Dakota Leeds

I stayed here on my wedding night and day. I also had family members staying. The hotel were not great at providing loyalty booking initially and this was something I had to ask about. I did ask if we could be positioned close together but that did not happen. The staff were always great at replying to emails and enquiries quickly , which is great but there was alot of back and forth before my wedding trying to ensure my family had the breakfast in place etc On my wedding morning I was told it wasn't included and Thai was very embarrassing and stressful despite it being included in the booking. The service at breakfast was slow - making my daughter late for her bridesmaid hair styling which also added to stress. Air con broke getting ready - had to have maintenance out. Deflated balloons left in the room as the only gesture to a new bride and groom. highly disappointed for such a beautiful hotel.

I wouldn’t call this hotel a 5*, it’s 3 at best. It’s been decorated nicely and the staff and helpful enough, but there was no turndown service which you would typically expect in a 5* and breakfast is very basic, with the “cured meat and cheese” selection being a Tesco packet of salami and 2 chunks of very cheap Brie. The rooms are a good size but very dark with old blinds not really enabling much light in. It was nice but not worth the price.

Booked for my son's 21st birthday so we booked the Signature Suite at Leeds Dakota and it was amazing. The room was fantastic and very spacious. Having a lounge area as well as a dressing area and study area. The pics are exaclty as the room is no surprises. Staff very friendly upon arrival and left some lovely balloons and a lovely note which was super thoightful. We will definitely return.

Well what can I say we hosted our intimate wedding with Dakota! The service from kiya and her team outstanding. We had the most amazing time. The attention to detail and the welcome we had blew are minds. We are all ready looking forward to hosting are next event with you. Our gifts from yourselfs and the personal touch was much appreciated
