Hotel Indigo Leeds By Ihg

Generally very good hotel with lovely décor. Bar was good, and thought the breakfast pretty comprehensive as well. Had a strange issue where I discovered a milk sachet stuck to the ceiling of my room. It was clearly a used sachet, and was stuck to the ceiling with a plaster. I kept on wondering what it could mean, and couldn't stop looking at it. I went down to reception and told them about it and my room number. The guy was very nice and very apologetic, said it hadn't happened before. I said, no problem but could they look into it. Go back later that evening and it was still there! Staring at me, and me staring at it. Found it quite disconcerting for the rest of the stay. My only current theory is that someone discovered or suspected a hidden camera there possibly as it's next to a light fitting and hatch, and so used it as a way of blocking that.

This is a quality modern hotel on the south side of the railway station about 5-10 minutes walk with a suitcase. We started off in a small room which was really small, was noisy at night, and had stairs which were difficult to get a suitcase up. We upgraded to a bigger room without stairs. Breakfast was ok if not limited. The staff were very helpful with our arrangements.

My husband and myself were celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary at Hotel Indigo Leeds. Before we even arrived, not only were we upgraded by the lovely Agnes, but the mirror in our room had an anniversary message and we were given a complimentary drinks. Breakfast was exceptional and what has really stood out was the staff - all so pleasant, courteous, gracious and professional. Special mention to Maurizio who brought a beautiful bucket of ice for the champagne and looked after us at the bar. Beyond impressed and so grateful to be here. We will be back. The reception staff were excellent and helpful. The hotel itself is pristine in every aspect. The amenities are great quality. Two items of concern. One they do not have the countries number one news channel on their TV which is GBNews and secondly the dinner was not great and I should have removed service charge but didn’t see it till too late. Also service was extremely slow as no one asked me about my meal and I had to go and find someone to pay the bill.
