Very personable and educational. The honey bee farm was truly unique and the guide was superb. Highly recommend.

Reviews
Directions to the meeting place were well explained, van was comfortable and ur guide was well informed. Excellent honey farm experience, then on to Olympia, home of the Olympics and then to an olive oil tasting, family owned. Wonderful. At the 3 sites we had excellent guides.
The honey farm was such a pleasant experience. We loved tasing the spoon sweet and the honey. The tour of Olympus was very informative. The guide was excellent.
Truly a wonderful time in Olympia. The visit to the ancient Olympics site is a must do! The olive oil and honey tasting was very good. We opted to tour around the charming little town vs going to the honey bee farm. We loved the shops and restaurants but all of the other guests that went to the honey bee farm said that was great too. Excellent day!
This is the best excursion and one that we enjoyed so much. Effie was our Tour Guide who was very knowledgeable and loved sharing information about her region and Alexis our driver was great. We had an amazing tour guide, Maria, at the Olympic Site ruins. She shares so much great information. I heard one woman pass by me saying about her unrelated tour that “this was underwhelming “ and I really wanted to tell her she had the wrong tour guide! Maria brought the original Olympics to life for us! She was awesome, I could have spent a week with her. She was so knowledgeable and made a pile of rocks come to life! Then off to the beekeepers home…Klio and her mother, Theodore were so lovely and kind and made us feel so welcome in their home. In Klio’s beautiful gardens we were treated to Quince spoon treats, a delicious juice and Greek coffee as she shared her beekeeping trade. We were able to sample some honey on a traditional baked good while her mother shared the natural healing effects of honey in their products. Afterwards we visited Elena at Padelina’s where we learned about and sampled olive oils, balsamic vinegars SO Yummy! Thank You so much for picking these guides for us!!!!!
There was plenty of shade in Olympia which was welcomed during summer months. The tour guide was fantastic, so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about sharing information with us. The olive oil tasting was good but don't expect to go away learning out the process of making out. The surprising standout to us was the honey farm. They provided cool drinks, iced cloths to put on your back, and went through all the steps of making honey, both now and in her grandmother's day. Worth the trip
It was very hot when we visited Olympia but our guide made sure we stopped in the shade whilst she talked to us, which was much appreciated. The visit to the olive oil shop was good and the visit to the bee farm was really interesting as the owner shared lots of information
We expected the tour to be slightly different but in the end we saw everything that we wanted to. We started late because we had to wait for people. I think it could have been a little shorter. Unfortunately since we started late it went through lunch and there was no time to eat.
If I could give this tour 10 stars I would. This was an incredible way to experience Olympia. It's hard to say which part was our favorite because we learned so much. From the history of the Olympics, the olive oil tasting we did was so amazing (they had us wanting to buy so many bottles to bring home), but the honey farm at the end was truly a fan favorite for our group. It was like being welcomed into someones home and experience honey in a new light. We' 100% do this tour again.
The cost of the trip only covered the bus ride and stop at the olive oil tasting. The Olympic ruins and honey farm were additional charges and they were the most significant tours. Also, it’s not a private tour. The honey farm and Olympic ruins tour were very good!!
Eleni was very passionate and knowledgeable about the Olympic ruins. Time there was very nice. I would have liked to have had time there on our own to wander about instead of going to the honey and olive oil places.
Great tour guide. The driver, the tour guide and the certified Olympic tour guide were all very nice, professional and knowledgeable. Enjoyed as well the honey farm and olive oil tasting
It was very informative and the olive oil and honey location very nice Wish they could include lunch
Excellent tour with a very pleasant guide. Honey farm was very interesting as was the visit to the olive oil facility
The olive oil tasting was in a run down market. The bee farm we went to didn't have bees. Most of these "tastings" were to upsell us items. The Olypmia experience would've been great, but the guide wasn't interested in giving facts or walk around with us.
This was a wonderful tour! We enjoyed the break from the large group tours offered by the cruise line. Our guide was easy to find and was mindful of time constraints to make sure we made it back by the all aboard deadline. This tour included a visit to Kilo's honey farm which we loved - Kilo does an excellent job of explaining all about the bees including how they work and make the honey and how it is extracted. Ancient Olympia is also fascinating and well worth the visit - our guide was very informative which was helpful as we explored the site.
