We stopped by about 10 wineries during our trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake, and Between the Lines was a major highlight. The winery offers a fantastic atmosphere—down-to-earth, comfortable, and completely unpretentious—and the wine tasted great. But what truly put our experience over the top was our host, Bri. She is incredibly knowledgeable while remaining fun, relatable, and hilarious. If you are looking for a fun, relaxed wine tasting, this place is an absolute must. And if you get Bri as your guide, you're in for a real treat!

Amazing winery!! Just did a tour, Ralf was great. My husband and I have done a ton of wine tours and visited many many wineries, and this was the first time we’ve ever done a ‘mystery black glass’ tour. Fun to make it into a game and compete guessing which notes and wines they are. Definitely recommend!

We did this tasting as part of our girls trip. None of us have done a black glass tasting before and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Amy took wonderful care of us and was very personable. Changes up a wine tasting, and adds a different level of fun when you’re testing yourself on what’s in the glass. Highly recommend!!!!

It was an amazing experience to enjoy wine and also test our senses with the blind black glass tasting. Our hostess Lacey had a passion for the wine and gave us great descriptions after we guessed. We felt right at home.

Our host “Paul”, he was very entertaining & informative. It was our 1st wine tasting, and although we drink wine we didn’t know the complexity of it. So learning about how the difference senes come together & how aerating the wine brings out the notes was very informative. I would recommend this place to the world! P.s. definitely try the ICE WINE if you like something sweet!

We did the black glass tasting. It was so much fun! Our server, Paul, was great. Super friendly and attentive. He was joking with us the whole time and made it a great experience. All of the wine we tasted was great (we bought a few to go home). It was different tasting the wines not knowing what each one was, then trying to guess which wine it was from the menu. Would definitely visit again!

Elaine made the tasting super special. Her knowledge of wine was superb! It was so fun trying to figure out the colour and varietal. I learned a lot about oaking versus not and that the cork means that the wine has seen oak. I highly recommend it and will go back and do it again! We had a little competition going at our table.

Thank You Tracy for making our small group visit with Niagara Vintage Tours so much fun! We loved the black glass wine tasting experience and having to figure out the wine by the pungent aromas and the taste and feel of the wines itself. I particularly liked the Lemberger wine during the blind tasting, a wine which we didn’t have anywhere else, so we bought a bottle of it. The wines were reasonably priced too. Another highlight is the setting: we loved the rustic (but modern with heating, of course) barn. It made this boutique winery and the blind tasting more intimate and enjoyable. Definitely do not miss coming to this winery and doing their black glass wine tasting.

The complete experience with Elaine was amazing. She was informative, fun and so engaging. Her enthusiasm was infectious and her knowledge of the product was stellar. We had a blast doing the black glass tasting! We were a little nervous going in, but it was a lot of fun, and we learned so much. We chose to do the Black Glass blind tasting. It was such a fun experience. Elaine was incredible and so knowledgeable. She really took the time to explain each wine and answer all our questions. Fun little experience for wine tasting. The food combinations were very unique but went well with the wine. We bought a couple of bottles afterwards which they only sell exclusively at the winery. I would recommend doing a couple of the tastings as it did feel kind of short. Overall, great experience with between the lines winery!

Beautiful, peaceful, easily accessible by bike. Loved our time there and the hostess Aslihan was just the best. Nice, knowledgeable and super fun! Would highly recommend doing a tasting with her.
