The plane in the advertisement is not the plane you go on . We flew in a 1960’s Cessna , I would not recommend for the price they charge I’ll be doing a helicopter tour next time , plus you had to walk a mile once you got to the airport just to find the place . Pilot was very nice but that was the only good part

"MO" was our pilot, he was so amazing. he gave us a very good experience, helped us get the right shots, excellent landing and take off, generally a warm and welcoming person. It was hard locating the place, better go early. we were offered a van to take us back to the airport terminal which was very thoughtful.

What a wonderful experience. I can't find a word to explain how friendly and helpful the staff are from the very warm welcome till the end of the tour. I recommend it to see it for everyone not only we as tourists. Thank you

I really enjoyed my flight over Toronto and the Niagara falls. Our pilot was great, and we were in safe hands. With that being said, I wanted to confirm a few other reviews. We were offered an upgrade of a private flight for an additional cost, and took it. We flew in a Seahawk II. To me, this was much more fun and felt more authentic but it's definitely not the same as some of the pictures so if you take that option and expect luxury you will be disappointed. Also the pilot can't talk to you during the flight, so nobody is pointing out landmarks to you. Again, this was fine with me (they're a pilot, not a tour guide), but if you are expecting commentary you will be disappointed. The building is difficult to find and no instructions are provided. Take the ferry to Billy Bishop airport and walk to the right hand side of the island (walk with the CN tower behind you, past the Maanjidowin sculpture). Walk until you reach a fence, then take a left and look for a building called "Porter FBO".

READ THIS BEFORE YOU CONSIDER BOOKING IFLYTOTO I had planned this flight months in advance as a surprise for my partners birthday. Originally I had booked the group flight. When I inquired about the champagne advertised in the photo I was told that this was only offered on the private flights at an additional cost. They said the private plane was smaller but just as nice as the group plane. I initially declined but later decided to opt in and was told it would be $320 extra, which I paid in cash for the day of. When we arrived the pilot took my cash first then went to prepare the plane. When he returned we inquired about the champagne and were told that there was none in the hangar. We tried to contact someone from IFlyToTo and no one responded. The pilot suggested we just go for the flight and that we could resolve it after, so we did. Despite their lack of response to our calls before the flight, just before take off our pilot told us that IFlyTOTO texted him saying that they had run out of champagne the night before and that’s why there was none prepared for us. We received a call from IFlyTOTo mid flight which we obviously could not answer as the plane is incredibly loud. The plane is not at all as advertised ( see photos)- it was a very old model that was duct-tapped together with siding that was falling off, ripped and stained carpets and overall just old and dirty. A lot of things were broken. It looked nothing like the photos they use for booking. No talking headset is provided just noise cancelling headphones, so we couldn’t hear anything or talk to eachother during the flight. After our flight we called IFlyTOTO multiple times and got no response. Finally they picked up and when we asked for a refund for the lack of champagne and overall dissatisfaction of what we experienced vs what we expected from what was advertised- we were told that we shouldn’t have taken the ride and were offered $30; the value of the champagne. We were redirected to the manager and did not receive a call from them for about two hours at which point we called back and left a message saying we would escalate to a legal matter if needed- we received a call back within 10 minutes after that. The manager said that we were told the model of the plane when we booked so we should’ve known what it would look like ( we weren’t told the model of the smaller plane) and suggested that we were complaining just so we could get a free ride from them which was wildly offensive. The manager then said he would work on resolving this and asked for us to give him 3/4 days. We did not get any further response from the company and after a week of waiting to hear back, we disputed the charge. It wasn’t until after getting a refund via dispute that the company tried to call, and which point we didnt respond. I genuinely feel that this company is a scam. What they provide is not what they advertise at all. Their customer service is terrible. I would not recommend using this company at all.

