Blue Hole And Konoko Falls Combo Tour From Ocho Rios & Runaway Bay!

Easy pick up from cruise port. Unfortunately due to rain the blue hole was murky and not blue but our guide was amazing! He took us to several jumping spots and took care of us as we crossed some rough waters. He adjusted the jump heights based on each person and the photographer got some great shots. Our family had a great time there. The other portion of the tour was okay. It’s basically a lot of birds and gardens. The falls are pretty but we would have been fine without that stop. Although my husband enjoyed the jerk chicken that was being cooked by some locals in the parking lot. At the end we were taken to Andy’s - souvenirs, liquor and jewelry before being dropped off at the port. Blue hole portion is worth it!!

Best time while visiting Blue Hole and Konoko Falls. Our guide was Daron Brown and was so accommodating. I’m 65 years old and had the time of my life jumping in the pools along with my wife. I would highly recommend. He also stopped at a place to do some great shopping. Five Stars!😊👍❤️

Gorgeous falls and pools and blue hole! Cold air comfy transportation. Botanical garden and museum are included at Konoko, a few caged animals and birds to see up close. Didn't see the croc. The climb was fairly easy with grippy water shoes . Actually every morning a pathway is scrubbed to make it non slip and of course they are right there offering a hand or two even taking a video for us, carrying my stuff ( I brought too much stuff, keep it simple with just your phone on a lanyard or wristlet). There’s a lot of hand holding ! Uncrowded on a Thursday mid day. …the place is stunning ! I only wish we could have stayed the day and that they had cleaner lifejackets for us. At one of the falls we saw a little trash here and there , like plastic bottles. We did see a bar but wasn’t sure it was open. Picture perfect surreal and tranquil yet exciting! Wonderful, attentive staff at all times. Most Excellent day! TIP: bring lots of tip cash because there are several gracious employees working to make this perfect for us! We must’ve tipped 6 different guides along the way for this one excursion! Unforgettable day!

Just for context, I traveled with my family (4 adults and 1 child) and we are all strong swimmers in moderate physical shape. We had an amazing time! Our driver, Mr. Buchanan, was very kind and accommodating to us. We felt in safe hands with him the entire trip! Kinoko Falls was absolutely gorgeous. I had never visited Dunns River and was worried my little one (age 5) wouldn't be able to do the trek, so we opted for here instead. We had a lovely tour guide, Monique, that educated us on the different plants in the garden. The climb up the falls was exhilarating! We joined a larger group of people when we did the climb. There were 2 gentleman there to assist the entire time (***I do recommend good non-slip water shoes because the rocks can be very slippery***). There were a couple animals and even opportunities to take pictures with them. Blue Hole was breathtaking! From the water to the natural landscape, it was such a surreal experience. We had another guide, Junior, that guided us through the water to different activities. He was excellent with making sure we were able to get a chance to engage in diving and the "Tarzan jump" because there were many locals there as well. He was also very vigilant of my little one, often holding her hand when terrain became tricky to navigate. I will say, the water was very cold (I am from Miami so it may not be too bad for many) but the weather was hot and humid so it was very refreshing. Overall, I highly recommend this experience. We greatly appreciate all the individuals that played a part in exceeding our expectations and we are looking to return to JA soon!

Mr. Wayne was professional, and our guides were great as well. My daughter and I felt safe with AMario at Blue Hole. We enjoyed some coconut water, sugar cane, and jack fruit. Konoko falls contained beautifully tropical flowers, birds, turtles, and other animals. There's a trampoline and playground on the premises. The dining was destroyed, unfortunately, by the previous storm.

We had the best driver Wayne who really guided us, taught us new things and really gave a tour while he was driving. He showed us around, made an extra stop at the ATM for us, and just absolutely took care of us. We loved him! It was the small extra things like he stopped the van to pull off a leaf from a tree he drove by explaining you can chew and it makes your mouth numb and, they use it for the dentist. We tried it and it worked! Just absolutely brought a personal touch to it. Our guides at both the blue hold and Konoko falls were great! This was our favorite stop on the trip! So fun!

