This place is amazing! We spent so much time there exploring and trying to find hidden figurines. I ordered a mini person and I’m really excited to see how it turns out when I get it in the mail.
We loved it so much! What a fun activity! We took 4 hours hours to do it all and love it so much. What a fun activity to do! It is a must see if you are visiting Toronto, or a must see if you are a local as well too.
This is a great find during our visit to downtown Toronto. It is so well organized with the room flows. The restrooms are very clean and convenient. Even have a room for some quiet time, if visitors needed some. We got to see all the highlights in each of the Canadian regions, with such great details. Not only just a miniature presentation, but quite often with moving parts and changing lighting. Even a retractable Roger Center roof! It was so fascinating to see trains and boats moving around. We spend over two hours here, but you could easily spend more time here. Just way too many things to focus on! A great place for kids and adults alike. Very well done. We also got to see a young lady in the studio working on some miniatures. She sure looked like she was enjoying her job very much.
Give yourself at least 2 hours to explore. Had an amazing time and great pictures. Totally recommend!
Firstly it’s no longer called Little Canada…but Pocket Planet Canada…so you need to change the name on your site. It’s fantastic….exquisite miniature buildings, animals, etc…so realistic..with lots of movement. I think the adults find it more amazing than the kids. Definitely worthwhile going to see. Takes about 2 hours .
So fun! We all enjoyed the experience.
We love this place and keep coming back. They have expanded by adding a artic and West coast areas since our last visit. As always, great detail and interesting selection of what is included. I just love all the animation. We spent 3+ hours and did not notice the time flying by.
Totally loved it! Very interesting to see the major cities landmarks. Definitely worth the visit.
So much fun. So much to see and discover. Not only is there so much attention to detail in the displays but there are so many funny little touches throughout that you'll find yourself searching them out. A great way to spend the day and escape the heat and busyness of the city. Suggest going at the end of a trip when you'll be able to spot and recognize all the sights you've seen. Take your time so you can witness the day/night cycles, fireworks and aurora.
This was an awesome find! I happened upon this place by chance and gave it a look, and it is more than worth the admission price for me. It feels steep but it’s clear to me that that money goes towards the really incredible creative work behind these dioramas. All the Easter eggs were fun to find, the attention to detail of the culture of Canada, past and present, was extraordinary, and the craftsmanship of everything from the massive world renowned landmarks to a corner store is phenomenal. Taking my time and reading the plaques, I was in here for easily two hours, maybe more (I lost track of time haha!). If you’ve got curious little ones who like to find things or like to read, this may be good for them, but otherwise kiddos might get pretty bored. Fantastic for all other ages though!
We had the best time at Little Canada! I went in with minimal expectations and was essentially looking for something family friendly to do during a rainy day, but it was so good. Admission fee isn't expensive in my opinion, and it killed 2 or 3 hours of a wet day in Toronto, keeping my four year old daughter entertained. She loved spotting the little moose amongst the exhibits. The exhibits are just so cute and fun, and have so much detail and things to spot. For example, there's an ice rink at one point and we spotted Rozanov and Hollander from Heated Rivalry on the ice 😂 You can also get turned into a miniature to be put into the display, or sent home to your house. UK postage was prohibitively expensive, so we got our daughter turned into a miniature to be placed in Downtown Toronto. Apparently they will send us a picture of her there - obviously can't review how good this will be yet. There's the usual amenities you'd expect - a gift shop and a cafe, and I'd really recommend you check this out.
For someone currently does not live in Canada, but has lived most of my life in Toronto, I never really thought much about visiting "Little Canada" when I'm in town. We were looking for something to do with my pre-teen son one very hot afternoon and he suggested this. My son went his mom a couple if years ago and really enjoyed it. He wanted to see the new exhibits as they are constantly adding new locations. All I can say is that I was very impressed. The attention to detail of the miniaturized cities / locations were amazing. It helped bring back great memories about places in Canada that I have visited in the past. It also taught me a little about other places in Canada I never seen before. Such a diverse country and it is well captured at "Little Canada". I would highly recommend this place to BOTH Canadian residents and visitors to this wonderful country. It is one place where in a few hours you can see and kinda experience many elements of Canada.
We had family from abroad visiting and finally grasped the chance to visit Little Canada at this occasion as we knew that our relative had greatly enjoyed a visit to the similar, German Miniatur-Wunderland in Hamburg. We spent roughly 3 hours taking pictures and exploring the endless details at a relaxed pace and we could have easily spent more time as there is so much to observe and discover among the various scenes from across the country. There are plenty of fun elements for kids and numerous hidden jokes and cultural and historical references for the grown-ups. The level of craftspersonship, attention to detail, and creativity is highly impressive. This is clearly a project of passion and devotion by all levels of the involved people and I highly recommend visiting Little Canada. Plus, it's such a convenient location. Simply magnificent, can't wait to see it grow further.
