A lovely place to stay, we were given a room top floor, but lady on reception changed our room to room 2, we are pensioner's, lady was very sympathetic. The hotel doesn't do breakfast, but we had a lovely gesture each morning complimentary porridge, biscuits, sweets and waters. Free car park, free WiFi. Only issue is pub opening at 12 on the Saturday, we like it earlier.

Highly recommend. We stayed here Saturday 6th June whilst walking The Yorkshire Wolds Way. The room & ensuite was very spacious & clean, staff very helpful too. They do not do breakefast or evening meal, which they informed us when we booked originally. Market Weighton has lots of food facilities, so this was not an issue.
We loved staying at this historic hotel. We stayed in the family room which accommodated our group of six surprisingly comfortably. Everything was spotlessly clean and the water pressure in the shower was great! There are two bars downstairs - one is a beautiful old ale bar (though we didn't use it as there was a very serious darts match going on!) We didn't hear any noise from the bar when we were in our room - it was nice and quiet, although very hot in the heatwave. Would be great to have another fan. Bev, the lady who checked us in was lovely and there was secure indoor cycle storage for our 6 bikes, which was so appreciated! We would definitely stay here again ❤️
Called in for a quick cup of tea, at least that’s what I thought. 2 cups, jug of milk, bowl of sugar and a tea pot full of water and one teabag. left it to brew for three or four minutes, stirred it to death and it still just tasted of a hot water, and that was £6. Staff are friendly and welcoming but I still don’t think we’ll return.
I was travelling solo while doing the Yorkshire Wolds Way walk. The Londesborough is a real pub, with lots of regulars from what I could see. I was given a lovely welcome by the landlady. As it's a pub and was reasonably priced I was expecting a basic room. How wrong I was! The room I had was fantastic, it was huge, with a view over the beer garden, a lovely fireplace and really gorgeous old-style bathroom. The bath was perfect for resting my aching muscles after my hike. The bed was comfortable and I had a decent sleep. The pub doesn't serve food, including breakfast but they make up for it in providing instant porridge in the room and some snacks. I know some people want breakfast but it was perfect for me. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area. Thanks for making me feel safe and welcome.
