Very well organized trip. Plenty of advisory communication. Very pleasant guide. Comfortable vehicle. The only thing that was a let down was the foggy weather which denied us the full appreciation of Peggy’s Cove and the surrounding areas .
The vehicle was too small for 6 or 7 adult passengers. It could handle 4 adults but they took 6. The third row was not suitable for adults. I am 6' tall and weigh less than 200 pounds. I could not get in to the third row without being uncomfortably pulled and pushed through the too narrow opening to access the third row. I tried to negotiate a refund but the tour provider would only give me 20% because we could not hear the guide/driver from the third row.
the driver was over a half hour late. other than being late it was just okay. the driver told us nothing about the area.

The driver didn't show up. She said there was construction traffic. After 1.5 hours after our pickup time, I requested a refund because we would not be back to the ship at the on-board time.
Essentially a long, shared cab ride from the port to Peggy's Cove. The driver did not provide much information, and could barely be heard .
Was everything it says it was. Express… on time, great driver with lots of info given… wonderful spot! Must see!

Perfect little trip to Peggys Cove if you are on a cruise ship. Picked up at port in van and returned on time. Spent 1 hr at the cove, took photos and enjoyed great scenery. Izzy was a great driver and told us very interesting tidbits on area. Very pleasant experience that we will remember for a long time.
We had some 'disconnects' on the pickup at the cruise port, but all worked out in the end without any delay to departure. Our driver/guide was efficient and engaging. We had spectacular weather to enjoy the fall colors on the way to Peggy's Cove and the return (one hour each way). The one hour at the destination was just the right amount of time. [Note: We paid $US52pp.. Our cruise ship was charging $US179pp for virtually the same experience. We were on a small van of seven plus the driver. The ship excursion was on a coach of 40+ with a driver. Enough said.]
I was the only person in my tour and was so happy they kept the reservation for me. Neil was a great guide. He explained the area and answered a lot of questions I had. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect trip for someone who doesn’t have a whole day and wants to see Peggy’s Cove. Our amazing tour guide Keira picked our small group right at our doors and was able to drop folks off at points of interest in downtown Halifax. Keira was knowledgeable and friendly. I learned many interesting facts about Halifax and Peggy’s Cove en route! Our time at the cove was perfect. Enough time to take some photos and visit the few little shops. Highly recommend! A great little outing for a very fair price! It was a bit chilly in October … glad I had a hat and scarf!
The day was windy, overcast and cold. It provided some great photo opportunities. Peggy‘s Cove did not disappoint. It’s a beautiful place. I have nothing to compare it to. Izzy is a terrific guide. Her enthusiasm is contagious. She is knowledgeable, personable, fun, and relatable. She set the tone for the tour and made it enjoyable. I recommend her and this Peggy’s Cove tour without hesitation.
Beware! Having booked and being in contact with SeeSight tours both before and after our allotted pick up time, we were continuously assured our guide was on his way to collect us. 45 minutes AFTER the pick up time, they sent a cowardly message via Viator to cancel the booking with no reason given. We spoke to another tour operator who told us that SeeSight regularly over book their tours and therefore don't always have capacity for everyone. We were only in Halifax for one day on a cruise, so missed our trip to Peggy's Cove - what was supposed to be a highlight. From reading other reviews, we are clearly not the only ones to have suffered the same cancellation treatment.
Great event and Sydney did an incredible job of communicating. We truly enjoyed the experience. It was a small group- there were six of us and we enjoyed meeting the other couples very much. Very easy to move around with a small group.
The tour was out to Peggy's Cove and back, with one stop for pictures at a lake in the area. We would have liked a bit more information about the area from our tour guide, but overall the tour was as advertised.
Friendly young tour guide with good general knowledge, but not real polished. Vehicle was good for 4 adults. With time and a little more experience Jamilla will be an excellent tour guide! She took the time to point out various historical facts about Halifax and Peggy’s Cove. She took the time to take care of our needs as we went along.
The trip there and back was more interesting than the lighthouse. They all become similar. Was difficult to hear the driver/guide, we were in the third row of a three row van.
This small group tour was perfect, from the advance confirmation of hotel pick-up, to Neil's driving and commentary, to the main attraction itself. The small group nature of the outing was conducive to discussion between the passengers - always lovely to have the chance to meet others from elsewhere. A must do!
We were the only Two in the tour BUT they still took us instead of canceling. I’m a photographer and didn’t want to miss Pages Cove. I came back with great shots - thank you Viator!
Excellent guide. Slightly expensive for basically driving out to peggys cove and back.
The tour took us to Peggy’s Cove where we had an hour to walk around the lighthouse and the village, then drove by the citadel on the way back to the pier. I was disappointed the guide was really only a driver and did not give us much information about the area. The drive back was very pretty

