it was very easy to follow. It. gave us the freedom to walk around at our own pace and stop when we wanted to. it was a great way to learn about the sea port.

Was a great way to see the boardwalk without being on a schedule or in a group. Interesting information and learned just enough to feel we had done a tour. Pointed out things we would not have noticed otherwise. Needs to be updated as a couple of things were no longer there or had changed slightly. Would definitely do the audio tour again in another area.
For some reason the volume was low and I checked my phone and was to the maximum. But was very informative
Was very easy to follow and could take my time to enjoy. The views are great and so much history. Take your time to enjoy!
April 16 2026 I enjoyed the tour, being able to do an audio tour at my own pace, stopping where I’d like to and get back on track is great. I also found it very easy to follow the instructions and the audio and gps follow along/ start audio at next stop was very useful - I didn’t have to pull my phone out of my pocket in the rain - audio just started when needed. Feedback…. I know I booked the tour in the shoulder season, I felt that it should have been noted that some items are not available outside of certain dates. I stopped at the hammocks on the dock where audio explained to take a rest, enjoy the sun, rest in a hammock …. The hammock are not there in April. Understandable, it was raining, windy, I used my imagination. George’s national historic site stop - it was great to learn of what is on the island and the boat you can take there … that isn’t there in April … Fountain at the bishops landing …. Not in operation in April CSS Acadia - under covers in the off season. The stocks … not there, the whole area is under construction - your map shows ‘salty’s which was demolished last year, I’m assuming the stocks have been removed so they can get construction vehicles to the old salty’s …. Which takes away from finishing up with Blackbeard commentary. As mentioned I enjoyed the tour however I think some updated research needs to be done. I do feel the tour is mainly focused on ‘in season’ tours’.
The Board Walk follows the water edge. Lots of boats, places to sit. Very busy area with lots of shops, restaurants, bars. I believe it is over 2 miles longs. If you are looking for quiet - this is not the place. Well worth visiting
Followed the instructions. Once I opened the app I got lost a little. Finally figured it out and ir worked well. Enjoyed the information.
My wife needed a nap, so I took the audio tour alone. Excellent way to spend a couple hours alone through an area that would otherwise go without explanation.
The app was so easy to use and the tour worked perfectly. It was great how as soon as you got close to the next landmark on the tour the app started automatically to describe what we were seeing,
This audio tour worked exactly as expected. It was very easy to follow the directions and the audio played when we approached each location even with our phones on airplane mode. There was one very large art piece along the way (Tidal Beacon, 2022) between stops 15 and 16 that I was surprised was not included in the tour. It was a very efficient and cost effective tour that started near the cruise port. Highly recommend!
The tour was great. Had a little problem figuring out where the map was but once we got all downloaded and finished the tutorial it ran well.
After having some initial trouble syncing up our location with the audio, the rest of the tour went well. Good info on all the locations so we learned a lot. Great being able to do the tour at pour own pace and only go inside museums if we wanted to.
The information was spot on, everything worked great until 2/3 of the way through when the GPS could not figure out where we were. Still well worth the cost.
I was not able to download the app .;-) I was suppose to use the audio yesterday September 11th 2023
Well worth it, so much information provided. The immigration museum was fantastic. You can do a family history from immigration to Canada and print the information. It's awesome
Loaded app and tour at home. Got to Halifax . Opened up the tour. It wanted me to use roaming on my phone in order to use audio tour which would cost a lot since I was international. Couldn’t use app/tour. Very disappointed. Please refund my payment to my credit card.😩🥺
Loved that the app was easy to install and operate. It came to life at each point just as described. Wish there were more similar for USA, UK, Sydney and other major tourist spots. Great it you like to walk and explore at your own pace
I downloaded the app and the tour on just my phone and it was handy as the 5 of us walked as it would make us stop and take note of different things. We didn’t actually do the entire tour I don’t think but made the walk along the boardwalk more interesting and informative.
There was no internet along the boardwalk so we could not use our smartphone. I would like a refund!
We purchased this tour. Never received activation code. No acknowledgement of payment but it was charged to my account. Don't waste your money.
Downloading the map was straight forward. The information provided in the audio was interesting. The downside for us is the audio 1. Would auto advance as we approached each site. 2. The app would freeze up and we had to keep closing the app, relaunch, and scroll through to find where we left off.
This is a really great quality tour, esp if you like travelling solo. I got a very complete lay of the Land with their boardwalk and city tours. It’s self guided yes, but really well done
Ease of using the App. Good description of sites. Flexibility of timings for using the tour. Very good.
Was a perfect opportunity to learn and see the boardwalk. We took 2 days to finish. I think it was a great way to spend our first day visiting Halifax. Would recommend for an informative and laid back walk along the boardwalk.
