Blue Hole And River Tubing Ocho Rios

Ray was the best tour guide . This excursion was 10/10 experience and highly recommend booking Omar’s tours .

Amazing tour!! We had so much fun! Ray was amazing and made sure we had a great time! The blue hole was so beautiful and the river tubing was a lot of fun! Many smiles and laughs were shared! I highly recommend!!! We will be back again!

We waited at least a half hour standing at the port before we were even offered to load in the bus. We then waited another 5-10 minutes before taking off because of another couple who hadn’t showed up. They did warn a group of four people they would be dropped off to a private car because they were doing something everyone else wasn’t. Other than that little communication was given. Our party of 5 was dropped off first for tubing the river. I wish I had known before to be completely ready in only things you wanted to get wet and the rest was staying on the bus, because we held the bus up. Tubing was short and the guide insisted on drenching us. We then had to walk to the road and waited for our bus. It was caught in traffic so they crammed us into a tiny car with a driver and our guide. Unexpected adventure I guess. The blue hole was next and by far the best part of the excursion. I would have rather done just that and spent more time there. They offered to take us to lunch and shopping after (expenses not included), again wasn’t aware this was part of it. They of course picked the place. Food was mediocre, pricey at $20 a plate, service was slow. We ended up declining shopping because everyone was worried about time. Our driver was good though. Did try to push a little about shopping but ultimately was respectful about it. I don’t know that I would say $100 a person was worth this specific excursion. Maybe if we had just done the blue hole I would feel differently.

The river tubing was very short, nothing exciting, come prepared to jump in water. No time to change/place to. Blue hole was wonderful and deserved a 5 star! Our guide was amazing! Wish we had just done the blue hole and had more time there. Wasn’t aware they take you to lunch (cost not included) and shopping. We ended up telling the driver to skip shopping cause we felt short on time. I’m sure they have some kind of deal with those locations, as he seemed to push a little about wanting to take us shopping. Lunch was just ok and a little pricey for what you got. Our driver was great. Our wait time to get on the bus was a little long, having to wait for others sharing it with us. Overall Omar excursions was a great company to use and definitely recommend the Blue Hole!

I was worried about the length of our trip that was booked due to time differences, but I reached out and was assured we could start as soon as we got to Port. An Omar Tours rep met us at the gate of the port and showed us to the van. Our driver Pete (PJ) was a total delight and gave us a tour of the town along the way. My husband and I rode back to the port with Omar who was equally hospitable. At the Blue Hole, our guide CJ really made sure to keep us safe. The Viator ad makes it look like I've swimming hole, but it's a series of pools and waterfalls you climb up and jump into. Some of us were a little nervous and he got everything through just fine. We choose the option for tubing after and our guide Eric navigated us down river for a very pleasant ride. I highly recommend this tour!!!

This was a great experience and every aspect was top notch! The ride from our hotel to tubing location was fast. Shared some history of the island along the way. Tubing was cold but fleshing so. Guide with us the entire way with a stop along for some Jamaica punch. then on to the blue hole. Another great experience. Lindo watched out for us and challenged the group to jump at all fallls. This was a great excursion! Highly recommend it.

My girls and I LOVED every minute of it. Ray is THE BEST guide and very informative, kind, and helpful! We were able to get to the attractions before it was swamped with other tourist. Hands down book with OMAR TOURS you won't regret it!! 10/10. Try to contact them directly if you can.

We booked Omar Tours for the Blue Hole and River Tubing excursion in Ocho Rios, and it was one of the best decisions we made during our Virgin Voyages cruise. This was a couples trip for me and my best friend’s birthday, and we were initially hesitant to book an excursion outside of the cruise company. However, once the cruise line canceled our original excursion, we decided to book it ourselves, and the entire process was seamless. From the start, Omar Tours made everything easy. I was able to enter our group’s travel and disembarkation information without any issues, and it was very easy to coordinate everything from the States before we arrived. Once we got off the ship, finding the team was simple, and they were ready for us. Our guide was amazing, friendly, professional, and made sure we had a great time. The Blue Hole was beautiful, river tubing was so much fun, and the entire experience felt organized and stress-free. We also appreciated the lunch stop and shopping stop, which made the day feel complete. I would definitely recommend Omar Tours to anyone visiting Ocho Rios, especially cruise passengers who may be nervous about booking outside of the cruise line. They made the experience easy, safe, and memorable.

We had an amazing experience at the Blue Hole in Ocho Rios! Our guide, Ray, made the tour unforgettable—he was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel completely safe while still keeping things fun and adventurous. He showed us the best spots for jumping, swimming, and photos, and his energy really elevated the whole experience. Highly recommend this tour, and if you can, ask for Ray!

5 star experience. Had a wonderful private experience with Ray as our driver. He showed us a little bit around the area and then headed to blue hole which we were the only ones there which was so nice! Definitely worth going early in the morning. We had booked to do the tubing but due to rain overnight was unable but we had a great experience with Captain OB on a bamboo river raft. He is a vibe for sure! Lime stone massage on the legs was very respectful for being with my husband. Best price, best experience, and the best memories.

From the beginning to the end Tracy was an amazing tour guide. Our tours were at the pace we wanted and she shared her insights on Jamaican life. We did 3 different activities which were all great fun. On the bamboo rafting and the blue hole she made sure we had the best guides. Thank you to Andre and Jay for looking after us so well. The communication from Tracy and the tour operator was excellent throughout. I would 100% recommend booking this tour with Omar Tours Jamaica and especially with Tracy.

Tracy did an amazing job taking us around to all the locations. Our guide at blue hole was amazing. Great sense of humor and made the experience excellent. The tubing and rafting was good but we didn’t really care for the pressure to buy “trinkets”. Riding a horse into the ocean was awesome but some of the horses seemed to need some medical attention. Overall great experience.

Tracy was great! She took us to dunns river and the blue hole and set us up with great tour guides. Tracy was very friendly and informative I would reccomend this tour to anyone coming to Jamaica!

Tracy and Brittany were fabulous hosts! They took care of us throughout the tours and even educated us on the areas and sites that we visited and passed. They were conversing throughout the journey which made the time more engaging and entertaining. Both even made sure we were taken care of with each tour guide throughout bamboo rafting, blue hole and dunns river. Definitely recommend them!

Listen.... Tracy & Britney don't play when it comes to looking after you and making sure you get the best experience. These ladies really made us feel the love. Absolutely blessed to have found them on Viator. Punctual (came 15 minutes early), communicated with me before arrival and even took us around town to find a cashpoint (sorry ladies!). Also, don't play with Britney's tiktok skills, talented! 100% my go to duo when I come back. Thankyou for everything ladies ❤️

Tracy with Omar Tours Jamaica 🇯🇲 was absolutely the best!!! We experience the Blue Hole, Dunn’s Falls, Shopping and she even made an extra stop so we could experience Scotchie’s famous jerk chicken. Will definitely use her again when we make our way back. She is amazing and accommodated our large group every step of the way. 10 out of 10!
