Great location and service. The room was clean except for a used sock found behind a pillow on the couch. I let the front desk know and they gave us vouchers for the breakfast buffet. The breakfast buffet located in the lobby was phenomenal, fresh orange juice, great assortment of fresh fruit and hot foods, probably the best breakfast buffet I've ever experienced. From what I remember the buffet was close to $50pp (or more) but price doesn't appear to be advertised online and I don't recall seeing pricing displayed at the restaurant entrance, you would have to approach the host and ask. We also got room service for dinner, the Mac and cheese was too salty, but the steak was cooked well and the fries were very good. Overall good stay, rooms aren't cheap but you get what you pay for in this central location and for the service.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Hilton over the weekend, and we had such a wonderful experience. What really stood out to us was the exceptional service we received from the concierge team. Collette assisted us truly went above and beyond to make our weekend special. She was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and attentive, and took the time to help us plan our weekend and make recommendations that made our stay even more enjoyable. Her attention to detail and willingness to assist with everything we needed made us feel genuinely valued as guests. We also want to give a special thank-you to the bell staff, who were friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout our stay. Everyone we interacted with made us feel welcomed and taken care of. We really appreciated the kindness and effort shown to us and will definitely keep this experience in mind when we visit again. Thank you to the entire team, especially the concierge and bell staff, for making our weekend stay such a memorable one!
We had such a wonderful stay here with my friends! The rooms are spacious, the pool is awesome, and everyone at the front desk was friendly. A staff member named Dileesh stepped in right away when the fire alarm went off, guided us safely through the back elevators, and even escorted us to our rooms. Overall, amazing service and definitely recommend staying here!
This is like Fawlty Towers. A complete joke. Nothing. Works. There were major noises at the room like the building was falling apart. When we tried to call the reception the phone was out of order. When we turned on the TV it didn’t work. Oh, and they “forgot” to clean our room. When we tried to go to the reception there was a 20 minute line as only 2 out of 6 desks were open. So we had to wait and wait. We asked for new towels as we had no cleaning and they would bring them right up. After 45 minutes we still haven’t gotten them. So back to the reception and all over again. As compensation we got a free breakfast. The waiter was a parody on Manuel from Fawlty Towers and could barely speak English and interrupted us so many times that he got our order wrong - twice. We ended up walking out. This is not just a small problem. This is a management issue. What a terrible experience. Never coming back.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We recently stayed at the Hilton Toronto Downtown while my wife was in the city for hip replacement surgery, and the experience exceeded our expectations. From the moment we checked in, everyone made us feel welcome. A special thank you to Carlos Sanchez at the front desk, who was friendly, professional, and made the start of our stay seamless. Knowing why we were in Toronto, the hotel even treated us to a complimentary breakfast, which was a thoughtful gesture that meant a great deal. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of downtown, with convenient parking nearby and easy access to everything. Every staff member we encountered, from the doormen and front desk team to the restaurant and bar staff, was genuinely courteous and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a fantastic selection of fresh, high-quality food and an excellent omelet station. It was also great to relax in the lobby and catch the FIFA matches on the big screen. One employee deserves special recognition: the bartender working on Saturday afternoon, July 12. Although I didn’t catch her name, she was exceptional. Despite serving a busy bar on her own, she remained cheerful, provided wonderful service, and made one of the best margaritas I’ve ever had. Exceptional hospitality can turn a difficult trip into a memorable one, and that’s exactly what the team at the Hilton Toronto Downtown did for us. We’ll definitely be staying here again when we return to Toronto for my wife’s next surgery. Highly recommended.
