Blue Hole And Dunn's River Falls Ocho Rios

Ray went above and beyond to make sure that me and my family had the best time. We really enjoyed the activities, and Lyndon was a great help at Blue Hole - he was incredibly patient and kind, which put my family at ease to jump in when they started to get nervous. I'd recommend touring with Omar Tours for all of your Ocho Rios excursions.

Energetic activity. Omar's family drove a beautiful shuttle and took great care of us. Great a/c. Make sure you bring many bills for tips for 5 individuals. And some expect you have the $ on you in the water. Very fun. Got back to cruise ship in plenty of time. Felt safe.

We had an amazing tour guide, Ray! He was super fun and knowledgeable. He gave us a lot of history about the local areas, and took us to a local spot to eat. Shout out to our guides at the Blue hole as well! Amazing experience!

This was the second time my wife and I had visited the Blue Hole/DRF, and the first for 4 others in our group. The Blue Hole is a gem in Ocho and will not disappoint. DRF, is a site to see but more busy and touristy overall. A big reason for the 5 star rating was our guide Ray from Omar Tours Jamaica. Ray was knowledgeable about the area and included historic/landmark information as we travelled through Ocho and up to the Blue Hole. He made us feel safe, is very personable, and genuinely a good human being. Ray was super easy to deal with and we used him directly for a few other outings throughout the week we were in Ocho, including a Dinner out at the old fisherman’s village and a visit to Mystic Mountain. If you’re in Ocho and want to experience it off the resort, I highly recommend Ray @ Omar Tours Jamaica.

Ray was our driver and came with us the whole way, he took pictures for us and recommended wonderful local shopping and restaurants.. would 100% book with him again

Ray (Omar’s brother) was a brilliant tour guide. Picked us up right on time and in a very comfortable vehicle. The blue hole felt like a private trip as we seemed to be the only ones there, Ray and Lindo really looked after us nervous middle aged people! They even managed to persuade me to do the big jump which was amazing. Dunns river falls was packed with people but Ray managed to get us to the front of the queue with his magic, it was good to do it once but I wouldn’t go again just due to the crowds. I’d go back to the blue hole tomorrow though! Would highly recommend Ray and his tour company, we will def use them again if we return to Jamaica.

Sam and Riri were AWESOME!! They had everything planned perfectly. We ended up doing all 3 excursions and they still managed to get us back to port with an hour to spare (which included a stop for lunch & shopping). Also appreciated that our group size was relatively small. Would recommend this highly to anyone visiting Ochos Rios, they are the BEST!

Great tour and our guide was great! Traveled with a 14 year old, 17 year old, 18 year old, 19 year old, and my husband and I. Had a nice time!

Our tour guide Ray was absolutely the best! He was informative and personalized the tour to our needs. We had plenty of time for the Blue Hole, Dunn's Falls, shopping, and then lunch. I would definitely recommend using Omar Tours Jamaica!

Two river parks but they are different and worth going. In one you jump from the waterfalls and in the other one you climb them. Beautiful nature all around the island. And the tour guy Ray gave us a lot of information during the tour and even took me to get a delicious Jamaican patty. Fully recommend the tour and the company!

Ray was a great driver! Very friendly sharing with us about local area spots, and took us a long with two other groups to a few different excursion spots. We enjoyed Dunns River Falls and Blue Hole, while others enjoyed rafting, and I think another spot as well. We also was offered a stop to get some local food - but we all skipped it (tired). Additionally, Ray took us to a shopping center - that was a GREAT idea versus looking at all the tourist stops (especially after Dunns River Falls - a ton of people trying to sell us stuff!!! Just say no tbh). Make sure you have cash for tips for excursions outings like this - everything really benefits from a little tip (blue hole guide which is required, highly recommend a Dunns River falls guide too, etc etc and you definitely should tip your driver as they get you everywhere!) We ran low on cash for this reason but there was an ATM at the shopping center too and of course there are fees but what's new? :)

Awesome experience! Tracy was an amazing driver and gave us the pertinent information. She is really sweet and took us shopping for souvenirs. Blue Hole with Island Gully Falls was a great experience, and we felt safe jumping into the water the whole time! Dunn’s River Falls was a once in a lifetime experience!

It was beautiful and exciting. The guide was very helpful and nice. The walking is minimal but be prepared to climb river rocks.

Booked this tour while in port from our cruise with our kids and their spouses. We felt VERY safe with the brothers, Omar and Ray! They were so professional and patient as we went about our tour at the Blue Hole and Dunns River Falls enjoying our day. They allowed us to use their bus as our personal “locker room” meanwhile keeping things locked up and safe while we enjoyed the day. Both tours are very fun, challenging (in a good way) and very refreshing on a hot day!! We really enjoyed jumping off the high rock platforms and swinging from the ropes at the blue hole.. so much fun, REFRESHING WATER, great guides, get you where you need to be, and also take photos as you muster up the courage to jump!! (Pictures available to purchase after.. but we did not. They were a bit spendy, but good quality and captured a lot of the action, but we chose not to purchase ,as we had our own cameras) Dunns River Falls, also challenging in its own way as well.. climbing, currents, but so much fun! Again, guides do a great job of helping you climb, and also a photographer to capture all the fun on the way up. We have climbed Dunns River Falls several times, but had a couple of newbies with us this time, so wanted them to experience it as well, but do be aware, the guides can be a little aggressive in asking for tips at the top, which is my only complaint about the Falls….but it’s vacation.. money spent for the experience. After our tours, we asked Omar if he would take us to get some “jerk chicken” and it was no problem.. he willingly and patiently took us and waited, and we were so appreciative! AND got us back to the ship in plenty of time! His service made our day so enjoyable as we were able to just relax and they took care of the 6 of us! Omar Tours were absolutely fantastic. From the minute we were on the coach the good times started… the coach was clean and the air con was a blessing. They told us all about the areas we passed through and the culture. They were so lovely and happy throughout. We all felt really safe. Dunns River Fall and Blue Hole were amazing and so beautiful. This was our favourite day of the holiday by far!

This tour was fantastic. I looked at the cruise schedule and we planned to do this on a day that cruises did not use the port. I highly recommend that. We were the only people on the shuttle. We were also by ourselves at Blue Hole. Our guide, Sam, was amazing. It was pretty much a private tour. We got great pics without other people in them. Dunn's Falls is fun, but I thought Blue Hole, alone, was worth the tour. At Dunn's Falls we did a self guided tour. This was good because we could go at our own pace and didn't have to wait for big groups holding hands.
