The staff and service was good. We were there for a birthday, food was pretty basic and more suited to a children's party. There was a Spar, but they wanted £10 per person for 1 1/2 hours, we tried it, it was very basic and we thought to expensive. Something like this should be free for paying guests. Breakfast was basic and items ran out and were not kept on top of. Disappointed,
Just got back from a night away at Barton Manor and have got to say that myself and my wife we’re pleasantly surprised. We booked the overnight spa Experiance with a three course meal, treatment and breakfast. We were upgraded to a room with a Juliette balcony overlooking the gardens. The spa was nice and the massage was very good. We decided to treat ourselves to a nice bottle of wine during dinner and the staff brought a decanter and handled the wine perfectly. Overall the stay was really good and got a good deal for a weekend break. Thank you to all the staff. Hope to see you all soon Dan & Alex Mitchell-Downs
My stay here was wonderful. The staff on reception were so friendly and kind. My room was excellent and felt very luxurious. The AC was a huge bonus when it was 30+ degrees outside. I used the pool which was also great, shame no jacuzzi. Ice machine was also used a lot by myself. Breakfast was also wonderful. Very quiet apart from the usual other guest rumblings but that’s fine All in all I can’t fault this hotel and I will absolutely be back!
Tanzi from reception was very helpful and managed to book a good package deal for a surprise night away for my wife and I's 1 year wedding anniversary. It was nice to drop into somewhere easily accessible on the way home from a busy weekend. The room in the new wing was brand new, spotless and the service throughout the stay was really friendly and genuinely felt welcoming. Value for money wise, booking a package was ideal as we got access to the leisure facilities (pool, sauna etc), a meal and prosecco. Despite a great room/stay and lovely staff, my only negative would be that the restaurant in the walled garden seemed a bit expensive for what it was. That said, the stay was overall great value for money, a genuinely pleasurable time away and I will definitely be coming back soon! Thanks
Only stayed overnight on the way home from Dundee. Excellent stay. Service very good, staff very pleasant and helpful. Beautiful hotel. Lovely gardens. Would have liked to walk around outside but the weather was against us. A little bit further to drive from M6 but there was road works on the main road making it seem like a longer journey. Will definately stay again and have recommended to friends and family