Driver was hard to understand and knew nothing about destination or Halifax. Simply a driver- added nothing to the tour. Couldn’t hear him when he did speak and couldn’t answer any questions
Peggy's cove is beautiful. Our guide was very nice but had only lived in Halifax for 3 days. Our driver had only lived in Halifax for 3 days so was not as knowledgeable about the area as we would have liked. We would have liked more information during the drive to learn about the area. Also, very disappointed that we didn't stop along the beautiful lake/ocean to take a few pictures. friends in other vehicles were able to do that.
Our guide Jordyn was good and friendly, just had a little issue when leave the cruise port, but it's not her problem. We managed board the car away from the port parking lot and continued our tour. The only issue is we are travelling with a group and I specifically requested to be put in the same car with our friends, I provided their name and booking number but still end up being put in a car with all strangers. Don't think they consider our request that much.
The guide, Max, knew a lot about the township, the area, the countryside and local activities. He was a very safe driver and I was very pleased by the whole experience
Our driver was horrible! She tailgated other vehicles and came close to rear ending a car! Constantly talked with inane dribble.
It is a nice drive out and the cove is quite surprising. We had Lobster roll at Tom’s. Maybe 1 1/2 hour would be better, hard to view the area, eat and shop in an hour
We had a professional tour guide who gave some information about the area we drove through on our way to Peggy's Cove. We had sufficient time at Peggy's Cove and then drove back. We had a wonderful time.
Our driver/tour guide, Max, was great. But we almost bailed on the tour because of the disorganization and lack of directions or guidance about where to meet. We ended being told we had to walk about a half mile to the back of the tour company’s office, where the reservations for us and several others got sorted out. But we were 30 minutes late by that point. It worked out because we had plenty of time to get back t the ship. But I wouldn’t book another tour with See Sight Tours based on this experience.
Very easy to meet IN THE PARKING LOT of Pier 22 Plaza. Guide had our names on a card. Easy ride, beautiful scenery. Has a great lobster roll at Tom’s Lobster Roll. Oh, and there was a lighthouse too!
Sunny was frantic and worried about 5:00 traffic to the point of seeming scattered. He drove erratic. The trip to Peggy’s cove was like a race to the finish line. Only talked about the area if a question was asked. The 7 of us in the van were happy to return to the ship. Very disappointed
Amazing experience, our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. He went above and beyond for us! It was a perfect trip length for our 6 year old as well.
We booked to begin the tour at 1:00. Just before 10:00 A.M. of the day of the tour, I received a text notifying me that my tour had been rescheduled at 2:00. I responded that the change would not work because we were traveling with friends and our schedules needed to be synchronized. There was no other communication. We arrived at the pickup point at 1:00. There were about 40 people waiting for their tour rides when the vans started arriving. In total, about six vans arrived which were inadequate to accommodate the number of people. Around 1:45, a person who claimed to be a supervisor for the tour company (not Viator) said no more vans would be coming and offered to pay for an Uber to take us to Peggy's Cove. He did mention that we would probably encounter difficulties in finding an Uber to return us to the dock. We were traveling with two other couples. One couple got a ride as planned, one couple had a ride for one person, and we had no ride. We opted to take a taxi which worked out for us. It appears that Viator didn't communicate the number of people signed up for the tour to the tour company or the tour company did not have the resources to accommodate the number of people. Our day was almost ruined because of the foul-up. Viator was quick to refund our money.

The site of Peggy‘s Cove was beautiful. However, the tour guide did not give specific instructions of where to meet her. She only said to meet outside the terminal. She didn’t say cross in front of the buses and meet in the parking lot.. And she She She arrived 10 minutes later than she told us to be there. Also, she did not speak loud enough. And did not have a mic. We asked her to speak louder, but still could not hear her.
Driver was spot on time and excellent communication and historical information! Clean vehicle and very informative information!
Esme, our driver/guide was fabulous! While driving smoothly to /from Peggy’s Cove, Esme gave us all kinds of interesting information about different aspects of the land and life of Halifax and Nova Scotia. The Cove itself was incredibly beautiful - and windy! We would definitely recommend this tour and Esme.
Tour operator (Sea Sight) did not honor the reservations made through Viator. There were 6 of us with “confirmed” tickets for 1:00. After a very disorganized and chaotic mess, my wife and I did get on one of the tour vehicles about 1:30, but our 4 friends ended up taking a taxi that was at their own expense. Sea Sight said they would pay for an Uber to get them there, but could not get them back. Overall a very unorganized mess.
Guide and driver Sydney was great. We were in a comfortable 8 passenger van and drive time was about an hour each way. We enjoyed an hour on our own at Peggy’s Cove to walk the rocks and take lots of lighthouse pics.
We had a wonderful time at Peggy‘s Cove. The drive there and back are very scenic. Once you are there, it is fun to hike out to the lighthouse and to walk on the rocks.
Do not book! It was over booked and they did not have enough vehicles for the people signed up. We were left behind. We had to hire a cab to take us to Peggy’s Cove. I expect to receive a full refund plus the taxi fare.
Tour driver from Seesight never showed up. After waiting over an hour, we cancelled our trip. Very disappointed! Viator did refund our money right away.
Oksana was a terrific tour guide. She is fairly new to the industry, but she provided a tremendous amount of background and knowledge of the history of Peggy's Cove and the areas around it. The tour is about 3 hours with an hour in each direction from the port in Halifax. Highly recommend this tour and guide.
Get you a tour guide like Oksana! She was really engaged in the tour and I learned so much from her and it was a tour of under 10 people and it was a fast and convenient transfer to Peggy’s Cove and that area is just STUNNING. Tour couldn’t have been better!
