Franklin was our guide and he was fantastic. Knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. We did not realize when booking the tour that it was either a personal guide So worth the money We were in Toronto for a short time so this tour gave us a glimpse of a large portion of the city.

Itinerary
One of the most recognizable landmarks in Canada and a true architectural marvel. Standing at a soaring 553 meters (1,815 feet), it once held the title of the world’s tallest free-standing structure and continues to dominate Toronto’s skyline today. On your guided visit, you’ll skip the lines and ride the high-speed glass-fronted elevator to the LookOut Level, where panoramic views of the city, Lake Ontario, and even the distant mist of Niagara Falls await on clear days. Step onto the Glass Floor, an exhilarating experience that gives you a bird’s-eye view 342 meters (1,122 feet) straight down. Capture breathtaking photos, enjoy the fresh air from the Outdoor SkyTerrace, and take in the 360-degree views that make the CN Tower one of the most visited attractions in North America.
Set sail on a scenic Toronto City Harbour Cruise and see the city from a whole new angle—right from the water! This relaxing cruise takes you across the inner harbor and around the picturesque Toronto Islands, offering some of the best panoramic views of the downtown skyline, CN Tower, and waterfront landmarks. Enjoy gentle breezes, open-air decks, and plenty of photo opportunities as your captain shares fun and informative commentary about Toronto’s history, architecture, and vibrant shoreline. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a returning guest, this boat ride provides a unique perspective you won’t get from land. Note: Boat Ride (May–Oct) or Casa Loma Visit (Winter)
Step into the heart of Toronto’s culinary and cultural heritage with a visit to the St. Lawrence Market—one of the world’s great public markets and a beloved local landmark since 1803. Nestled in the city’s Old Town district, this historic market is home to over 100 vendors offering everything from farm-fresh produce and gourmet cheeses to artisanal baked goods and international delicacies. Enjoy free time to explore, sample local favorites like peameal bacon sandwiches, shop for unique souvenirs, or simply soak in the vibrant atmosphere. The market is not just a foodie haven—it’s also a cultural hub where history and community come alive in every aisle. Included in Tour: Self-guided time to explore, shop, or dine Note: Closed on Mondays—guests will visit the Distillery Historic District instead.
An architectural gem completed in 1899, Old City Hall stands as a proud symbol of Toronto’s past. Its Romanesque design, grand clock tower, and intricate stonework make it one of the city’s most photographed historic landmarks.
Home to Ontario’s Legislative Assembly, Queen’s Park is a beautifully landscaped green space surrounded by historic buildings. It’s the political heart of the province and a peaceful place to admire Victorian architecture and civic life.
Stroll past the University of Toronto’s iconic downtown campus, where historic buildings, ivy-covered walls, and vibrant student energy create a picturesque academic setting. It's one of Canada’s top institutions and a hub of innovation and heritage.
Toronto’s answer to Times Square, Dundas Square buzzes with digital billboards, live events, and city life. Located in the core of downtown, it’s a vibrant urban space surrounded by shopping, entertainment, and street performances.
Home to Toronto’s iconic “Toronto” sign, Nathan Phillips Square is a central gathering place that hosts festivals, markets, and ice skating in the winter. It’s also where you’ll find the striking modern City Hall, a key photo stop on the tour.

Our tour guide was friendly professional we had a great time. Every stop we had enough time never felt rushed.
Wow what a fab trip if you are lucky enough to have Johnny as your guide you are in for a real taste of Toronto and such a fun day covering many great attractions and points of interest. Simply one of the best guided tours we have experienced. Thanks Johnny and our lovely tour companions loved this day out.
A fab tour with the best guide and small group of people. Johnny was excellent and gave informative fun facts on a wonderful city tour, Sunday was a great day to choose as traffic was light and Johnny was an amazing driver with great care and attention to detail without being too much. Our travel tour companions bonded immediately thanks to the experience and fun Johnny truly made for one of the best tours we have experienced.
Great guide with lots of fun facts about the city. CN tower has the best view of the city. Boat cruise gave us a different area to see.
We ended up being the only group on the tour and we rode around in a mini van. That wast bad, but we did not get to go to the St Lawrence Market because it closed at 5. I mentioned this to the driver hoping he would take us there first but he assured us it was open late. It wasn’t. When we got to the boat ride, he gave us the ticket and I noticed we had missed our time to board. He was able to talk to someone to get us on the next boat. I fell like someone doing a tour should be more on top of times the attractions are open/closed.