Hello. Just following up on my potential refund to this experience. Following up on the situation I paid extra for a private flight from my initial booking . Got rescheduled to the following day due to apparent plane issues. Was communicated fairly that we’d be on a better experience for a longer tour, better plane ( no mention of group settings, I also mentioned this was a birthday event. So it definitely didn’t need an extra party ) The day of arrival before the experience right away was asked for money. We then were paired up with 2 other couples, one couple being served drinks because of their similar situation and the other couple including us left empty handed until something was mentioned. The plane operators were understanding and helpful which was good. The overall plane experience wasn't good at all. The plane had garbage in the back seats, plane barely had A/C it was soo hot and unbearable that we couldn’t even enjoy the views. I honestly have history with this company from doing a handful of tours from Groupon and the main but dealing with the agent behind this booking was the worse one. I honestly feel it was a money grab and a finesse on soo many levels. Out of my girlfriends whole birthday itinerary this was one of the negatives of my girlfriend’s birthday planning. Despite being very optimistic and positive at this. Im requesting for a refund immediately.

Pretty smooth experience. We paid 50$ more for private experience (total 400$ for 2) which was reasonable considering the nature of activity.

Very old and dirty planes, too expensive for the service. Also someone told me one of the planes had a problem with the landing gear and had to go around a couple of times before landing.

Booked for what I thought was $98 a person. Turns out you are expected to pay an additional $150 upon confirmation to cover the plane fuel, which the office claims was included in the booking description. Due to weather, flight was delayed an hour and when my partner and I asked for an update and then eventually a refund, the copilot kept asking why we needed to leave and insisted that we could just come back another day. We attempted to call the main office to get a refund, as the people working the main desk were not affiliated with the booking company, and we were sent to voicemail. The flight overall was very uncomfortable and not romantic or comfortably intimate as advertised. The plan was old, my partner and I had to ride with a family of 4, the entire cabin was dirty and reeked of jet fuel, and (because if the weather) the flight was very rough and was only 30 minutes. After concluding our flight, the copilot offered to take the family's picture but not ours. He also made a remark about how we were "in such a rush." This was supposed to be a nice present to spoil my girlfriend with a surprise but we left feeling very disappointed.

Do NOT book this. It is a scam. The photo you see in this add is not what you get. I actually do not think that plane exists. They emailed us offering us a private tour for 25 more each the day of. Showed us pictures it was a dinky old 2 person plane I said no. Then they call me a few hours before and tell us the plane in the picture is having :maintenance" so we have to take the dinky small plane or nothing. As if rehearsed, offered to let me take pictures in the " fancy one". I said fine. We get there, there are NO instructions on where to find this building. We walked all over asking people and nobody had a clue. I tried calling then several times and they dont answer. Finally someone told us where to go. We get there to find out there is nobody you can speak to. As its all done virtually. There was a captain just waiting for us. He took us to the "fancy plane " for pictures. This was a different plane. Looked old ans rusted like it has not been driven in a long time. The inside did not look like the pictures and I did not even bother taking pictures. On our way back to the dinky plane, I get a call from a women asking me for more money. A "fuel and fee" charge of 100 more. I was not happy. They have no problem calling you for money but will not answer their phones. We get to the dinky plane. Which looked like it was going to break at any moment, it was cracked on certain parts inside. It was a 45 year old plane. It was so small I was squished beside the pilot and my friend hardly fit in the back. Making the flight terrifying and neither of us enjoyed it. The captain asked it we wanted more time and I said no. I could not wait to get back. When we got back a driver took us to our car, he told me that people complain all the time , and that the plane in the picture does not exist and they just always tell people its under "maintenance " to sell them this instead. And ask for extra money. This is very clearly a scam. I would like to mention the captain was very friendly and I dont think had anything to do with everything. Please save ur money and do a helicopter tour instead.

It was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. Watching Toronto from the sky, from inside that small plane, is a completely different feeling. Our pilot was very professional and provided great information about the places we passed throughout the flight. If you want to feel the city at your feet, this 120 km tour is definitely worth the money.

