The Met Hotel Leeds - Newly Refurbished

Wow, the best hotel I have ever visited. The room layout is unique and creates a much more home-type feeling. The bathroom is also perfect as there is a good shower, unlike many other hotel rooms. Complimentary fridge items are a nice touch.

Checked in early, staff were more than helpful from front desk to the ladies at the bar. I wasn’t over impressed with the room size so made a remark to the receptionist, within a minute they upgraded both me and my work colleague into the same floor 2 rooms apart. In addition, they helped me with my parking going outside and checking the availability and keeping a space open for me. The hotel was spotless and the staff well on top with everyone’s requirements. Best in Leeds without a doubt and brilliantly located.

Is a fantastic hotel .the room was super spacious and the bed so comfortable. Best nights sleep ive had in ages.the location just a few minutes walk from the train station is perfect. Lovely breakfast. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Definitely will stay again next time i am in leeds

First impressions Hotel looks very nice. Interior is very nicely designed. Staff all friendly and talkative. Drinks reasonably priced for the quality of the hotel. Rooms nicely designed. Showers lovely and spacious. Nice size TV, plenty of lighting. Room quiet. Breakfast was good. Nice quality ingredients on buffet. Fried eggs made upon request and arrived fast. Orange juice was a lot nicer than most hotels. Didn't taste concentrated. Nice little amenities tray in the room. Fudge, Crisps and peanuts. Made a nice change from the usual biscuits. The food in the evening was quite nice. Portion size was good and quality was reflected in price. Room service however was not so good. Ordered Ciabatta and Olives, supposed to come with oil and balsamic for dipping and unfortunately it did not. Bang Bang Cauliflower wasn't as I was expecting. Cauliflower was quite mushy like it has been overcooked prior to being fried. No spice at all. The bed was comfortable however I did struggle to sleep. This is more likely my own personal issue as I do struggle away from my own bed. The room did seem quite warm even with the air con on all the time. Good location to the train station. I would probably stay again if I needed to.