Worst experience - requires meeting downtown Toronto where no parking exists. Tour guide doesn't know Toronto well. I'm from US and I knew more about Toronto that he did. Guide had accent, hard to understan Wis we had a native Canadian. Guide picked up 5 senior citizens in a mini-van, uncomforable as hell! No recommendation at all! I could have used Uber to get to Cn Tower, the boat at the harbor and a trip to a market for much less money, and been more comfortable.
While the tour itself was as described, the tour guide was not as professional as he should have been. He was arguing with another ride share driver, and discussing his personal finances/business. It spent more time having personal conversations than talking about the city.
You get to see and do a ton in a four hour period. We had never been to Toronto so everything was new but in a short time we covered all the highlights. Johnny our guide was fantastic!
Firstly the tour started 1&1/2 hours late due to “traffic” The tour guide rarely spoke unless asked a question. He dropped us off at CN Tower but did not accompany us so we were on our own. The boat ride was the best part. Otherwise he just drove us around with very little conversation
We had a great tour guide, Johnny. Very knowledgeable and helpful. The CN Tower was interesting and the market had lots of food options. The boat around the harbor was ok but we should have done the walking tour around the islands.
Our tour guide was good. The van was clean and he even provided us with bottles of water. The tour was on a Sunday after a Jays game so the traffic made the tour short. The boat cruise was just ok. The guide knew her stuff but spoke too fast. TheCN Tower was a Bucket list item and was a great experience.
We really enjoyed this! Was great to go to CN tower while it was so quiet. It was so fun but we would have liked a little longer up the tower and maybe have skipped the stop at the market! We also loved the boat tour. Great introduction to Toronto
Tour guide was very kind and knowledge. It always a great experience when visiting a beautiful country and learning its history.
Loved the CN Tower experience and the harbor cruise. I wish our tour guide would have talked more about the buildings and public art we drove by.
Nick was knowledgeable and ensured that all of us had water and the time needed needed to explore. We came away with a great appreciation of Toronto.
1) the tour guide was very upset with the current immigration polices of Canada and made sure we all knew it (more than once) 2) I tried to reschedule the day (a day ahead of time due to forecasted bad weather and was told no by Viator 3) I booked a CND event using USD and was billed for USD. There was no disclosure of this. I would not have booked it had I known this l. Viator would not make it right 4) weather was crap and could not really enjoy the day. I am not planning to use Viator again
Devon our guide was great. CN tower was awesome. The market had great food try the homemade pasta station. The best was seeing Toronto from the water. Definitely worth ur time and money
Terrible and do not recommend. The driver/guide didn’t plan or account for the Blue Jays game and traffic downtown and we didn’t even get to do the water part of the tour. He had a poor attitude and said no refund or credit as we could do the water part the next morning. However, we already had plans and he was very rude and basically said “sorry about your luck”.
Devin did a great job in getting us around Toronto to see many sites. He is very knowledgeable and provides great insight into the cities sites.
A city highlights tour with a 45 boat cruise on the harbour. Scheduled for 4 hours but lasted 5. Tour highlight was the guide, a 74 year old in the job for over 40 years. Very informative but very funny.
Loved the small group! Nick was an absolute pleasure as our guide.
A combination of experiences driven by local. Essentially a 5-hour experience of major local sites ending with the cruise.
Johnny provided an energising and informative you're if the essential parts of Toronto. Lovely brand new bits for the tour which on this occasion was 13 strong.
Our tour guide Alp through Zoom tours was amazing!! He was so knowledgeable and helpful. However the Viator booking said we would be picked up at our hotel which was not accurate. And it also said that there would be bottled water provided which was not accurate. It was disappointing as these were two important things especially when traveling with two older adults with canes.
Johnny, Johnny, Johnny, our tour guide, can’t say his name enough. He was charming, intriguing, funny, brilliant. He loved what he did, every day, he said, be a tour guide. He asked everyone where they were from, and always incorporated his stories with remembering every family’s location. He looked and reminded me of the person, Gene Wilder, in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, as if we were in that movie, and telling us the intriguing adventure of what we were experiencing. He will, Johnny, will forever be remembered, and our tour we experienced with him in Toronto Thank you again for our day together with him.
The best tour guide ever, very knowledgeable and helpful, who knows the history and city very well. The bus driver was very friendly and gave us some information about the city too. Anyone who wants to learn about Toronto should take this tour! Highly recommended
A quick downtown sightseeing tour with stops at the main attractions is highly recommended if you are short on time but want to experience Toronto in a single day.
This was a fabulous quick tour of Toronto! Great way to see some highlights of Toronto. Johnny was an amazing tour guide.
Tickets for the CN Tower where for the next day so I never got to see the CN Tower. St. Lawrence market was listed as part of the agenda, but we never got there. Spent most of the tour of the city in heavy traffic not moving The tour guide was 15 minutes late to picking me up with no phone call telling me he was going to be late.
