It was an absolute delight to spend the night at Ye Olde Walkerville B&B. Rita is a wonderful host, our room is so comfortable and breakfast was very enjoyable with great company and conversation. We will definitely come again and recommend to everyone for this great B&B!
Whenever i am in Windsor i stay here. Nice old house, with a verandah perfect for watching the world go by. Renee is so friendly, and knows a lot about the local history. The B&B is within walking distance of old Walkerville, the home of Canadian Club and Walker distillery. Little shops and great restaurants.
Decent location, unfortunately the room had a smoky order and they didn’t have soap in the bathroom, mattress was pretty worn out and needs replacing. Service was so/so at best, we felt like we were imposing when we checked in and the inn-keeper assumed we wouldn’t want breakfast without even asking first.
We stayed for 3 nights in September as we were meeting some American friends that were coming to Canada to visit us and this was a great meeting spot. Absolutely lovely old B&B in a very safe and beautiful neighborhood that is very walkable. The beds were comfy, the rooms were clean, and the staff and other guests were just delightful. Breakfast was AMAZING and huge. Renee, the owner was so easy to work with, very accommodating and even made some fabulous restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. We highly recommend and would definitely go back.
I had a great stay. Room are comfy, water is hot, balcony around the house is nice to read and relax. I loved the Victorian style. Best part was the 3 course breakfast for a low low price. Thanks!