We visited Ocho Rios last week on a cruise & did the Blue Hole tour. Our driver was Darren and he was fabulous! Picked us up on time, the van had AC, he was so nice & took care of us for the entire day (even dropping us off at a restaurant for lunch & the beach at the end of the trip). He made sure that we knew where to go & left his number with the locals in case we needed him to pick us up early. He made the day amazing! Now, the Blue Hole was FABULOUS! I climbed Dunn’s River Falls many years ago & felt that it was a little dangerous. We had a 7 year old with us this time so I wanted something a little less strenuous. The people at the Blue Hole were very nice & they had an organized system. They took excellent care of my kiddo, even picking him up at times when he was having trouble crossing in areas. They start you off with small jumps & slowly work your way up to the 15 foot ledge. By the time that we made it to the big falls, my kiddo had worked up his courage & took the big plunge!! The photos were so awesome that we had to get them. They were sent to me the same day! Highly recommend this excursion!!!

This was amazing. A highlight of our vacation! Wayne was an excellent host and driver, and he felt like family at the end of our tour. The Blue Hole went way beyond expectations. Because we were there so early, we had the whole place to ourselves. I thought it was just a place to swim, but it's a beautiful network of waterfalls and swimming holes. Scenery is beautiful and it's so much fun. A few things to note: this tour involves a lot of climbing and exertion. You need to be in good shape and a strong swimmer. Also bring cash for tips for your guide. Our guide Junior was a treasure and took wonderful care of us across the rock formations. Next, we ventured to Konoko Falls. We first had a tour of the botanical gardens and met some animals. Ziggy the iguana was our favorite! Then our first guide (another cash tip!) handed us off to our lifeguard guide Wayan, who was another excellent find (and another cash tip!). Again, we had the entire waterfall to ourselves and had an amazing time. This is another tour where you need to be in great shape. And water shoes are a must. After the climb, Wayne took us to an amazing jerk restaurant. Then brought us to a shopping area and rum tasting. Overall an excellent value, great customer service, and a perfect cruise ship excursion. Recommend this tour highly!

I chose this over a Dunn’s River expedition, as I wanted something less intense for myself and my 13 year old son. The staff in both places were friendly and professional, and my son had an awesome time at the Blue Hole! The driver was prompt and attentive, and it ended up being just the two of us, so it was not a group trip. He was friendly and helpful, and I would definitely use them again next time I come back to this side of Jamaica

Fabulous day out. The garden in Konoko falls were a real surprise. Enjoyed the ascent up the waterfall and the plunge pool at the end. Blue hole was the highlight. Really exhilarating. Big thank you to the guides.

Wayne was on time to pick up our family of 4. We were the only ones so this was great as it wasn’t a bus load full of people! He told us due to the heavy rain the night before the blue hole was very dirty and would not be a good idea. The company called me and tried to help us as much as they could! They offered to reschedule the entire day or just do the falls that day and the blue hole the next. Due to our plans we decided to just do the Konoko falls and skip the blue hole. We were sad but understood it wasn’t their fault for it raining. The falls were amazing. We loved them more than dunns river because we were the only ones there! The animals were nice and the guide was amazing with my 8 year old! Bring cash through the falls as their is a restaurant to buy drinks and local food if you want and tip the guide! When we got back they called me again and advised they would refund some of our money due to the rained out blue hole and they were good on their word as we did receive a refund!

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Wayne Buchanan. He was informative, polite, a safe driver, and just all around amazing energy. Every location we visited the staff spoke very highly of Wayne and I couldn’t agree with them more. We were celebrating a birthday and he went above and beyond to make our day special. We really appreciated him and would recommend him to any and everyone and will be looking him up upon our return.