I booked the “120 km Aerial Tour of Toronto with iflyTOTO” through Viator – expecting a high-quality, safe, and comfortable experience, just as advertised on the booking page: a modern aircraft with leather seats, a stylish cabin, and a premium atmosphere. The reality was the complete opposite. Instead of the luxurious aircraft shown in the pictures, we were told we’d receive an “upgrade to a private flight.” In truth, it turned out to be a small, visibly old propeller plane that in no way matched the advertised standard. From the first glance, it was obvious that something was off. No comfort, no style, and none of the promised features – just a short, cramped, and very noisy flight. Taking good photos was nearly impossible, as even the windows looked old and yellowed. So I want to clearly warn others: The presentation on the website is highly misleading. Anyone booking here expects an exclusive sightseeing experience in style – but gets something entirely different. Very disappointing and, in my opinion, not trustworthy. I strongly recommend asking in advance which aircraft will actually be used – and not to be misled by the photos on Viator. However, that’s easier said than done, as there’s no direct way to contact the provider. For those who still decide to go: the meeting point is Porter FBO, about five minutes from the main terminal. The ferry there is free and runs every 15 minutes. On a positive note – the view from the island airport is beautiful and definitely worth seeing!

We had a small plane, accommodating two of us, which was the best deal that we could ever imagine. Even though the plane was oldish and small, the whole experience exceeded our expectations as it felt like a private event. Our pilot, Moe, was attentive to our needs, polite, and professional. He allowed my husband to take the front seat next to him, and for my husband (who learned to fly small planes in his youth), it was like coming back to his childhood! I had full freedom to take pictures from the back seat, all to myself, from any side I wanted, and Moe kindly flew us close to places in Toronto that we wanted to see. Also seeing Toronto from such a height for almost 20 min was something to remember: it appeared to be bigger than I thought, even though I lived here for the past 30 years :) :) Also seeing Lake Ontario with its horizon totally clean, in perfect weather, was very impressive. My husband (it was his birthday) was very happy too, as he had a chance to chat with Moe about their planes. The whole review sounds cheesy, but this is a real thing. I am not often that nice, but today Moe deserved it :)

I recently took a flight that left me utterly disappointed. The airplane that was advertised during the booking process looked nothing like the one that actually took us for the tour. I had high expectations based on the promotional images, and it was disheartening to see such a stark difference. To add to my frustration, I was charged for fuel surcharges despite the booking clearly stating that these would not apply to my fare. This feels misleading and unfair. I expected a certain level of transparency and honesty when booking my flight, but my experience was far from satisfactory. I won’t be flying this again.

Absolutely amazing! I booked this for my Godson as a birthday gift. He was accompanied by his Mom. They both had a wonderful experience! My Godson received a small champagne/2 glasses and was able to fly next to the pilot (Len). He was nervous/anxious & Len was so patient/accommodating that he stopped the plane to address my Godson's nerves! My sister said he was very kind & friendly. Overall, Great customer service & experience. Highly recommend!

The entire experience was truly out of the box. I upgraded to a private plane with my bestie, and we both loved every minute of it. The wildest part? That 18-minute flight was the perfect amount of time! One of the coolest moments was during landing—the current was so strong that the pilot had to pull back up and circle around, which gave us even more time in the air. Great personal experience flying over Toronto skyline, took up the option of individual flight for 2 of us on our 24th wedding anniversary at a small cost which gave us a fantastic view of the city.

First alarm bell was a phone call the day before the flight asking “Do you want to upgrade to a 4 seater, you’ll get a window seat”! “No thanks, I like what I’ve seen in your advertising, 6 seater luxury flight”. So, on to flight date. Had to follow a YouTube video to find the office. Not sure you’d find it otherwise. Arrived to be told that we were the only two on the flight, (what a surprise, it’s March!) and that we were being “upgraded” to a 4 seater. That’ll be $100. Was expecting the $60 mentioned in the small print (but couldn’t remember at the time if that was each or for the both of us. Turns out it does state $30 each in the advert so we actually were charged extra for the “upgrade”!) Taken out to an aircraft that could not be classed as “luxury” in anyone’s eyes. Jammed into the rear in two seats designed for people obviously thinner than our 75kg frames. Our flight was a circle of Toronto centre around and around and around and around and around before landing. Thanks for the “luxury” flight. Check the photos carefully folks. The smaller planes are what you’ll get, the “luxury” photo is actually the inside of a limo if you look carefully, and you certainly don’t get a limo!, the photos of the old 4 seater puddle jumpers are what you’ll be in and the views you get from the flight can all be seen from the top of the CN tower. Save your money, get yourself a meal at the top of the tower and you’ll feel much happier. Total waste of money.

