Stayed here last night for the first time. Pretty mixed reviews. Parking garage on site is beneficial. The elevator to the hotel lobby from the parking garage seemed to be having issues however so we had to take the stairs. The location is good. It's easy to access and close to public transportation. The lobby is large and had multiple people working to check people in. The gentleman who checked us in was nice enough. Gave us our keys and forgot to write the room number down which seems like a bit of an obvious thing we would need. Waited for the elevator for about 10 minutes. The hotel was busy and elevators were smaller so that caused the wait. There was garbage on the elevator floor when we finally did get in. We were on the 9th floor. Very dated, and small room. I did not book directly through the hotel site so assume they give you the less than ideal rooms. Comparing to the website photos ours definitely seemed like pre-update. Room had a queen size bed and a balcony. Was tidy but didn't seem clean. Garbage was left on the balcony and the bathroom could definitely use a fresh coat of paint. Decided to use the adult hot tub in the morning. Being on the 9th floor, you have to take the elevator to the 25th floor and then walk up a couple flights of stairs in what seemed like a back stairwell. When we got to the pool area were greeted by a nice gentleman who gave us towels. The changing area was clean. The hot tub was the opposite of hot. Even felt a bit cool. The jets were not working. It was really disappointing because the hot tub was one of the reasons we picked this hotel. We stayed about 5 minutes and left. The only positive was they had a piece of equipment in the bathroom that spun dry your bathing suit. When we left the pool area we accidentally went a different way, which is how we realized our floor and room were seemingly less than. Much nicer hall, cleaner and more updated, with many more elevators and a carpeted staircase up to the pool area. Hard to describe but it almost felt like we were a lower class hotel guest at that point based on the given room and floor. I know not all rooms are equal but it felt like a completely different hotel. When we got back to our hotel area we were back to it being more dated. Maybe staying on a different floor and not having to take the red elevators was the differentiator. I know others who have loved their room and stay. Based on my room, floor and experience however I would not stay here again.

This is our 2nd stay at this hotel. Clean room. AC was a bit tricky, easy to do the cool option but there were times when the heater option was not working properly. Enough number of outlets for our electronic devices. Mini fridge was good-they stocked 2 water bottles upon arrival. No microwave in our room, make sure to book the right one if u need it. Really busy lobby and lots of people in the hotel, sometimes we can hear them thru the walls and doors but they were speaking at normal level, so walls/doors might be too thin. We stayed in the red elevator tower. Staff was really helpful. They were able to accommodate booking us a taxi going to the airport and helped put in our 2 large size suitcases in the car. They also had a $10 bfast deal-bfast sandwich and medium coffee, we got the wraps and croissant sandwich, coffee was actually good too. Construction around the area was a bit loud but kinda expected. No other issues. Just need to ask the front desk for additional stuff -if you forgot to bring your own-such as toothbrush, toothpaste, and extra towels as they are doing a green initiative. Will book again next time we stay in Toronto.
I had a staycation with my four year old and we had such a wonderful time! The pool is amazing with the water slide (although kids need to be able to swim across small pool and back to get wristband). Kids area was amazing with play room and arcade and games room. Room was excellent, lots of space and great furnishings for a comfortable stay. Breakfast options were incredible for variety. Would stay here again for sure!
were there twice in two weeks. once with our group bus-tour, once just our family. first time was fine (two rooms with a nice view from the ≈17th floor) but the second time was a totally different experience. we had a single double bedroom booked for four people, but received two rooms with each a single bed instead. we wanted to switch rooms, but had to spend a night in the two bedrooms to check out in the afternoon and check back in into (finally) the double bedroom.. on the 5th floor with a view to the backyard. the room itself was clean, but the bathtub’s lining was damaged and the sink didnt work properly.. other than that, the food in the bar was unusual (who serves a scotch egg??) but good (once one found something edible on the menu). breakfast had a nice amount of options available. location is top tier for shopping, just 10 mins away from the eaton center. a bit further for museums (≈25 mins). i‘d go there again, just next time make sure to book the room floor and the view beforehand.
We checked in without an issue and went to our room. It was hot outside. We couldn’t seem to get the AC to work but we met the housekeeping manager Ian and he was very helpful. Explained how to adjust the fan speed so our room would be cold after our walk. He even gave us extra water to put in our fridge. Our room was cleaned by John who was friendly too. The hotel is in a great location downtown, easy to visit the malls.
