Louis was an excellent guide. He was very easy to be with and encouraged us to try a lot of different foods. He also gave us great recommendations for other local restaurants and where to get our face painted strongly recommend him and the Tour. In fact we had such a good time I think we ran over by an hour.
Pablo was a wonderfully kind and knowledgeable guide who made our experience warm and memorable. Not only did we visit multiple markets and sample all kinds of delicious and authentic Oaxaca food, but he provided us with the historical and cultural context to make for us a particularly rich and meaningful day.
My partner, Jeff, and I were very impressed with the expert guidance our tour leader, Jalil, provided for us. We learned about the food traditions of Oaxaca and experienced many of the traditional local dishes; and we learned about how the city developed into its current arrangement. This tour was the highlight of our second visit to the City of Oaxaca. Thank you, Jalil!
We had such a great time with Pablo! He was a great guide & helped cater the tour to our 3 young kids. We are delicious food & learned a lot about Oaxacan culture. Highly recommend!
It was a great tour - everything was delicious, it was well paced and included some places we’d never have found on our own. Pablo was superb - a lovely soul and full of stories and insight too.
This was my favourite part of the trip. The food we got at Mercade de Merced was incredible and I appreciated the look into the lives of regular people. This tour is very well paced and covers all of the classic need-to-eat dishes in Oaxaca,
I loved this tour – Every single thing we ate was entirely new to me, and delicious, and we had so many different things + Pablo was such a great, friendly, knowledgeable guide. Our little group felt like friends on a fun outing together. I loved that we covered so many different places, had such a nice walk, and we even got to eat our own tortillas milled from scratch! How unique is that! Highly, highly recommend this tour and Pablo as your guide, if you're lucky!
What a wonderful food tour of Oaxaca! Our guide, Luis was very knowledgeable. We started with breakfast, a second breakfast, a chocolate tasting, a mole selection, and market visits all while walking through Oaxaca. A great experience!
