What a surprise to hear a Texas drawl coming from a lady wearing a kilt! Ah, but she had direct family ties to Scotland and truly the knowledge of a local. Our walking guide was outstanding! She showed us interesting historical sites, beautiful scenery and she knew answers to all our questions! I'm embarrassed to have forgotten her name, but she an excellent guide and we had a fabulous walk! Meeting us at the dock was a bonus.

my friend and I had two days in Oban which we thoroughly enjoyed except for our Scottish weather that did dampen our spirits we had a tour of Dunollie castle grounds and house which was great the young man who took the tour was very informative and knowledgeable cant wait to go back
No particular favourite part as I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Beautiful place to visit. Lots of other beautiful little islands in close proximity to Oban. Had some very nice sea food. People were very helpful and friendly. I opted for a solo guided tour of Oban with Imagine Alba, my guide was Michelle. She was a really nice person and excellent guide. Had great knowledgeable of Oban and its history, she was a great story teller. I would highly recommend the guided tour, set me up nicely for the rest of my stay.