Exactly what was advertised. Our ship was late to port but our leader made it work and we got to all our destinations. Transportation was 1st class. Americans please note they use the word flea market. It is not the same as back home. But it is a very nice shop.
They never took us to the honey farm. Instead we went to the museum, that we had to pay for out of pocket. They changed the whole tour, without giving us the option to not go and get a refund. Was supposed to be a small tour, but was a bus with 30 people. Be cautious with this company. We did speak with the instructor, they offered us a 30.00 refund for 2 people as they were complaining that they didn’t make any money on the tour.
This tour was booked as a honey, farm and olive oil and a tour of the Olympic site. We were disappointed that when we got to the honey farm there was an additional charge of €10 each and when we got to the Olympic site, there was a charge of €20 per person or we could sit in a coffee shop and do nothing! Very disappointed with the description compared to what Reality was !
The visit to the first site of the olympics was fantastic, and I found the honey farm very interesting. I would prefer to skip the olive tasting.
It was a lot of walking but interesting. Pick up was on time, good driver and tour director very informative.
Communicated well, honey farm was interesting and the Olympia tour was fascinating, would have preferred open shopping in town as opposed to the Olive tasting Both guides were excellent and very knowledgeable
We booked this tour to experience the site of the original Olympic Games, and it didn’t disappoint. Our certified guide at Olympia was outstanding — deeply knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the history and ongoing restoration of the grounds. Walking through the birthplace of the Games and learning its rich history was truly special. After our visit, we stopped at Klio’s Honey Farm, a small family-run business where we enjoyed an authentic, warm welcome and tasted some truly quality products — a lovely experience. The olive oil tasting, on the other hand, felt more like a tourist trap. Most of our group seemed eager to wrap it up and return to the ship. That said, the family-owned tour company running this experience deserves credit. Our guide took great pride in her work, and the luxury transportation — a spotless, air-conditioned Mercedes van — made the day comfortable and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a well-organized group experience with excellent transportation and a friendly, knowledgeable team, this tour delivers. If you prefer a more customized, private experience, you might consider hiring an independent local guide instead.
Terrific shore excursions!! Elena was very informative. Our tour of the archeological excavation was fantastic. Pacing was also very good. Our tour in the local market was excellent. We tasted different kinds of olive oil, honey, olives, spices and also tried different lotions, creams and other products made from olive oil. The experience at Klio’s honey farm was a highlight. Tasted quince jam and honey from the farm and enjoyed traditional Greek welcome and hospitality. Will highly recommend!! 5/5!!!!
The infirmation given regarding the ruins in Olympia was way too long!! The olive oil and honey farm were more a shopping spree rather than a historic experience.
It was such a great way to experience all the things Olympia has to offer. The stop at Klios Honey Farm was one of our favorite parts of the whole trip. We constantly bring it up how enjoyable and wholesome it was, and not to mention the honey was the best i’ve ever had! Seeing the ruins of the original Olympic games was really cool. There’s so much history and our guide was extremely knowledgeable. The Olive oil was more of a tasting then visiting a farm, I would’ve like to stop at a farm but i still really enjoyed trying all the oils and balsamic, I can’t wait to receive them in the mail. Overall, i definitely recommend this tour if you’re going to Olympia. It was more on the laid back style which we loved and also needed at this point of our journey! Everyone we met was fantastic, knowledgeable and friendly!
It’s a real family home and how they have lived for generations. We loved them. The grandparents, granddaughter and mother were so special and interesting. I would highly recommend you to go.
The tour of the original Olympic Stadium was surreal. My teenage boys and I absolutely enjoyed every minute of this excursion. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and gave us plenty of time to ask questions and take pictures. This is a must see if traveling to Greece! After the Olympic Stadium, we made a quick stop to do an olive oil tasting. The tasting was fantastic! We quickly moved onto a family owned honey farm. The owner gave us an explanation of how they farm their honey, showed us around the property and then we were able to taste a local pastry topped with their honey. Delicious!
The honey farm was a refreshing experience from the heat but it was just a farm, I did not see the actual beehives. The mini bus provided was nice but the extra fees for the bee farm and archeological sites makes the package not worth it.