This was a great trip to the Blue Hole (especially stunning)& Konoko Falls. Wayne B. was our driver & he was absolutely fantastic. One of the reasons we booked this was because of the reported small groups & it was just me & my boyfriend. Amazing trip! Amazing people! Our driver, Wayne, was so kind and patient and provided the best experience for us to enjoy both locations. He was full of advice and assistance and we really appreciated him.

Our driver was easy going and friendly. Beautiful secret falls/blue hole and not busy.We are 60 plus and we had a guide. Guide was strong and helped me up the falls. My husband was fine on his own and didn't have to worry about me.There are different heights to jump off into water...so we picked the lowest height.Konoko Falls beautiful also and there are stairs all the way down the falls.

Everything about this trip was perfect! Wayne who was our very insightful and knowledgeable driver was there right on time to pick us up. He drove very well and I felt safe with him the entire time. First we went to Konoko Falls, but they were not open yet for some reason. So, Wayne brought us over to the Blue Hole. Our guide for this part was Sam and he was amazing! He encouraged us to do all of the jumping but never forced us to do anything we didn't want to do. He took a TON of pictures for us as well on our own cameras which was awesome! The Blue Hole itself was a fun and exciting experience even at 9:00 in the morning. We headed back to Konoko Falls where our guide Monique took us around and was again very knowledgeable and told us all about the plants and wildlife that was around us. Then we had a choice to do the falls alone or with a guide, we opted to do it alone and at our own pace. The falls were absolutely beautiful with several pools of water to stop and relax in. The climb was easy and we took it slow. I only wish I had a waterproof pouch for this part because I would've loved some pictures as we went. I would highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a little excitement!

Wonderful time. Jacques Tours was on time, experienced and made it so easy for us. Stopped for some Jamaican Juici Beef Patties and Red Stripe Beer on our way back from Konoko Falls and Blue Hole.

This excursion was absolutely amazing!! The driver Wayne was very informative and took care of everything. The tour guides at both locations were very great. I can't give this company enough praise.

Javier was an amazing guide. He went above and beyond to make sure we were all comfortable. I booked the smaller tour for$50. We then paid our own entry fees. It was just the 3 of us. It was the best time.

Wayne picked us up at our hotel and we started at the blue hole, it was not what I expected but ended up being a thrill. It was a bit much for our toddler but he made it through. Konoko falls was great for all of us. He and grandma both hiked up the falls with the help from our guide. It was an amazing and very thrilling experience. Highly recommend it but be prepared to be wet.

We had an awesome experience! It was really nice that it was just the two of us and we were on our own time. Daron even stopped at a local jerk shop on the way back so that we could try some local cuisine. 10/10 recommend!!

We highly recommend this tour. From start to finish the whole tour has been very pleasant. Our guide Wayne was very friendly and super accommodating. I love the small group size, it ended up being the two of us and a family of three. None of the excursions provided from our cruise included Kanoko Falls and I’m very happy we chose this and we did not want to be with a group of 20+ people. The falls included a sanctuary and mini zoo for exploring. After visiting the falls we were brought to Blue hole which was not super far, again the guides there were extremely friendly and allowed us to have a great time jumping and swimming at the hole. This portion was a little shorter but great to end with since we were really hot and sweaty from the first activity. Afterwards I wanted to try a local Jamaican patty and Wayne made sure to take me to one. If you like less crowds and more flexibility in your tour chose this!

