City Sightseeing Toronto Hop-on Hop-off Bus Tour

Great tour. Great guide. Great trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed this bus tour of Toronto. The pickup location was marked well, the bus was on schedule and easy to follow using the app, but the highlight was our guide Adam. He was informative and most of all funny. He had me laughing the whole time at his insightful references. We ended up going back to many places he recommended. You could tell he truly enjoys his city. We love a sightseeing bus tour and this was everything we wanted.

The tour guide can make a huge difference in the experience. My friends and I could barely understand what our guide was saying even though he was speaking English. He was talking way too fast and the noise of the bus overshadowed him. We were not sure what we were seeing.

Excellent all-around experience. Well organized with pleasant and personable personnel !! Helped with discounted ticket admission to other Toronto sights.

Not exactly what I expected, but not all bad. Some of the stops were not good. Lots of upsell by the employees on the bus. Some employees were not knowledgeable when asked questions.

We generally do a HOHO bus tour in any city we visit. This one was a decent but not a great experience. We used 2 buses to get round the whole tour, hoping off at St.Lawrence Market for some brunch. The tour guides on both buses were knowledgeable and had lots of funny stories about the sites we passed on the tour, as well as a lot of interesting info. Well at least we thought they were! The audio system wasn’t great and so sometimes it was difficult to make out what they were saying. Actually it wasn’t just the audio system that was falling apart, the old buses used have seen better days too. It was a shame about the crackley microphone, as a live commentary on board is far better than sitting with headphones in for 2 hours. Maybe a little bit pricey at £37 each but we thought worth doing with limited time in Toronto.

Our Ho Ho Tour was worth every minute and every dollar spent! The driver was very attentive to the city streets and made sure all the tourists felt safe throughout the tour. Marilyn and Mashaal did a fantastic job pointing out places of interest and sharing fascinating details about the city. As first-time visitors to Toronto, we truly appreciated how they took the anxiety and stress out of navigating an unfamiliar city. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Toronto! 🇨🇦❤️

Bus is infrequent. Maybe every half hour. You can’t hear the speaker. Nothing of interest really noted. She was just rushing but had a terrible microphone. Like Charlie browns teacher.

The experience takes you through almost all of the downtown and offers you reduced rate on the activities along the way. Take this only if you are interested to see the whole town. For me the experience was average as there is nothing like a ‘wow’ in this whole tour. I got down to see the Lawrence market as it was described like some Top10 by the Guide, but it was a very average wet market with very high prices.

Best tour option in Toronto. Good route with lots of hop-on hop-off locations near all the primary sights. The guides Dominique, Sumaia, and Mashaal were very informative and entertaining. Mashaal was the best! Sunny in sales was excellent and very helpful. Thanks for a great 24 hours in Toronto!

Very informative . We had a little problem because the marathon was being held on Sunday and all hop on/off tours were cancelled for Sunday . We were offered an extension to use our tickets Monday ,but we’re leaving Monday early. Seth at the 1st stop was very kind and helpful and got us a free ticket to use any day they run in 2027. He definitely went the extra mile for us. I hope his supervisors realize what a valuable asset he is. This would have been a very different survey without his positive input.

Booking clerk helpful and friendly. Liam our guide on the bus was accommodating and knowledgeable importantly he spoke to everyone individually and on freezing cold day he made the whole experience great fun. He added relevance to his commentary I think we were all engaged with his presentation and we all learned a lot. Highly recommend this tour. Very good value for money.

We met the bus at the first stop and rode it all the way around (just under 2 hours) Good information was shared, the host was easy to hear and understand. I would have liked to have heard more options at each stop - I recommend this tour.

This was the worst hop on/off tour I have ever done. I am a travel agent and have travelled extensively in my 23 years as an agent and done countless city tours like this. Let me be clear the driver was fine and it succeeded in getting us around the city so we could see the sights and use it as a mode of transportation to get to the CN tower. Our guide was an imbecile. I actually feel dumber having taken this tour rather than smarter. He didn't know where he was half the time and was rambling on about things that frankly I don't know if he was joking or if it was actual fact or if he was just trying to be funny but he wasn't funny at all. He said he was 27 and I wish I would have gotten his name. He needs to be retrained not only on actual route so he knows where he is during the tour but also given facts about the things we were looking at. He even messed up telling his right from his left to let us know which side of the bus to look out of. I was so disappointed in this tour and it could have been so great like all the others I've taken in the past.

There was an initial query regarding our paperwork which caused some delay. Our QR code did not work and we were apparently missing a reference number. However, i believe due to the fact that we had also booked the Niagra Falls trip which was verified, they honoured our ticket. Once on the tour, we found the bus okay and the guide, Callum, was extremely informative and had a great sense of humour which really made the trip. The contrast with his colleague when we came back for another part of the trip the following day was stark. Although that guide was also knowledgeable, he was very repetitive and kept repeating, “Don’t just have a good day, have a great day!” Which became quite irritating. Overall a well recommended tour . A great way to see the city and see where all the points of interest are. Mashaal was our tour guide and he was entertaining and full of knowledge, a great way to spend a day especially with the hop on & hop off opportunities

Good view of the City but commentators speech was fast and indistinct making it hard to distinguish what was said. Bus are generic to other cities but makes them easy to find.

The first bus was excellent. Earbuds were provided to hear the tour guide. The last bus was horrible. No ear buds. You listened to the tour guide speaking with a microphone while another HOHO employee walked from one person to the next trying to sell other tours, like the lake tour. She prevented us from hearing the tour guide, so I learned nothing about the last 6 places. I tried to move but there was never a chance,vas the tour guide asked us to stay seated.

