The Pebble Bed & Breakfast

Wow what a gem. Liz and David who run the pebble are the most lovely,caring and accommodating people you will ever meet. They definitely go the extra mile to make sure you have a great stay. The breakfasts are so lovely and homemade . The house is beautiful and has a warm and calm atmosphere. The room we stayed in had all the home comforts you need . We a beautiful bathroom where you feel relaxed and chilled. There dog patches is the icing on the cake as he's so lovely and makes the stay more magic. I have to say me and Sophie we where very emotional leaving the pebble as we didn't wanna leave as it was the best stay we had . Wish we where still there. Thanks Liz and David your all ready family to us and so greatful we met you both and made the stay the best. Thanks

If Michelin rated bed and breakfasts, The Pebble Bed & Breakfast would undoubtedly earn the highest honor—three Michelin stars. Every aspect of our stay was exceptional. The home is absolutely stunning, with flawless décor and thoughtful attention to every detail. From the beautifully appointed rooms to the warm and inviting atmosphere, everything felt perfect. The breakfast was nothing short of outstanding—fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. It was one of the highlights of our stay. You can tell the owners have poured their hearts into creating an unforgettable experience. If you're visiting Halifax and want the very best bed and breakfast, look no further. I can't recommend The Pebble Bed & Breakfast highly enough.

Liz and David were the most wonderful hosts during the week we stayed at the Pebble. I instantly felt right at home, which is rare! I have never stayed in such a beautiful bed and breakfast before. The house is alive with character, and everything is so thoughtfully curated. The meals are absolutely delicious. These days, it's hard to find genuine connection. Everything is automated, people don't talk to each other as much, and technology has taken over. I didn't realize how much I needed a week to reset and reconnect. My favourite moments were coming into the kitchen after an early morning row at the Halifax Rowing Club and being greeted with a perfect cup of coffee and meaningful, heartfelt conversations with Liz by the Aga. Everything is so well thought out. The beds are divine, and my daughter is determined to find the bath products so we can have them at home! We had the best time. This is one Pebble I'll never forget.

One of the most enjoyable experiences I have had anywhere I have stayed. Liz was an exceptional host and breakfast by either her or David was on par or better than any restaurant. The Pebble will always be at the top of my list if I find myself in Halifax again.