We did blue hole,river tubing and kinoko falls combo tour,blue hole is good,not for the faint hearted,I bottles it on the last jump haha,river tubing was so relaxing and kinoko falls was so good and refreshing. Our driver daron brown was absolutely class,telling us about the history of the island as we drove round from one trip to the next,good music played in the car,air conditioning on full wich is absolutely needed and the a quick lunch at scotchies afterwoods on the way home,daron asked if we wanted to stop at a souvenirs but we were absolutely exhausted,but all in all I couldn't recommend Jacques tours enough

From the start the pick up was early and waiting. The driver was first class ( Jaques ) informative and kept the journey interesting for me and my son. The waterfall and parks were breathtaking and once again the guides around the park were full of local knowledge and had all the answers to my questions about the local plants and wildlife. The Waterfalls guide who took us up was really attentive and catered to our skill level and pace during the climb up the waterfalls. The Blue Hole is a must adventure in Jamaica. I was apprehensive about the jump but our guide ( Xavier ) was full of encouragement and I had no hesitation in poleaxing the safety of me and my son in his experienced hands!! Big Up and Well Done

At had a great time and it was a private for verses a large crowd. Our driver Mica was amazing and the guide at Blue Hole was really great, a lot of fun, he kept the phone and took pictures like crazy for us and of us. This is the best tour of Blue Hole and there are a few which aren't as good. Then Mica took us to Konoko and we had a private guide take us through the gardens and animals and then we ended up with a larger group waking up the walls which was fun. A really great experience and I highly recommend this operator vs others.

Listen this was the best idea I had .. We came in on a cruise ship our driver Darren sent us an update prior to traveling. The cost includes the service each park charges a 20 dollar fee . I thought that was much until we had the experience. We had our own driver while everyone else was in groups of 15-30. And we had our own guides. The blue hole is really all you will need i left there feeling so full!!! Our guide Coco was the bomb he made sure we were safe and got to have the experiences we wanted. The Kokomo falls is the amazing park of natural remedies and beautiful things and also has falls you can climb if you have enough time. Our guide Winston there was very informative. I would def recommend and do this again if I have the chance. Bring cash for tips., at the blue hole be sure to have some funds for opportunities to along the way. The air smelled of Grilled jerk chicken along the way that you will want to taste. U need water socks or shoes u can where in the water. This is a win!!!

This trip was a highlight of my time here in Jamaica. Our driver picked us up on time in an air -conditioned van and drove us first to the blue hole. We then had Robert/guide take us on a walking tour of the blue hole. We felt very safe and secure with him. I was nervous with my mom stepping on the rocks but Robert helped her through out the walk. The blue hole is beautiful and there’s plenty of opportunities for pictures. Next our driver took us to Konoko Falls and the gardens and waterfalls were absolutely beautiful and we were able to walk around at our own pace. Our driver also took us to the Taj Mahal shopping center and to Pizza Hut to get something to eat for the ride home. Just excellent driver who made extra stops for us and the sight seeing was very nice.

Wayne was absolutely fabulous! I learned so much about the culture of Ocho Rios. Wayne was friendly and informative. We first went to Blue Hole, which is a must see! Excellent service. I would definitely book with Jacques Tours Jamaica again!

The blue hole is a blast! Cliff jumping and swinging into the water. Monologue Falls is beautiful. Wayne was a great guide!

We liked everything about this tour. Our driver Wayne was fantastic. He was prompt, knowledgeable, made it fun for our daughter. Our guide at Blue Hole was really nice as well. We decided to do a self guided tour at Konoko falls and really liked it.

Javier at Blue Hole was a great guide! The gentleman that did our mini-zoo tour at Konoko Falls was kind and informative. As a note, the jumps at Blue Hole are what I would consider "high adventure". The "can everyone swim" question I would rephrase as "are you a strong swimmer?" The Konoko Falls hike is mild-moderate intensity.

Our private driver was amazing, he stopped and picked local fruit for us to try and shared local stories and information. We drove to the blue hole where we were guided by a super friendly guide who took tons of videos and photos with my camera for us to enjoy/keep after. Our driver then took us to Konoko falls where we again had a private tour and got to climb the beautiful falls and enjoy the park. We were able to explore at our leisure and leave on our own time. Our driver then offered to stop at some local shops for us to look at souvenirs. All and all a wonderful, fantastic experience. Highly recommend the blue hole and Konoko falls as a more private experience than Dunns River falls which is way more busy.