This is such a unique experience! I love the idea of it and the thought and care put into every model. The moving pieces are extra cool. The kids loved it.
Excellent miniature landscapes of most of Canada's must see cities and areas. Great for most ages, young and old! Takes about 2 hours to fully enjoy the entire museum and well worth your time and money.
More interesting and enjoyable than I thought it would be. After entering, saw only a couple of rooms but there was an entire downstairs floor of displays.
Really lovely models of all around Canada with a particular focus on Toronto and niagara. Such incredible attention to detail. The more you studied the models, the more you discovered. Nice to see the artists at work too. A really nice place to take children.
Great time and in awe with this attrsction
Incredible! Such a cool and fun way to see the vast and unique places and landscapes of Canada. I've never seen such thoughtfulness and cleverness put into exhibitions for what seems like a gimmick, but really really isn't. The designs of the miniature landscapes, from a day/night cycle, moving trains, dancing mini figures, to flickering TVs in windows and replicas of famous landmark buildings are all brilliant and brought us so much joy! You can see Little Canada is filled with the love and passion all the people working here have put into it (it took more than 8 years of work before they even opened!!). I would recommend this to everyone. Go, now, immediately!
Our family had a wonderful time at Little Canada. The detail was just amazing, we really enjoyed spotting different places we have visited. We spent about 2 hours going through the exhibits, it was well worth the $125 family pass price. Getting to speak with the artist and watching them create was another highlight of our visit.
Very well made and fun experience for all family. Makes me want to explore entire Canada.
I was in Toronto for business and had a half day tour before the meetings started and decided to check out Little Canada after the tour. It was delightful! This was my first trip to Toronto but I heard locals commenting on how accurate the displays were. It turned from day to night complete with city lights. I loved it!
A wonderful experience for all ages. We stayed for hours looking at every tiny detail of which there are hundreds to discover. The staff are very friendly and you can tell they are passionate about their craft. It was a lot of fun and we will definitely be back again!
Such great detail! You don't need to be a kid to appreciate this place. Unfortunately still too new for prairies and Rockies to be completed but it is super good and is only going to get better. Day and night cycles are really good
Worth every penny of the $40 admission fee. My partner and I had a fantastic experience. We spent about 3 hours looking at the various displays and time flew by very quickly!
This is a must visit for Toronto. The miniature models showcased the craftsmanship I haven’t seen before. It took their team over 11 years to recreate the beauties of Canada and it’s still expanding. The finding Maurice the Moose activity was a great hit among family. We truly appreciated this experience and will definitely come visit again in the future!
A wonderful and unique experience was had at Little Canada!.. We both love miniatures and thus is a veritable Mecca to the genre!.. we spent over 2 hours looking at the various displays and honestly, we really needed longer! Loved the gift shop and the area where you can have a personalized miniature done. We will be back and we both highly recommend this!
In March 2026, I visited Little Canada. Little Canada is located near Yonge-Dundas Square. I took an escalator underground to the Little Canada ticket desk and bought a ticket. Then I went to visit the full scale models. There were full scale models of Niagara Falls, Toronto, Ottawa, Quebec City, the East Coast (Nova Scotia and New Brunswick), Vancouver and the Yukon territories. It was a fantastic experience. Staff members Alana and Tara were very helpful and it was interesting to talk to them. I highly recommend visiting Little Canada.
A great experience to see all the miniaturized locations across Canada! The major downside is that it simulates nighttime for too much of the experience. It’s too dark and you can’t even see anything that you’re trying to look at. When it’s “daylight” it’s amazing! Also not very accessible for families or those with elevator needs. It requires an access pass from employees which is inconvenient and takes a long time.
Super fun, especially talking with the makers.
Admission fee was a bit high but you can get discounted rate pre booking online We spent about 2 hours there. The displays are SO detailed. We also had fun looking for Maurice the Moose hidden in each area. Nancy at the workshop was fantastic. We wished we had spoken with her at the very beginning of our tour. Would recommend for all ages. There is something for everyone.
Been here multiple times with my child and everytime we don't want to leave! So many details and stories and things to see! Kids would love the cars and trains, and adults would be fascinated by the level of details and familiarity if you live in Toronto or having been to the places... Amazing!!! Worth the ticket prize! A must visit if you're in downtown Toronto!!!
Loved loved loved little Canada! The detail is amazing and there are a ton of easter eggs to look out for. The kids loved it. You can get "littlized" and be placed in your favourite spot too!
