We had a lovely afternoon tea! The food was absolutely delicious, with plenty to enjoy. The scotch egg was a particular highlight, and the freshly baked warm scones were amazing! The service was excellent too. Jam, Max and Amy were all so friendly and attentive throughout and made sure we had everything we needed. A really enjoyable afternoon with delicious food and great service. We’ll definitely be back! 😊

We had our wedding at Wildes in July and it was perfect from start to finish. James was our wedding coordinator and on the run up to the wedding and on the day he was amazing and we cannot thank him enough. The staff were friendly and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble on the morning of the wedding. The rooms were lovely, spacious and included fans/air con units as it was really warm. Food was lovely. I would definitely recommend getting married at Wildes Inns and requesting James if you can!

We had our wedding in the Sherwood suite on the 17th April 2026. We had the best day we could have asked for. Liberty our wedding coordinator was amazing. During our meeting she put me at ease and on leaving I knew I didn’t have anything to worry or stress about. Her attention to detail is fantastic and she made our day perfect. All of our guests loved the big day and it was a lovely relaxed atmosphere throughout the day. There were a couple of minor things that we found out from guests after the wedding but it didn’t have an impact on the big day to make us notice. We have sent this back Wildes and they have taken the feedback on board for future weddings. Also all of the food we had was 10/10 from the restaurant the night before, throughout the wedding and breakfast. Overall, it was the perfect day for us and that is all that matters. A massive thank you to Liberty and all the staff were involved in our wedding.

Came here for a wedding reception. The hotel and grounds are nice, with some lovely outdoor areas if the weather is nice. Food at wedding reception was very good. And the rooms were fairly well priced. What left a total sour taste in my mouth is the prices. They are genuinely the most disgraceful prices I’ve seen for a very long time (and I live in Bristol). The pints are £8.30. My favourite though is £7 for a flat white - I nearly collapsed. I have never ever paid anywhere near that anywhere in the world. Final note - more staff needed on the bar. 2 people to serve a 100 person+ wedding is not enough and queues were huge. Not like they can’t afford more staff with the outrageous margin they charge. Also tried to charge my friend a £50 late check out fee which I also find to be criminal for 2 extra hours
