmed here. Second, you wouldn’t know it in a lot of cases because of CGI, but once you take this tour it’s so clear why Toronto is Hollywood of the North! You gain a whole new appreciation for the city and a lot of the stuff you probably watch because you have stood in the very spot of some of your favorite scenes. Our tour guide Jackie was awesome and incredibly insightful, it was so cool too because you can see her in some of the scenes she is using to show where the filming took place. I cannot recommend this tour enough, it was a great walk through and I learned a ton!
The guide, Jacqueline, was so personable and energetic with fascinating real life anecdotes. We felt like we had 3 tours in one with the Hollywood North portion as well as a city tour and even some ghost stories. The time flew by as with travelled around the downtown area. All in all a great value and enjoyable tour.
Our guide was very passionate, it showed she loved the movie industry. Learned a lot. The clips are sometimes long to watch, just standing on the street watching numerous movie clips, so maybe just some images printed out from the movie scenes would have been enough, but other than that it was extremely interesting.
good tour particularly if you enjoy films but i also found it interesting although i didn't know some of the films i booked in the first place as my husband is into films and a lot of canadian tv shows we were lucky and had two guides as one was training they also gave us other bits of interesting information as we were walking around and were great fun to listen to well worth the money
Really enjoyed the tour and the guide was excellent. Say some wonderful places where shows were shot.
The tour guide talked a lot about her own career as an actress and seemed a little bitter about not being famous... If you don't watch Suits, there's not a lot here. All the other stuff was very good.
Excellent tour! Lots of stops that covered lots of movie and tv info, including but not limited to handmaids tale, suits, the boys, America psycho, Cinderella man, and more! Jackie was very knowledgeable- highly recommend!
Had a wonderful time seeing so much in downtown Toronto, getting to see all the places where film and tv shoot at and having the clips shown while on the tour by the guide was key!
This tour was the best, and given by a very very experienced actor (as she mentioned 125 times throughout the tour). Jackie made sure to make it as custom as possible, highlighting our interests as much as she could. She also peppered in general facts about Toronto and fascinating architectural details that I definitely would have missed. I only wished we had spent more time on the star walk - which I had no idea was there until she pointed it out! (But you can easily check it out on your own.) Would recommend, 100%.
Thoughtful, organized, and full of fun factoids. You can tell Jacqueline cared about her guests having a wonderful experience. Highly recommend her and this tour!
If you are a TV/movie fan, you should definitely join this tour to explore the different stories behind the scenes!
Loved this tour! I learned I don't watch as much TV and film as I thought, however I still recognized MANY locations from the stuff I have seen. The guide showed clips on the tablet in locations for us to see how the film shots were done, and often gave "insider" info. Jacqueline is a working actor and told great stories about being on set in some of the productions. This was our first tour of the trip, and it gave us an excellent orientation in the area of the walking tour. I loved it, and I recommend it, even if you don't watch a ton of shows. Because, you can always Google the history of Toronto if you really want to know more about a particular building. This tour was perfect for us and Jacqueline was an excellent guide!
We had a great time! So much fun to see so many film sites around the town. Highly recommend for fans!
Omg! Do not miss this tour. We super film fans loved it!! Our friends (not film fans) also loved it. The guide was excellent and knew so much information. All of their guides are in the industry which makes a big difference. Wpuld recommend to anyone traveling to Toronto. We drove 3 hours just for this tour and it was so worth it
I loved seeing scenes from films/tv shows and the locations they were shot at. My guide was so knowledgeable about films, locations, the city, and the film industry in Toronto. Heartily recommend!
This tour was such a fun way to see the city while learning some cool things along the way! The guides were very knowledgeable and kept us entertained the whole time. I would seriously recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!
Toronto film & TV tours was a great experience, it was an excellent way to see the city of Toronto. I didn't realize how many of my favourite TV shows and movies were filmed here! The guides were so knowledgeable on both film and the city itself! I would recommend this tour to any one local or there to discover Toronto!
This is a fantastic tour if you are interested in exploring Downtown Toronto. The guides have extensive knowledge of the history of the City in general as well as how it relates to the film and television industry over the last several decades.
Toronto Film & TV Tours was a great experience! I am from Toronto and I was surprised how many cool TV and movie scenes were shot right in my backyard. I learned a lot about the city and its history walking around getting insight from the wonderful tour guides. I would recommend taking this tour not only as a tourist but also as resident of the city.
The tour was very well thought-through and the guides were incredibly knowledgeable. I've lived in Toronto for about 5 years and still learned so much both about the films shot here as well as general Toronto facts and knowledge. Would recommend to anyone visiting or generally looking for something fun to do alone or with a friend!
This was my first walking tour of Toronto and it was a unique way to see the city. The guides were fantastic - engaging and informative. It was really cool to see how many major films and tv shows were shot in our backyard. Would highly reccomend!