Amazing wasn’t expecting it to be that detailed!! me and my friends had a great time we all work in Dawson City so we really came to see the town I was shocked to see they nailed the hotel we work at called the west mark inn also they nailed the casino and downtown hotel was so cute ! I also enjoyed seeing all the other provinces were so fun to look at and explore I will for sure recommend this to all my friends and family good job keep it going oh and also we absolutely loved the workers working away making things we had a quick chat so friendly and inviting amazing job yall!I rate it 9-10 the one point off just because the front desk girl getting tickets from wasn’t that friendly and super mono tone -Brittany McAlpine
We just happened to come across Little Canada on Google Maps while planning our trip to Toronto, and it wound up being an absolute highlight. Centrally located on Dundas, Little Canada was a breeze for us to find while spending a day in the downtown area. We spent a solid two hours inside admiring the breathtaking displays and top notch workmanship that has gone into every inch of every city, landmark and natural marvel that their brilliant team have put together. You can even catch a glimpse into the workshop where the magic happens! We look forward to seeing the new displays the next time we’re in town. Keep up the good work! - Richard and Emily, Penticton
Loved all the little details and moving parts. Even the Sky Dome opens and closes! I hear that Little Montréal is coming soon. Looking forward to seeing that.
Take time out to visit Little Canada. Visit miniature Canada and enjoy other locations to visit, really enjoyed this museum.
A very enjoyable and educational experience. We opted for the guided tour which was running a deal during Boxing day. I highly recommend the guided tour to catch more of the details and behind the scenes. Made the visit that more enjoyable. Can't wait to see the additional exhibits when they finish.
Fabulous experience. My husband and I went with our 2 adult daughters. We all found it fun, entertaining and endlessly interesting. We only had 2 hours and wished we had a lot longer to appreciate the extraordinary detail in each section of the miniature cities. It’s easy to see just how much time went into every single piece- from brainstorming, to concept, to execution. There’s lots of fun little details put into each area. I may never have the opportunity to visit the Yukon but seeing parts of it represented in miniature made it feel like I caught a glimpse of what it might be like there & get a little flavour for the place! The staff are super friendly & helpful. We enjoyed getting an overview of the space when we entered by one of the staff members and talking to one of the miniature makers was just as enjoyable. Can’t wait to return with more time on hand to enjoy taking in all the details!
We went as a Scout Group, was a very fun experience with immaculate attention to detail and plenty of Easter Eggs to find.
Our time at Little Canada was a real show-stopper. We have five extended family members who live in Toronto.....so they clued us into this hotspot upon our recent Thanksgiving visit. We are from Pennsylvania and enjoy museums, but had never been to Canada. WOW! This place was clean, beautiful, intricate, and well-curated. Our immediate family includes Mama and Papa, and with 3 littles, aged 11, 9, and 7. My kids, husband, and I were equally captivated. We loved the attention to detail, the incredible scenes depicted, the lighting transitions (from light to dark within each scene-scape) and the whimsical humor incorporated into many scenes. The best part, by far, was coming across the sweet women in the workshop, whose knowledge riveted us! We learned about the processes involved in creating this miniature world, as well as its inspiration from another museum in Germany. We learned about the materials made in-house (using any one of 4 3D printers!), versus those purchased for modification and personalization. My son couldn't stop asking about the use of clay, acrylics, and various materials that make scenes come alive. We really loved learning about the artistry and dedication of the people who work there. What a treasure. We will return! Again and again. Thanks for your hard work and passion! On the logistics side of things: crowds were not big. We arrived close to 1 p.m. on a Friday, after school tours were complete. We stayed there for at least 3 hours, which seems like a longer time than most might stay. I'd guess giving yourself 2 hours might suffice. Admission was around $40 per person, but I think it was less once we got home.....cuz we're not Canadian and the conversion is different. Even the gift shop was thoughtful. Miniature recreations (I don't know what to call these....they're little figures of your family) were a little pricey for us.....but there were nice options in the gift shop to help us remember our stay in other ways.
Located in The Tenor, Little Canada proved to be an enjoyable unscheduled stop. After a couple days ambling around Toronto, my partner and I were feeling a little lazy and didn’t really want to go far beyond our hotel (we were so sluggish, in fact, that we didn’t get going until noon!). After a quick lunch at Chipotle, we decided to patronize Little Canada. Having previously experienced Miniature World in Victoria, we thought it would be fun to see miniatures on a far grander scale and, well, we definitely weren’t disappointed! Little Canada was such a fun, immersive experience! What we’d initially thought would take an hour and a half ended up taking double that amount of time! The displays of Canada – which run the gamut from the Maritimes to British Columbia (“Little North” was still under construction) – are so detailed it’s impossible to “rush” through the displays if you want to truly take it all in and appreciate the level of detail, craftsmanship and effort that’s gone into creating this miniature version of our country. Thousands of little “people” give life to the displays; the cities and their “natural” surroundings have been painstakingly re-created to give an air of authenticity; many of the displays have motorized parts (think Rogers Arena in Toronto, the trains, and cars zipping about); and the scenery switches from day to night. I don’t think it would be an exaggeration to say one could easily spend the better part of a day here and still run out of time! Of note, the nerd in me was happy to see some of Douglas Coupland’s works receive the miniature treatment: Float Forms in Toronto and the Digital Orca in Vancouver! How cool is that? Oh, and if you want a bit of a challenge, try finding Maurice the Moose in the various displays. It will certainly add time to your stay, but it makes exploring the installations that much more fun! I will note that, while many iconic symbols of Canada get a tip of the cap, I did find it rather strange the Empress in Victoria did not get the miniature treatment, nor did the Hotel Vancouver. How come? I know, I know . . . you can’t fit everything! One last point of interest: Once you’ve completed your adventure across Little Canada, you have the option of partaking in their “Littleization” process whereby they “shrink” you and you can choose to have the little figure placed somewhere in Little Canada OR have it shipped to you (we opted for the latter). It takes a little time – we received ours at the 6 week mark – but is so worth it, just like this whole experience! If you have the time, we highly recommend checking out Little Canada! It’s a great way to explore the country and get a taste of what it has to offer. After visiting, you just might be encouraged to actually go and visit other parts of our home and native land!
