March 22, 2025 Conveniently located beside a casino, if you like that. It’s not a huge casino but it’s nice that you can walk over. The hotel is very nice and super clean, as was our room! The rooms are super large, we loved it!! The bed was comfortable. It was also nice to have a small kitchenette in our room.
This hotel stay was the worst I have ever had. The constant noise in the hallways and the hidden deposit that no one tells you about is just the beginning. The curtain does not close all the way. So you have the morning sun in your face not to mention not feeling comfortable changing or have spicy time with hubby. The card lock on the elevator is insanely annoying as well. We had a wedding we were going to to and the room wasn't tidied or freshened up once. No new towels. The bathtub is huge but it didnt hold water so dont even expect to soak in it. I will never come back to this hotel.
We absolutely loved our 3 night stay here. All we did was sleep, didn’t go in the casino, didn’t eat meals here or use the coffee machines. Our room over looked the casino, it wasn’t noisy except for the elevator buttons every time they binged on the floor. Our room was practically next to the elevators. Otherwise we loved the spacious room, large windows and comfy bed. The location was perfect for us since we went to Oshawa, Port Hope, Peterborough and Orillia on our vacation to this area. It was a beautiful area where we spotted turkey vultures, osprey and some deer. Definitely going to book this hotel especially since the price is so reasonable.
The hotel was very clean, and rooms were spacious. We asked for 2 rooms close to each other, and they accommodated with 2 rooms about 3 rooms apart from each other. We got an early check-in. We had to call the front desk several times for extra items as they would forget to bring items up, but overall no complaints. We would stay there again. The casino and 2 restaurants being just a few feet away is very convenient. The hotel also has a little eating area. The Packages are a better deal and the cost is cheap, for a clean & large hotel room.
Nice clean hotel. Was dissapointed there wasn't a swimming pool or hot tub for us non gamblers. We had the buffet, which has so many choices of foods. Great desserts, salads, and meat choices. We were there to attend a dragon boat race event, which was a very short distance from hotel. Love the town and hotel location.
