Lucas the guide was exceptional. He had a great knowledge of the tour which he put over in a lovely manner considering he was talking about the Second World War. This was an amazing experience. Our tour guide was extremely kind and knowledgeable about Omaha and Normandy. He was very accommodating to a family member who had a problem walking due to a foot problem. I highly recommend. Very powerful information and experience

Bring your waterproofs and wrap up warm We went on the 14th. May. Many of the exhibit's are closed due to erosion. Guide very knowledgeable

Excellent tour for myself and my husband and my adult son.The gorgeous Amandine through Viator tours was absolutely fantastic. She spoke wonderful English and was very clear telling us all the important details and bringing everything to life . We were so impressed that we went ourselves to the British beach the next day to continue our experience and purely by chance met her and she continued to give us information even on her day off.! Totally recommend this tour especially if you get Amandine

This was a fantastic tour and our guide Miriam was wonderful. She allowed adequate time at each site to explore and explained the history of the area and what happened during D-Day really well. We didn’t have a lot of time to spend in the area, but thought this tour gave us quite a bit of perspective on the D-Day invasion. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Guide was knowledgeable and accommodating, despite brutal weather. Third leg was cut short (not guide's fault) due to the cemetery reverting back to winter hours.

Our guide Julie was excellent. She was friendly, funny, and exceptionally knowledgeable not only about the history of what happened in each site we visited, but also about the people who took part or were affected. Julie gave us plenty of time to explore the areas while also making sure we stayed on time.

We could not have been more lucky than to have Eric as our guide. He met us right on time and went out of his way to make sure we saw everything of interest to us - even beyond the highlights upon which this tour was to focus. His wealth of knowledge and well-prepared presentations brought the historic places we visited to life and made the very most of the short time we had to visit Normandy. As "highlights" tours go, this one was exceptional.

Ou guide was very knowledgeable and made very efficient use of the time allotted. He spoke English. I would definitely recommend and take this tour again. The area is large and the history vast, this tour allows for a good understanding while also covering a lot of areas geographically.

I learned a lot about the D-Day invasion. Our guide, Lauren, knew a great deal about WWII and talked with us constantly from the time we got in the vehicle until our tour was over. I would have appreciated hearing about how the people of the area dealt with occupation and what their response was when June 6th arrived. This would add some humanity to the presentation. She was well organized, and functioning on a timeline that didn't allow for conversation with her or between clients. Remember kindness counts!

A very enlightening tour. Igor is a wonderful guide who speaks very good English and has a passion for the history of the Normandy area which he imparts in a clear and concise way. He's ready to answer all questions and engage in interesting discussions. Highly recommended

Tour guide was very knowledgeable. Time constraints for those wanting greater depth but I’m sure those wanting more depth will sign up for same guide for full day.

Our guide was energetic and thorough. Answered every question we could think of and was flexible when lines were long for important views. Worth every penny to have someone explain the historical significance and some backstory.

Our guide Lauren was brilliant. She was lovely and very knowledgeable. She could answer any question we had. The transport was clean and comfortable. Well worth it.

We had such a memorable and meaningful time with our group and tour guide, Victor. I was able to bring my 17-month-old toddler along, and they provided a car seat, as well as a booster seat for my 7-year-old. Victor was very patient and understanding with the children. There is no end to Victor’s knowledge about WWII and DDay. He was filled with incredible facts and stories. The van was also comfortable and clean. I cannot recommend this tour enough!

Adrien was a wonderful host. Adrien grew up in Normandy. His great grandfather was taken prisoner during WW2 and brought to Spain. The events of June 1944 are near and dear to his heart and you can tell he really cares. He is witty and funny. To truly understand the stories and what happened you need to do a tour. We were running late from Paris and they couldn't have been nicer. We highly recommend Adrien and this tour.

I can HIGHLY recommend The Golden Beach Company. First of all, a few days in advance of our tour they send me a text message including a screenshot of their booking information to let me know that it looked as if I had made a double booking. Which I had, but due to their attentiveness I could in due time cancel one of the bookings. The actual tour was really good. We had a great day with Adrian who was very knowledgeable, super engaged, friendly and with a good sense of humor. We chose the 1/2 day tour which was adequate for our family as there is so much information and many impressions to digest. Unfortunately I forgot my purse in the glove compartment in the van. I texted the office and got a fast response although it was after working hours. Delphine promised to check the car first thing in the morning and text me when she found the purse. Which she did and I could go and pick it up. So, all in all a very attentive and reliable company with high level of service and super guides! 🤩

Our family from the states did the half day trip of Normandy! We felt that Adrian our guide and driver made us feel right at home from the start! He was pleasant and very insightful, well versed in everything about DDay. Truly made the day very enjoyable! Thank you Adrian for everything!!

Great way to see the best of the Dday invasion. Our driver picked up me and the family at the train station in Bayeux. We had booked a half day experience that included Omaha Beach and the American cemetery. We were there the day after the 80th anniversary and our driver Arthur knew all the secret places and very knowledgeable. The van was super comfortable with climate controls in the back. Would highly recommend.

I'm sure the trip was fabulous but I made a mistake with the dates., so missed out on the tour & no refund. The company were not sympathetic.

Igor was an incredible host for this tour. The hospitality was off the charts. Not only was he knowledgeable about the history of D-day but so much of the context of Normandy that preceded and followed the event. Would recommend this tour and company to anyone

We had a wonderful tour with Igor. His depth of knowledge was amazing and his ability to explain the sites clearly and with respect was fantastic. The tour was great for a summary of the main sites or if you are limited for time. Of course, you could always spend more time exploring the sites on your own, but a guide with insight who provides context allows you to get the most from your visit. We’d highly recommend Igor and his team.

Omaha Beach/D-Day. Our guide Arthur was an encyclopedia of knowledge, professional, personable, and a delight! He arrived on time and in a very comfortable air conditioned van. Even tho the tour was 4+ hours, it really wasn’t enough time for us. Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach, American Cemetery very moving, especially Taps and the Lowering of the flag was very emotional ❤️

Arthur was an excellent guide. He was a good and conscientious driver. His stories interesting and relevant. He captured our attention and gave us plenty of time at all a of the locations. He also gave us tips to ensure we did not miss some unique activities.

We so enjoyed our guided tour of DDay beaches with Arthur. He was super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and did a good job of explaining the battles. Despite some rain, he was willing to stand on the beach and continue with no loss of enthusiasm.. (He did offer us rain-free alternatives) He was in fact a licensed French tour guide, as well. My sister, who teaches history and knows a good bit about DDay, learned new things on this tour and had no complaints. Thanks for a wonderful tour!

Taking me to some of the memorable places with good explanations. Guide was knowledgeable and had information I didn’t know (and I’m a WW2 nerd). Gave a view of the war and loss of live that will stay with me the rest of my life.