We come Here to kill some time as we were heading home that day, I wasn’t really feeling hopeful, we booked tickets through Expedia which was a complete pain in the neck on there side… We met Lauren she went above and beyond to help us, and her kindness really blew me away. The village and the work that goes in to itwas fantastic we walked around we seen other staff members and every single was lovely. Towards the end we were walking to another person and she was also lovely very bubbly. The staff honesty made this place for me. Thee customer service skills are unreal and I can’t Praise them up enough. Little Canada Was amazing and If I ever go Back to Toronto I will deff be going back. Thanks Again especially Lauren xxx
My first time my brother and I tried this attraction and it was great to see the miniatures of Canada starting Niagara Falls and all the way to the west coast of Vancouver and the Canada North it was very nice hand made this mini sculpture but some of the attractions they miss are Montreal and The Canadian Rockies area I guess they still building it hopefully it will be finished and the the price for administration a little steep anyway I had a great time checking in out little Canada attention hopefully I come back soon to see Montreal and the Rockies mini area soon
Nice and cool spot to capture part of Canada. They have British Columbia and Ontario. Rest of provinces under working. Look forward to see soon
We visit Little Canada two or three times a year, usually with others in tow. And we could visit three times that often and still see something new each time. It is truly a spectacular attraction. The attention to detail means whimsical discoveries that never cease to delight. We always have kids with us, and the scavenger hunts are SO GOOD. We've been around Halloween, and Easter, and both of the special themed hunts were great - but even just finding Maurice the Moose is great. Part of what I love most is that every time you end up finding other visitors who are also participating and the kids form little allegiances - helping each other out. I don't know why kids who are normally competitive and obsessed with "being first" always seem to find their cooperative side at Little Canada, but that's my honest experience. I look forward to every new area that opens (like the Little North, which is actually COLD). I'll be back, over and over. 10/10.
My friends and I all thought it was amazing! The detail and depth was incredible and I love the way it boosted interest in Canadian history! (lots of historical plaques with ‘little known’ info on them. Educational and detailed! It don’t take itself too seriously (fun sculptures, such as a fish using a man as bait and the cross-sections of landmark buildings)!
I have a lot to say so I will start from beginning. This is a place EVERYONE must see!!!! It was easy to find add even easier to check in and get in line to start the exploration of this marvel!!! An absolute must see!! No jokes, I don't do reviews lightly, if at all. Let me say I am obsessed with miniatures so this was a dream come true for me and I would absolutely leave my home of Saskatoon to work here lol. Make sure to set aside a lot of time if you can manage it, we did like 3hrs and I would have stayed longer if I could have. Every bit of this wonder deserves the highest praise of excellence. All the greeters, hosts, staff(family) and such were so helpful. Every exhibit left me in awe and sometimes in tears from sheer happiness. I was left breathless many times and also so gleeful. About halfway through we got to meet the man himself behind this glorius wonder! Everyone needs to know what an incredibly nice and gifted man he is as well as every talented person who is lucky enough to be apart of Little Canada! He took the time to show us some things I had missed and was I ever grateful, and you will be too. He talked to us about the expansion, his family and he let me gush over this splendid creation and yes I totally "fangirled" him. I could barely speak! That never happens, ask my friends lol! After all this you can go and get yourself littlized(made into a mini version of yourself) check out their website! I apologize for the long review but it all needed to be said! Thank you for reading if you got this far. If you get the chance or can make it happen this is a Canadian must see by all!!!!
Great place to visit. Walk through the areas as each part of Little Canada comes to life with day/night switch over. Music, lights and so much detail in the models. We really enjoyed this and gave us a great flavour of our week to come in Canada. Great fun and well worth a visit. We got there as it opened, so no queueing, but I can imagine it could get very busy.
