What a wonderful place to use as a home base while visiting Halifax! Brewery Park Hotel is in a great, quiet neighborhood that is an easy drive to the Citadel and Pier 21. It would definitely been walkable for us if the weather were nicer. The location also affords easy walkability to neighborhood coffee shops, great restaurants and breweries. The bed was super comfy and the loft-like space was very cool. We will stay there again on our next visit to Halifax!
We loved our 3 nights here. The room was clean, incredibly comfortable and quiet. (Except for our next door neighbors who were loud.) They made everything easy and communication was perfect. I would just add to the room a place to unpack! A chest of drawers or some shelving. If we come back to NS, we will stay again.
Honestly, I think they should consider themselves more of an Airbnb than a hotel. There’s no room service, no breakfast, and very limited hotel-style services, so I wouldn’t expect a traditional hotel experience here. That being said, we had a great stay. Everything was clean, organized, and well maintained. The bed was incredibly comfortable, I slept SO well! The AC was also working perfectly. The only small downside for us was the water pressure in the shower, but it really didn’t affect our overall experience. The location is definitely a highlight. It’s very central, and you can walk to so many places, which was super convenient. It’s definitely not the best value for money, considering the price and the services offered, but overall we had a good experience and really enjoyed our stay.
This is the spot to stay in Halifax- fantastic & quirky neighborhood (ie: where actual locals go not tourists) restaurant and cafes are within walking distance. We had to navigate a few flight of stairs but besides that it was the most comfortable stay in Nova Scotia on our 2 week trip. Slept like babies in the comfort beds that smelled like heaven. (Would love to know what laundry magic is happening here) My husband appreciated the code locks- easy and keyless.
Really awesome place. We arrived before official check in time and the staff member Billie (hope I'm spelling it right!) was able to get us checked in early so we could explore the city unburdened by luggage. Big thanks to her for giving us great advice about what to do in the neighbourhood and being overall amazing! Speaking of neighborhood, Agricola street was the best place we could have asked for. Tons of cool local shops around, restaurants, and well connected to other parts of the city either on foot or by public transport. We totally fell in love with the north end. The room was also exceeding expectations, clean comfy and had everything we needed/wanted. I only noticed one thing, that I think the shower floor is leveled the wrong way so that the water doesn't naturally drain quickly. It didn't have any impact on our stay though. Overall 10/10 and if/when we go back to Halifax we would definitely stay there again without any hesitations. :) Can't compliment the staff enough