Our tour guide Jonny was the best! Very knowledgeable but made the tour a fun experience. Saw lots of places and packed full of interesting facts and information you wouldn’t normally hear. Thoroughly recommend the combination of city tour, boat trip and CN tour.
Our guide Jonny was informative as well as funny. His constant banter was always meant to inform as well as entertain. Much would be forgotten after the tour, but his wit and humor would leave a lasting impression. I like chocolate cake, and there is never enough.
Our tour guide also drove the bus. He was a nice guy but really didn’t speak very often. Got the sense he had to be both driver and guide on this tour. Also was only given 20 minutes at St Lawrence market. The itinerary said at least 45 minutes. It was also our first stop instead. Too early for lunch
This was an amazing tour! Our guide Johnny was entertaining and educated, providing wonderful information about Toronto along the way. St. Lawrence market and the CN tower with a guide like Johnny are must do's on a trip to Toronto!
Absolutely LOVED CN Tower and especially the boat cruise! Oliver, the boat cruise narrator, was phenomenal! He made it so much fun in addition to how stunning it is! I’m sure I’ll be back!
Johnny was a GREAT tour guide. He was knowledgeable of the whole area. He gave us facts on the history of Toronto. We truely loved the boat tour and CN Tower. He was vary patient with all of us and answered all our question. He was even kind enough to drop everyone off neat their hotels. It was a great day long tour.
We were expecting a narrated tour of Toronto's history, architecture, etc. along with drop offs at various stops. It was mostly a taxi service between two stops (a market & a park) & then the boat ride & CN Tower, both enjoyable. So, it served a purpose. Just did not give us the information we expected, which was disappointing.
Johnny was fabulous. We realized after joining the tour that we were running short on time, he moved a few things specifically for us so that we didn't miss out on anything. Super knolwledgeable.
Johnny was the best guide! On time, Informative, entertaining, and great instructions. The boat was fun, the CN Tower was interesting, and the city tour was great. Good way to see Toronto when you only have a day or two!
Our tour guide Johnny was fabulous! We had a perfect day seeing Torontos many lovely spots and learned so much about its history.
Nick was extremely nice. Traffic was busy and very challenging with the Blue Jay's game but he did his best. Harbor cruise and city tour were very, very good.
Not as advertised. The itinerary was not as state. we were picked up by another operator - Not Viator. I believe it was call zoom. The Driver was really only a driver and offered little to no knowledge of Toronto. I could have booked my own transportation. The boat tour was much more informative and could have booked that separately. The CN tower - expedited entry was good but that was it. A waste of time and too expensive to not have a true guide.
Great tour, get to see everything in few hours, vip service. The tour guide was excellent and knows what he is doing. Beautiful city view from cruise and CN tower. Highly recommend this tour
Best way to see Toronto in short time. We pretty much covered everything in few hours, this tour is amazing. I would recommend to everyone
While the boat tour and tower were both extraordinary on a gorgeous day, there was a marathon which caused our driver to be late and nothing else on the tour able to get done, which was driving past and hearing a lot of history. Our guide was very young g, this was not his “usual tour” and the history was minimal. I would just get your tickets to the tower, and the boat ride at the dock.
Only did 2 of the activities (cn tower & boat), time limits were unclear (if we didn't ask when to come back to the guide, he would have let us stay at a particular location for too long) and the guide didn't know anything about toronto (couldn't tell us much history or fun facts).
Our driver forgot about the tour, we had to call and ask where he was. They said he was stuck in traffic and would be 40 minutes late. I said it would have been nice if someone had let us know. We went and did the CN tour on our own - had to walk over with 2 friends that were over 80. A little over an hour later the driver finally showed up. He was pleasant and told us he got his days mixed up. I think we should at least get a partial refund!
CN tour wasnt skip the line, though the line moved quickly since it wasnt too crowded. No bottled water was offered. The driving city tour was limited to naming a couple of buildings. No introduction to the city/brief history etc. It was effectively taxi service between stops. St. Lawerence market is a great stop but 30mins is too little a time if you are picking up food. Normally in tours which include markets, food or stall recommendations are given. As an outsider small tips like these make a bigger impact. There was more toronto info on the boating rather than the bus ride. For a tour which costs 150$ per person, it wasnt value for money. My recommedation is to Skip it; unless you are short on time and would like to avoid the logistics of doing the activities independantly.
Johnny is a great guide. Despite the weather not cooperating, Johnny made the trup special. Would highly recommend this trip.
Our tour guide was Johnnie and he keep the day moving and upbeat. He was funny, knowledgeable and very nice.
