Perfect family room, good breakfast, one of the worst receptionist we ever encountered. The parking machine in the garage allows you to pay but doesn’t validate the ticket. At the reception, we had to explain 10x times that we paid but didn’t get the validation. The receptionist continued saying ‘it is not possible to pay there as machine is broken’ but the machine did take our money ! Not only she was not helpful but the attitude was not ok. Then another couple came with the same problem and we got our money back (20 euros). It is not that difficult to put a sign at the machine ‘DEFECT’ right ?

Staff is very rude! Told staff phone didn't work and we couldn't order room service, they didn't care enough to look at it. Website says they have parking but underground garage is very hard to get into. They have parking in back of hotel but they give you a hard time when you ask to use it. They told us to park in the street or parking garage 2 blocks away. We could not get the in room safe to work. Asked them for help. They said they would send someone up, but they never came. I'm a IHG member and didn't add it when I booked the room. Ask them to add it at check in and they said they couldn't. The only good thing was the breakfast. There was enough of a variety we didn't have to eat the same thing each time. I'll be back in nuremberg but WILL NOT STAY HERE!
Probably one of the best-run Holiday Inns in the world. Every single staff gave great service, from the Vietnamese apprentice bartender and the bar manager who comped me a couple more drinks, to the young male restaurant staff who kindly got me a coffee, to the housekeeping who cleaned the room. Location is in the old town, worlds better than the Holiday Inn in other German cities (I don’t even know why they bother with those properties!) They also gave advance notice of a room upgrade via email, which was the first time I received from an IHG property. The kitchenette and bath tub were great. For Platinum members, the drink vouchers are a godsend. They have Tucher wheat beer on tap. Don’t bother with the Augustiner.
Nice location (a couple streets away from the red light district but you'd never know) centrally located to many of the attractions, restaurants and shopping. Parking garage on premisses (€20.00/day) The reception area is large with very attentive helpful and friendly staff. The lobby area has a dedicated breakfast area and the is large size bar serving great American style cocktails (the variety I found to be the best in town). The room was clean, large, electrical outlets well plentiful and well placed. Good AC temperature control. The bathroom was well sized with a walk in shower that had good water pressure and hot water on demand. The queen bed (medium firmness) was comfortable Overall a fabulous experience and we'd definitely stay here again!
A great family friendly hotel! Traveling with a baby was made very easy there - we got a baby bed placed in the room before arrival and the room itself was facing the courtyard, avoiding the potential nighttime noise. Complimentary water and apfelschorle! Breakfast was amazing with many options for any taste. Would recommend to all the families to stay here!!
