Very nice tour, Eddy was very friendly and knowledgeable. We tried a lot of different foods that we wouldn’t try on our own. Only negative is that it felt a little bit rushed.
Josmar knows his sh!t on the beat locations! We sampled three tacos, one chili relleno, one Oaxacan empanada, one tlayuda, three tamales (with black, green and red moles), something sweet from a bakery, and ten kinds of sorbet. Josmar was able to switch plans on the spot when we couldn't find seating at one location. He also gave us Oaxacan history and architecture
It is a lot of walking and a lot of information but worth the trip. You get a lot of information of the customs and the traditions of food in Oaxaca.
Great food tour with Eddy who brought us to some amazing places to really try highlights of the vast diversity of Oaxaca food. He also pointed out places to go the next day that we didn’t have time (or appetite) to try that day. 10/10!! Thank you Eddy
Eddie was our bilingual tour guide and very knowledgeable of the local food. We made 7 stops along the way and ate plenty of food centered around the use of corn in local cooking.

I really enjoyed this experience. I loved how we ate in different local markets and spots outside the main touristic venues. We had a great time with Josmar who was very knowledgeable and also shared many interesting life storied and legends! I greatly recommend the tour! Come with an empty stomach as you will have the chance to taste a variety of delicious food!
Excellent knowledge of the food, culture, and the meaning behind food making and its history. Eddy loves his roots ands honors them through this experience. Oaxaca has very nice restaurants but after this tour I don’t feel the need to eat anywhere else’s but in the food stands ! And the ones he’ll show you are the real deal. Super recommended
Two words: JUST INCREDIBLE! Eddy is absolutely passionate about what he does, he is not only in love with- and very knowledgeable about- the food here, but also with the culture and the meaning that the food-making and food-sharing carry to this land, and their people. With Eddy I got the real deal: what locals make and what locals eat, which is exactly what I was looking for. Also he sorts the stops with a smart progression that won't make you feel too full. I highly recommend getting this kind of experience as soon as you arrive to Oaxaca, especially if you're not entirely, or at all, familiar with the food culture here. It'll change the way you walk through the markets, approach food stands, and give you a precious insight on the life of the people here. Highly recommended!

Great tour! Eddy was an amazing, funny and helpful guide. He asked before starting if you wanna try something specific or not. Just one thing: the ammount of the different dishes was sometimes to much (espacially if you're not used to some of the food). I would totally recommend doing it. You'll learn a lot!
We ended up on a private food tour and let me say this was the most amazing food experience ever! Not only were my food restrictions respected, our guide went completely out of his way and gave us a personalized tour based on what we enjoy eating and wanting to try. Every stop, we had options to select like the type of flavor and meat. Zero language barrier and even learned about the food culture. We started with one plan and we ended up with something way better! And yes we tried the grasshoppers and it tasted delicious. Went to multiple markets and even did a pit stop to pick up snacks. I honestly think this is the best deal I'm town. Not only were we fed for the price of a nice sit down meal, we ended up with a tour of the area and met great local food owners. We literally sat with the locals on shared benches and counters. Absolutely would do it again. We are beyond stuffed! Definitely go hungry.
We just wrapped up the most amazing afternoon with Eddie. He was incredibly knowledgeable, sweet, patient and thoughtful. The pride that he has for Oaxaca is contagious. I'm not gonna lie, I'm very picky about how I organize trips. I like my experiences designed in a very structured and orderly way, including food. While many businesses don't accomodate and give you a barebones experience, the company went out of the way to give me a experience tailored to my own needs. Both the restaurants and locations were hand picked to be exactly what I had asked for. The staff is attentive, and the dishes were scrumptious. Best mole in the whole wide world. Very reccomended.
As a foodie I was excited since I have heard so much about the cuisine in the area. Not only was the food incredible, but being able to visit little spots where locals go, was such a treasure. People were incredibly kind and helpful. Tour guides were through and the explanations to the food, stories connected to the area, and the folklore was very engaging. I definitely recommend this tour not only as a foodie, but also as one who likes to learn about people! You will not be disappointed!

The lost taco tour was a great experience and a really nice way to introduce us to the city and some of the food that makes Oaxacan cuisine unique. Our guide Josmar was really friendly and outgoing, had very good english and was very helpful with all our questions and even gave us tips on how to order food from the street vendors. A lot of fun

The tour is good, they take you to 7 little-known places, and the guide, as they see fit, can change some food, depending on how full we are or not. I took the 9 am one and my recommendation for those who take it is that maybe you should share because even being hungry it was a lot of food, but everything was very delicious and recommendable, the guide was very kind, the conversation and the tips were very good, maybe the only "bad" thing is that it is a lot of food and we ended up sharing and asking for takeout and if you are on vacation it could be an inconvenience because you do end up super full, but without a doubt it was an experience that I recommend and would do again since they have tours in the morning and night that are totally different.

It was delicious! A lot of different food, you can always ask for extra. Josmar spoke very good English and told us fun facts about the food and Oaxaca.
