Not impressed with this hotel. Had issues with booking and employees not understanding our needs. Parking lot to hotel had numerous stairs so we had carry the stroller and then go around and had to pay extra, along with breakfast. Key card didn’t work, toilet had to be fixed- which was fixed quickly but still. AC in the room was terrible. Every area in the hotel needed a key card… like the ice machine and washrooms. The best part was the pool, which our toddler enjoyed. She did lose her stuffy, which I know is in the room but they said it was not found.
We had a lovely stay. You can tell the hotel is remodeled and some of the details haven't been updated yet, but overall fabulous for the money. The beds were very confortable. The breakfast is outstanding!! Our server Carol was absolutely wonderful. Very helpful. Front desk staff were also quite lovely and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
Stay was enjoyable as the hotel is conveniently located in Kitchener downtown (next to a modern tramway – the ION Light Rail Transit) with easy highway access.
Front desk’s “Shiv, Rilha, & Theresa” were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. An issue cropped up and we were pleasantly upgraded to a suite. Housekeeping was always attentive with a smile.
Breakfast at AQUA was good and “Carol” made it an experience that we kept looking forward to every morning. God Bless her with continued health and happiness.
One note though, the entry doors are very heavy (accessibility is an issue via the same).
All in all, will probably be our choice for the next visit and a definite recommendation for friends & family.
Fantastic stay! The staff were all very presentable, willing to help, friendly. The rooms clean and the breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing! Delicious, great options, healthy, and better than any breakfast restaurant. Stay for the breakfast buffet!!!
I would say the only flaw was the pool was little cold, we all expected warmer for an indoor pool, and there’s no washroom connected or close by the pool, which sucked for anyone that has to pee, specially little ones.
Regardless, they deserve 5 ⭐️
I stayed here for the 2026 culinary conference and everything went so smoothly all week. I’d personally like to thank David, who was attentive, hard working, and there for everything we needed all week. He crushed every request with no complaints. It was very admirable.
Thank you for the service from the front desk to housekeeping. Everything was great. There’s a great cafe next door and delicious restaurants near by as well.
Overall, the stay was a full 5/5. Thank you again!