We have been on many hop on hop off tours around the world. Adam was definitely one of our best guides! He was very articulate, friendly, and humorous. Absolutely made all the guests feel comfortable and informed. If possible try to get in one of his buses.

Pick up signs need to be more clear. One wasn't even there. The tour guide was excellent. Would do it again. Great way to get around and see the city. Walked a lot at the stops to see everything.

Excellent! We joined the bus near the old Distillery area and had the most amazing, friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. We were lucky enough to sit on the top deck as the sun was out - great views throughout the journey. We did the entire loop in one sitting, approx. 1 hr 45 minutes and was worth it as we really enjoyed the guide. If you want to see the city and hear a lot of facts, it’s well worth the ticket price

Buying through Viator, I paid $75/ticket vs. going to the Hop On site which was $50. The tour guide was horrible. Her English was poor and the speaker system was sub par making it hard to hear.

Knowledge of Toronto attractions was great. Lenght of journey was about right amount of time. Pick up & drop off good

It was interesting and so good to have a real person giving the tour guide. If you want to do a cruise or museum they have good discounts

Poor experience with Hop on Hop off bus. We were dropped off miles away from where we got on and were never advised we’d be stranded at 4:30pm. We only saw 6 stops.

The ride was interesting but the guide was very difficult to understand and spoke way too fast. We missed a lot.

The route takes you down to the CN Tower, which is also next to Rogers field. This can be extremely hectic, which does delay the buses if the Toronto Blue Jays are also in town.

Enjoyed the full route with live guide Liam L, who was a hoot with his comedic commentary. Thanks Liam for a fun first time viist.

Buses stop by every 24 minutes. Guide tells some information over speaker or headset. Guides are friendly

Good way of seeing the city. Takes between 1 1/2 and 2 hrs to do the loop. Lots of places to hop off Friendly and helpful staff

Does what it says on the tin. A little difficult to find stops to hop on aside from the main starting point, but staff friendly.

As someone who was already quite familiar with Toronto, I found the tour to be very informative! Lots of fun facts and context learned about the city!

Rained alot and even inside the bus on lower deck. Wet seats and very cold. Didnt hear much of what the guide said as they spoke very fast and close into the mic

Dominique and Makeda were our guide for part of the tour ( along with others we didnt catch their names). All had an excellent mix of humour and interesting facts throughout the tours. The buses ran roughly 20 min apart which was great for the hop on and off aspect, some technical difficulties involving bus microphones/ speakers but the staff worked efficiently around the issues. Would definitely recommend as a smooth and relaxed way to view the city.

Great. Bus & staff are great & hopping on & off is a terrific way to explore the parts if the city most interesting to the sightseer.

Was visiting Toronto for the day. Gave us a nice overview of the city. Was able to hop off st the St Lawrence Market and have a great experience and wonderful lunch. I would recommend.

We had a whole day planned out including a hop off and visit to Casa Loma then back to the starting point, Harbourfront, for dinner and a boat tour. We got to the Harbourfront stop at 1:30. Out boat tour was at 6:30 so lots of time to stop at Casa Loma and be back for dinner and the boat cruise. The bus didn't come and leave until 3:00 after being told a few times 15 more minutes. We didn't get to Casa Loma until 4:47 when the tour guide let us know that it closes at 5pm. The tickets I bought were non refundable so there was a $100 loss, not my fault. We returned back at Harbourfront at 5:45. The tour is supposed to be 2 hrs and 15 mins round trip. After a very quick dinner we got to our boat tour with a minute to spare and were turned away because we weren't early and they were ready to go. No refund granted for that either. The whole day was thrown off because this bus was an hour and a half late. Very disappointed! Never did get a refund for the inconveniences from Viator or the tour company. And no response as to why. I will not use Viator or this tour company again.

Good trip, the guide Liam L was very good. Unfortunately the sound system is horrible inside so it is hard to listen but still a nice tour

The voucher has to be redeemed at a kiosk in main square and as it was pouring there was not enough seats downstairs under cover. The bus leaked onto passengers in this area so be warned. The commentary was good and interesting and with 13 stops to hop on and off was brilliant. The buses run every 20 minutes so if full not along wait for the next one. Overall a good experience but the bus interior left a bit to be desired .

Great experience and knowledgeable guide. Problem was that route had changed due to construction and road closures and Viatour did not alert us. We were stranded for about an hour without a clue as to where to meet the bus. Eventually, we flagged one down and they told us where to meet the bus. Viatour has all of our information--why didn't they notify us?

A good way to see Toronto with limited time, and the main sites and learn about the area and a bit of history ,

more information is required and there was no ear phones available because era phones are required to here clearly

Excellent services. Narrator Darwin was very good at explaining the city sites. Entire crew was very friendly and caring.

We used several buses over the two days , with Mashaal, by far the most informative , and understandable of the guides. Some spoke far too quickly! The bus tour covers all the major attractions, but needs to find a stop closer to Kensington Market.

Far too expensive for a bus ride, did it as we only had 1 day there and the stops were handy, really enjoyed our time there though

The entire tour is super informative and very entertaining. Give yourself time to get off and on a couple of times.

A very convenient hop on hop off bus that makes touring the city’s attractions super easy. Some tour guides are better than others but they are all usually friendly and informative. Highly recommend.