We left our Runaway Bay resort with Jervis, our private mini van driver, and was taken to the Blue Hole followed by Konoko Falls. The Blue Hole was both beautiful and action packed! We leaped into the crystal clear, blue waters from several different vantage points. Our guide at the Blue Hole was outstanding. We were then taken to Konoko Falls where we were greeted by yet another amazing guide. We were taken on a very nice botanical tour, through a museum where we learned about the history of Jamaica (which was pretty dark in colonial times), through a really cool animal exhibit where we saw several birds and reptiles that are native to the island and finished with a hike alongside beautiful Konoko Falls. When we reached the bottom, we were able to climb the limestone waterfall at a leisurely pace. It was incredible and oh so beautiful! We highly recommend this particular excursion. Make sure you bring cash for your entry fees, as this particular adventure only covers your transportation to and from the sites. It's so worth it to have the private driver! You can stow your items safely in the mini van while you're doing the activities. Jervis was very kind, knowledgeable and waited for us at every stop. He also helped us pick up a few souvenirs on the way back to our resort. It was an awesome day!

The scenery was absolutely beautiful and our guides were knowledgeable and very kind. We could not have asked for better guides. This was an experience that I will always treasure.

The experience at the Blue Hole and Konoko Falls was great!! I would highly recommend both of these attractions! The driver Jervais was mediocre, he left the venue at the first attraction and we waited in the hot sun for over 30 minutes before he returned. After that he was quiet for the rest of the day. It was definitely off-putting.

We had the best time ever on this tour my guides where the best ever!!! My family had the Best time. From the time we got off the ship it was organized and informative.

Amazing experience, got there early so we were the only ones there. Konoko falls is gorgeous, recommend it to anyone looking for the falls experience. But don't want to deal with the crowd of Dunn's. We didn't know the dam was open that day so the water current was pretty strong at Blue hole. I would recommend wearing the life jacket if you are not a strong swimmer.

It was beautiful. The guides were nice. The driver was patient and very helpful. We received beautiful photos. My 5 yo, 12 yo, 16 yo and 19 yo had a great time.

JACQUES Tour company is professional from beginning to the end. If you are looking to feel safe and also have courteous service look no further! Jacques was always responsive and no "ask" was impossible! I can't wait to return and will not hesitate to use this company. Ask for Judine and Courtney the driver.

Of all of the excursions we took on our Western Caribbean cruise, this was the best excursion. If you don't want to jump into the water at the Blue Hole, you can simply walk around and enjoy the scenery.

The tour company is only the cost of the taxi. There are extra fees to see the parks. 40.00 per person for Konoko Falls. This "Blue Hole" turns brown and not conducive to swimming when it rains. I pain 100.00 US to take a taxi there and it was disgusting. Be careful. Konoko Falls after paying a 40.00 per person fee, the gardens are limited, and we were put in a group with 2 handicap people and never did the falls part of the trip that we paid for. Again, the rain made the water brown. This was a VERY expensive day to ride around in a taxi. Expect this to turn into a 300.00 day for 2 people all in.

The day started with us being met promptly at Ochos Rios port by our driver. He was friendly and confidently navigated the chaotic traffic and windey roads to get to our first stop, the blue hole. There we met our guide who was enthusiastic and knowledgable. He walked us through the beautiful rainforest paths to the blue hole and left half the group to enjoy the freshwater pool and the braver half to climb down the waterfall and jump from the platform. We all had a go on the swing jump and then moved on to our next stop. Konoko falls park was beautiful and our guide, Andrew gave a fascinating account of the history of Jamaica, the local slang and the plants and animals that can be found there. We climbed the falls, looked in the secret cave and admired the beautiful island from the view point. Overall, the tour was brilliant, as were all the staff we encountered at both venues. We definitely recommend visiting Blue Hole and Konoko Falls and cant imagine a better tour company than Jacques tours.. it was an amazing day.