This was only a tour of the Olympia and the Museum. After it was over you had an option for a Honey Tasting or stay in downtown Olympia. There was no option for Olive Oil Tasting. Very misleading.
Loved the guide Elena at the ancient Olympic Ruins. She was very knowledgeable and informative! That was really the highlight. We then went to a store on the side of the road which was terrible. It was a spot to taste the olive oils and buy t shirts…would have preferred more options or an actual olive oil making place to this. Definitely should skip this second stop. The last stop was sweet with a family run honey farm with things to taste and purchase. Could be boring for those not interested in honey making process. No actual bee hives or really seeing the process of the honey making. It was nice to cool off in the shade after a hot visit to Olympia.
Our guide and driver were excellent. Our guide Taytothta was informative and knowledgeable she made the tour fun and interesting. Best tour so far!
This was an amazing excursion. We got to see a lot of the countryside and our guide, Elena, was very knowledgeable about all of our stops, the country, the history, and made us feel completely immersed.
We loved this experience. It was the perfect amount of walking. We visited the original site of the Olympics, did an olive oil tasting and then visited the most beautiful honey farm. Our guide, Elaina was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and very attentive.
Such a sweet experience with friends. The tour guide was precious and helped with any questions we had. Klio’s Honey Farm was so quaint. Informative. Loved our sweet treats! the Olympia ruins were fascinating. That guide was precious and a great story teller!
Such an amazing day! Our group was small enough that we felt like we received personalized information and lived the hands on feel at the honey farm. The family was awesome and the entire experience was perfect for the day in Olympia. It was of my favorite adventures in Greece!
Amazing tour. Guide was informative and the tour was well paced. Vehicle was a new small bus. Visit to Olympia and the bee farm were amazing. Highly recommend this tour.
Walking through the ruins and tasting the various balsamic glaze's and honey. Our guide was very informative.
This was a great stop in Olympia! The tour of the ruins and the site of the original Olympic Games was fascinating. We also loved the honey farm. It was really interesting and enjoyed some sweet treats! Our guides were so knowledgeable of the region and the archeological sites!!
Tour of the site of the ancient Olympics wonderful. Guide very knowledgeable. The rest totally unnecessary and guide looked bored as we were.
Our tour guide was wonderful., knowledgeable and so mindful that we all had a good time. Love the honey farm and olive oil tasting
The tour of olympia was the down side of this tour is it’s a tourist trap. You go to a honey farm and they do a nice job but there are no actual hives there. Also the olive oil is nothing more Than a store not an actual olive farm
Excellent tour. The guides were very informative. Enjoyed the honey farm and the ruins. The walking was mild so anyone can do it
I can not say enough good things about this tour, it was one of the highlights of our vacation. Our guide was exceptional and made the tour feel personable and beyond welcoming. Klio’s honey farm was amazing, the true essence of Greek culture. They will make you feel so welcomed and like part of the family. We learned so much and had a delicious lesson in honey. Highly recommend this tour and definitely will be doing this tour again when we return to Olympia.
We loved the tour of Olympus! We also liked the olive oil tasting and getting to stroll in the quaint towns of Olympus. I highly recommend!
I can’t see enough about how great this tour was! The site of Olympia was amazing and Alena was an excellent guide. She made the whole site come to life. Klio’s Honey Farm was excellent too. I learned so much and felt like I had been in tied into Klio’s home for a chat. There is no better way to get a feel for the culture of a place. I would highly recommend!
Great guide. Interesting facts. Very relatable, good driver. Stops were great. All in all it was as defined and better.
Olympia tour and guide was good. Olive oil tasting was great with a large selection to taste, then you could buy from the store if you wanted. Honey farm was also good and the owner gave a nice presentation of how things work and some history. However, I think the 10 euro/pp fee is a bit much for what you get. The honey was very tasty. Overall, good, not great. Value of the whole trip, not great, although guides I know cost more $$.
The Ancient Olympic Stadium is breathtaking and the history there is awesome. Great tour guide! The Honey Farm was super fun too. Highly recommend this tour!
Our excellent guide made this trip. Great history lesson that enriched our experience of the Olympia visit. We also thoroughly enjoyed the visit to the honey farm. Beautiful and relaxing.
