Blue Hole Waterfalls + Bamboo River Rafting Tour From Ocho Rios

Me and my daughter had an awesome time. New adventures. The travel to the destination is a little nerve racking, because of the roads. But once you get there its an amazing view. Our driver was excellent also.

Blue hole was a blast!!! It was very refreshing. We weren't able to do the bamboo rafting because it began to rain pretty heavily. But we ended up going to Margaritaville and enjoying ourselves there. Tour guide was very helpful.

We had a great and wonderful experience during our visit. Our driver provided excellent customer service and was super friendly. I would highly recommend this company for all of your tour needs while visiting Jamaica.

I had an amazing experience and would recommend this excursion to everyone who’s going to be in Ocho Rios. We started off with bamboo rafting which was super relaxing and then ended with at the Blue Hole. Our driver was awesome and made us feel very safe.

Jason was our driver and he was so friendly and great. He pointed out spots to us along the way to our excursion and really showed us a great time. The bamboo rafting was a super cool experience, and very relaxing too. The Blue Hole was the best! Dino was our guide and he helped us conquer our fears of jumping in. He took us to the best spots along the hike to some of the falls, and we had a great time.

This experience was everything ! Jason was our driver . He called when he arrived to our hotel and got us to our excursion on time . While driving he provided us with great information about the area we were staying in . I would definitely recommend anyone to book with this company . This was the best experience for me EVER ‼️‼️

SSJ Tours was absolutely amazing during our recent trip to Montego Bay. Jamoi & Jason were knowledgeable, accommodating and funny! We were a group of 4 women and felt extremely comfortable and safe with SSJ. They even accommodated last minute requests and offered suggestions based on our timeline and preferences! Bamboo rafting is so over hyped… The blue hole was very fun!!! Mangoes over priced 5 and 10 dollars I rather climb the tree!!!

I've been to Jamaica 3 times now and this is the best thing I've done on the island. Travis at SSJ tours was early to pick us up and was an excellent driver. We could not gave driven up in the hills with the traffic. The blue hole was amazing and kind of a workout swimming around in the currents so the bamboo raft was the perfect relaxing activity to do immediately afterward. We felt like we had experienced a full day but SSJ had us back to our hotel in Tower Isle by 10:30 am. It was great to go on an adventure hand have most of the day left to relax by the ocean.

The big jump at the Blue hole was fun & a blast. I'm in my 60's & wore sensible water shoes. Everyone was helpful & made me fell safe as well as having a great time!! The raft trip was nearby, not a 2 hour bus trip. A sip of local rum & a coke, was a fine way to relax, with 20 minutes or so sitting on the beach. Fairly priced and a really good time & value. Everyone was very concerned about my Wife & I not hurting ourselves and they were very professional. And fun! Fun is the one thing that money can't buy!

Our airport pickup with Roxanne was amazing, she was very informative and friendly. Jamoy was one of the most professional, helpful and courteous tour operators I’ve ever met. He was very easy going about our last minute changes we made from Dunns River Falls to the Blue Hole waterfalls. He ensured me and my friends were well taken care of throughout our entire stay in Jamaica. The Blue hole water falls and bamboo river rafting is definitely a must when visiting Ocho Rios! Jay the owner of this company is not a legit business owner. Because he repeatedly hires people that is inappropriately touching female tourist in groups & solo. I heard Jay in 2021 & 2022. In 2021 I was with a male & therefore everyone was professional. This year I reached back out for his services & he lured me in & handed me off to two different me on separate days that violated me during excursions. My now viral video explaining this further in detail has reached 1Mil views & thousands of comments of women saying this happened to them as well. SSJ Tours & his staff aren’t taken accountability or taking these things serious & this must stop. They are money hungry people & I would not trust them. TikTok: SnootyGals

My partner Rory and I can't thank Nate and the team at SSJ enough for this amazing excursion! I inquired for a personalized private tour due to an injury (we really wanted to horseback ride but couldn't) and they were able to accommodate with no problem at all. On our way to our first stop at Blue Hole, our driver and guide Nate - was pointing out historic spots and teaching us more about Jamaica and it's history. We even made a pit stop to meet up with Jamoy (also from SSJ tours and was my point of contact via email prior to the trip) because he wanted to say hi, he surprised us with a fresh coconut for our drive, which was delicious! Even though it was our fourth time in Jamaica, it felt like the first with how much we were learning. Our stop at Blue Hole was amazing, such a natural beauty and Nate took care of everything for us upon arriving and set us up with an amazing local guide - Ricardo (guides are required due to the trek into this spot). After we jumped off some waterfalls - we headed over to White River (which was a very short drive) for a bamboo raft, our guide there Beckham was amazing - hilarious, fun, and telling us more about the history of the river, including the historic reggae hall there. I won't say too much else about the bamboo raft, because it will spoil the surprise if you go there yourself - but it is definitely a must do! Overall, we couldn't recommend SSJ tours, but especially Nate enough! If you inquire definitely ask for Nate - you won't regret it. He is the perfect mix of a tour guide, but also putting on some good tunes and letting you take in the beauty of Jamaica on your way to your excursion! Our trip to Ocho Rios was perfection thanks to the personal service we received everywhere we went. Our driver “J” made sure we were well taken care of by pairing us with guides that made sure each excursion was full of lasting memories. For us, it was people we met along the way that made our trip wonderful. Even though the rain the night before made the “Blue” Hole not so blue, Gleniel, our guide, threw in bonus time with a Jamaican clay spa making our skin silky smooth. It was the best! Fitting in one more adventure before having to leave paradise we decided on Calypso River rafting! It was relaxing, fun and educational as well. Our guide, “Flowers” they called him, was very knowledgeable about the river and it’s surroundings. We learned how resourceful Jamaicans really are and about different remedies for various ailments found just along the rivers edge. We are already looking forward to our next vacation and to see what amazing suggestions Jamoy may have for us next!

We absolutely love the river rafting and blue hole tour with Jamoy. He was super cool, friendly and very professional! He answered all our questions and accommodated our needs during our time with him. He waited patiently for us and made sure all our belongings was secured. He had great conversation pleasant spirit. My sister & I visited Jamaica for the first time & stayed in Ocho Rios for the first half. Jay was our driver & was on time when picking us up. We signed up for river rafting online & our ride/guide for that was such a great time! Played great music, was informative, and just let us relax. We were never rushed & he made sure we were okay the whole time. We then decided last minute we wanted to see blue hole as well while we were out & Jay was very accommodating! Once we got there, he got us a guided tour so quickly & then the tour guide we had there was so patient with us & offered to take all photo/video footage for us. After blue hole, we got a bit hungry & wanted to try Scotchies since we heard so much about it & Jay took us there too with no problem. We enjoyed his company over food & drinks & it was very refreshing. I would definitely recommend Jay as a driver over & over again & the river rafting as well!

My bestie and I Came to Jamaica and left adding to our Family!! Nathaniel/Nate was the best host/driver we could have ever asked for with SSJ Tours. Picked us up from our Resort in Montego Bay and it was all she wrote!! Ended up in Ochi starting with the Blue Hole waterfall, then to the Calypso River Rafting and lastly, the beautiful Luminous Lagoon.
