We stayed here on the night of October 9, 2026. We were disembarking a Viking cruise in Toronto that. I was worried because we had to be off the ship by 9:00 and could not check in until 4:00. We had planned to drop our luggage at the hotel and go and meet friends but my bride caught the flu towards the end of the cruise, and we knew there was no way we would be touring. We were faced with sitting in the hotel lobby from 10:00 am until a room was ready. I called the night before and asked if we could pay for early check-in and explained the situation. The incredible clerk I talked to said that sadly, they were booked solid for the night before but he would see if we could get the first available clean room. We arrived at 10:00 and and he was still on duty. When I gave him my name, he said we had talked the night before, and that they had a single no-show that night and he held it for us. No charge. I cannot tell you what that meant to us at that point. My wife had not slept the night before due to coughing so she just needed to get to bed. She basically slept all day while I was able to sit in the living room of the suite and catch up on work. She felt good enough that night to be able to have dinner with our Toronto friends. We had a great night of sleep in one of the nicest rooms we have ever been in. Basically (if you count the bathroom) a three-room suite. The staff was so friendly both on check-in and check out. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. We will surely stay there on every future trip to Toronto. BTW: They have the best water-pressure in their showers of any hotel we have ever been to and that's saying a lot.

Just stayed at this hotel and only noticing now reading other reviews that there is a hot tub and sauna facility in the hotel?!? This is extremely disappointing as I surely would have used these facilities had I known they existed. Also disappointing to be told upon check in that since we booked with Expedia breakfast was not included - this was not clear on booking and indeed was something we factored in when pricing the hotel. Check in is also very late for standard - 4pm. The rooms are not serviced daily, but you are told you can call the front desk if you need anything. Tv remote in the bedroom did not work and the hairdryer would not stay 'unfolded' and had a massive dent on one side. The staff were friendly enough (although I'm very disappointed we were not told of any of the benefits of the hotel - including the rooftop - only that if we wanted breakfast we would have to pay an additional charge). You can leave your bags before/after check out if you are travelling at inconvenient times. The location is very convenient. The bed was had the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. Overall a bit disappointed for the price.
My brother was staying at St. Michael's hospital for emergency open heart surgery and we had to find a place nearby. We saw 4 stars and thought these suites would be a nice experience but were left disappointed. The sofa bed was old and outdated. Needs to be replaced. The fridge worked part of the time. The furniture was used and needs to be updated as well. We only got service one of the days we stayed. The shower faucet was nearly falling off the wall. The water temperature was inconsistent. Sometimes cool and then too hot. The shower curtain was moldy near the bottom. Also, how is breakfast not included when you're paying such an exorbitant price per night? The bed was comfortable and the staff were nice enough. (The run down and old condition of the place is not the responsibility of your employees.) We would recommend NOT staying here.
Terrific location, excellent staff, rooms are great with extra space, microwave and fridge but this hotel desperately needs some renovations and some sprucing up. It is really dated, very little has changed since I was last here 15 years ago. We used the pull-out sofa bed, absolutely terrible. We had to put the sofa cushions under the mattress to make it even possible to lie on. The mattress in the queen bed is so saggy. Pls spend some money, cambridge suites!
I booked the room through Agoda , and the price was almost half of the hotel’s regular rates, so I wasn’t expecting much. To my surprise, the room was very decent, comfortable, and absolutely worth the price. The room was clean, quiet, and spacious enough for a relaxing stay. It included a sofa and sitting area in one room, a separate bedroom, and a large washroom, which made the stay even more comfortable. The services were basic but completely sufficient for what I paid. I also got to enjoy a very beautiful morning view from my room window, and I clicked some lovely pictures there. As a solo female traveler, I felt peaceful, safe, and comfortable throughout my stay. The staff were very respectful, polite, and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in downtown Toronto.