False advertisement - aircraft was not anything like shown. Disappointed is an understatement. Do not upgrade and expect it to be an upgrade. It’s false advertisement which ruined our experience.

The directions to get to the airport are wrong and out of date. Firstly, they are not adapted to the winter period, and secondly, they suggest that you take the ferry to the island, when there is no access to the airport from the island. If it weren't for the friendliness of the staff working on the ferry, we would have missed our flight. The lack of transparency regarding the fuel fee is also uncomfortable. They said it would be $30 per passenger plus taxes (we were 2 passengers), and in the end we paid $100.30. It is also strange that they ask us to pay in cash or alternatively, to give our credit card details over the phone (yes, over the phone). They also mention a COVID fee, when it is March 2025. The plane has nothing to do with the one in the pictures, it is old, poorly maintained, very run down, at least on the inside. The pilot was not very friendly and did not inspire any confidence. Not to mention that there were "INOP" warnings on some navigation panels. I live on an island, and I fly at least 4 times a month, inter-island, domestic, and intercontinental, and I have never felt so terrified on a plane. I do not recommend it, never again, not with this company.

The "areal tour" never happened because the owner/organizer kept leading us on, then cancelling on us with excuses about weather. Regardless how beautiful it was out, he claimed it was "too windy." It's been 4 years and no ride. Year after year, we tried multiple times to reschedule and request refunds. He refused to refund us. To put it bluntly, he lied to us and stole our money. He represented iflytoto in Toronto and went by Nick, although I have reason to believe that it was a pseudo name. He had an accent the couple of times I spoke with him on the phone. Nick communicated mostly through text message. I finally reached out to Viator, who wouldn't refund us either, stating it had been too long.

I recently flew with iFly and had a wonderful experience with them. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff at the desk were friendly and helpful. The flight itself was comfortable, and I appreciated the cleanliness of the cabin. The Captain was professional. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service provided and would gladly choose your iFly again for future travel. Thank you!

We found out on arrival this company had cancelled our flight. We contacted them, and they told us it was a last-minute decision due to the weather. We were not contacted by them. The day in question NY Day was a sunny day. Before we arrived at the local airport, we saw a helicopter and small aircraft flying over Niagara falls. We also lost $80 in taxi fare, which they refused to help with. We are still waiting for a refund of the flight. We were also told by other sources that this is a regular thing that happens with this company. Very disappointed!

The view and the step is fine but when selling this on the internet they forget many points such as showing real photos of what you are going to do and say at once how much the whole price comes out because they are not specified well once you are there they charge you more money than you have already paid also the plane is not like in the photos that looks very striking because there are drinks at hundreds comfortable like a private jet but it is not like that it is a very old avineta that has no heating you have to go very warm because you die of cold this was my experience I paid 400 dollars for something that was not like that when on the website it was only 238.24 dollars and then they charged me another amount when I arrived there the taxes are super high be careful with that look well as you buy a tour on this page don't be fooled by the photos because it is not like that and it is a very short time They offered me up to 30 minutes

This was for my son’s 9th birthday. It was an amazing experience being able to see the city of Toronto from the air. He was so excited! The trip was quick, but memorable. The pilot and co-pilot were very knowledgeable and friendly. The pilot took pictures of us in front of the plane prior to boarding.

The charged almost $100 more which is a hidden expense and wasn’t told before.. The plane is also nothing like in the pictures. The windows were not cleaned. The point was to watch the view but it wasn’t clean so blurry view

It was a really good trip . But it was extremely hot and sooo suffocating inside. I travel alot and never felt what i felt as in my health wise.

Flying on a Toto was absolutely thrilling! The moment we took off, the excitement was palpable. The speed, the power—it was exhilarating from the get-go. As we soared higher, the views became increasingly breathtaking, with sweeping vistas of landscapes below that felt like something out of a dream. The clouds seemed close enough to touch, and the sun glinting off the wing made for some truly spectacular sights. Every moment was filled with a sense of adventure, making the entire experience unforgettable.

The tour guide we booked with was very accommodating. Great communication and very helpful! The experience was very fun as well! All in all I would give this a 10/10 experience. Very satisfied especially with the service.

Being up close to the tower was wonderful. Seeing another point of view of Toronto was awesome. I would do it again for sure.
