Audrey was fantastic!!! She had wonderful communication for pickup and drop-off with flexibility if we needed it. She absolutely knew the facts and history ,especially since she grew up in the area and had relatives that experienced the whole situation . She gave us a super recommendation for lunch during the tour. She knew how to balance the information with also independent exploration options of the sites . Highly recommend !

Audrey, our tour guide, is highly professional and informative. She is extremely cordial and made all the members of our family feel comfortable. We had an absolutely amazing tour. I took my 80 year old mother to see the D-Day beaches and retrace the footsteps of her father (my grandfather). Our guide, Dlylan, was beyond amazing — had so much knowledge and was so pleasant. Our driver Andrea was equally amazing. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a priceless D-Day trip.

Audrey was a charming, informative guide. She had great visuals/notebook explaining the D Day maneuvers. Her command of English was excellent. No issues with prompt pick up. Highly recommend. Plus the weather gods smiled and no rain!

We were picked up in our AirBNB in a beautiful van. VERY convenient for a ride out to the D-Day sites. The history and visuals were breathtaking. The American Cemetery was very emotionally moving. The Experience was particularly amazing because our guide was EXCEPTIONAL. Audrey was very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job explaining the region and its history, from the Vikings all the way up to present day, with a focus on WWII. She was also very accommodating with my wife’s elderly parents. She was very fun and funny and we now consider her like our new friend. ! A+++++.

Enjoyed an excellent tour with guide Norman of Omaha Beach, Utah Beach, St Mere English and other airborne landing areas. He customized the tour to my preferences on the fly and added lots of insight, personal WWII family history and even a few surprises for a WWII nerd like me. Highly recommend!

Our tour was an incredibly moving experience because of the passion and knowledge of our tour guide. Each stop was carefully planned, and we learned so much important history and poignant stories along the way. Our teenage boys stayed riveted throughout the day, and we found ourselves only wanting to learn and see more as it ended. This experience will stay with us forever.

Norman with Noresta Tours was an absolutely fantastic guide during our time in France! He was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and made the experience fun and memorable for the whole family. He was especially wonderful with our kids—patient, personable, and full of great humor that kept everyone entertained. Looking at cows will continue to make me hungry 😜 and my son will likely ask me to ask Norman to send the helicopter whenever he gets tired of walking! He was also extremely accommodating and helpful with our large, heavy luggage, going above and beyond to make things as easy and comfortable as possible for us. We were picked up from our hotel right on time by Dylan, our guide and Andrea, our driver. Dylan was a wealth of knowledge on the subject of WWII and specifically DDay. My husband is a history buff and Dylan was able to match his level of knowledge. We toured Point Du Hoc, Omaha Beach, Utah, Arromanches and were able to walk through some of the remaining German bunkers. It was absolutely fascinating. Of course, we were both incredibly moved by the tour of the American Cemetery. Dylan even had knowledge of individual soldiers. We really enjoyed our time with Dylan and Andrea and highly recommend this tour.

Met van and guide on the port. Both driver and guide were very professional and friendly. Audrey the guide explained all about D-Day as we walked through the sites, beaches and American Cemetery. Seeing history first hand helped to understand what happened over 70 years ago. The cemetery is now an UNESCO site! I would definitely recommend this exciting family and friends.

Norman was an incredible tour guide, he shared a wealth of knowledge and told many stories to help us truly understand and appreciate all the soldiers and civilians went through with D Day and the days after. Easy transportation and he really tailored the trip to the sites we wanted to spend the most time visiting. Also had a wonderful lunch recommendation part way through the trip. An amazing day spent touring some important D-Day sites in Normandy. Our guide Audrey was great. She picked us up in a comfortable van in the morning at our AirBNB and spent more than 8 hours with us, providing us with plenty of time at each of the locations we visited. She was kind and knowledgable, and the fact that she grew up nearby helped inform her perspective and provided an even stronger connection to the experience.

Our guide was very knowledgeable with facts and stories at the sites and during the drives. She had a book of photos and charts that added visuals to her words. With lunch this is a 7 hour excursion. Very manageable walking even for us old timers. Lots of driving because it covers Omaha to Utah and back from Bayeux. We were experiencing the extreme heat and dryness near Paris. So it was a surprise that the coast was 70 F, 25mph wind with small rain spells. Our guide handled it expertly by doing storytelling in the car for those of us who didn’t want to brave the elements. She led the way through gales and sand for those who wanted the experience.

Took a family trip and selected this tour since it was private. We had some delays in our travel and the tour company was able to make accommodations and we are very appreciative of that. We had an awesome guide (Norman) who had extensive knowledge of history and the region. He was easy to listen to and we could tell he really enjoyed his job. We can’t thank him enough for making this visit very enjoyable especially for my dad. Norman also lived close by and gave us many other recommendations. My dad left his phone in the tour van and Norman met us up afterwards and dropped off the phone at our rental. I highly recommend this tour, ask for Norman!

The one day 'D-Day Tours of Normandy' conducted by Malcolm Clough was very special. It was my husband's birthday present to me - a very special present as at 67 years old I was desperate to pay homage to my late father - Major William G Denney landing on Sword Beach on 6th June 1944. Malcolm made me feel as though he knew my father, knew what he did and where he went!! The whole day's tour was beautifully structured to really show me what my father did and what he went through. It was personal and sensitive. I cannot express how much I appreciated that one day tour. Malcolm made me feel that my father was there with me, in front of me. Malcolm was interested and interesting. I cannot recommend him highly enough! He provided me with the best birthday experience ever and have enriched my memories of my late father! THANK YOU MALCOLM.

Our tour guide, Peter, was fantastic. We traveled with my 11 yo grandson who is a WWII history buff. Peter focused his conversation to James and kept the adults engaged as well. He was super accommodating to my Veteran adult children, one of which is a parachuter. We saw the beaches and more. Highly recommend! The experience was so much more than I expected.

We actually did two tours with Noresta. We spent July 1 with Norman at the US d-day sites and July 2nd with Peter at Mont at Michel. The vehicle and the service was 1st class. Both tour guides were informative. Norman had a tough job covering Utah and Omaha beaches. Super well done and I think we just scratched the surface of the history, equipment, etc. he knows. Peter did a great job getting us ready for Mont St Michel. I would book Noresta again!

Prepare for an emotional and respectful all day tour with a knowledgeable guide. The tour was definitely worth the investment.

It still seems like a second full day tour of other sites wouldn’t complete the wealth of history this area provides.

Excellent tour of the American WW2 sites in Normandy. Our driver Sebastien and guide Audrey were very friendly and informative. Ty e teens with us learned a lot and the adults were very pleased.

It was very informative and perfect for first time in Normandy. Well organized and felt private even though everything was crowded. We had travel delays and they were great adjusting to it. They are very responsive! Audrey was amazing and loved our driver Sebastian. Please use them!!!!

We did the Omaha and Gold beach tour. Our experience was amazing. Learning about the D-day was informational. Our tour guide Norman was fantastic. He was knowledgeable and communicated well in English. We would highly recommend Noresta tours.

Excellent tour and just the right pace We have two teenagers so holding their attention is sometimes difficult but Peter did a great job of keeping things interesting. He suggested going to the American Cemetery first thing in the morning which was so nice as it was very serene. Also, Peter had zero accent which made it nice for the boys to fully understand.

The best tour I’ve ever been in. The transportation was impecable as was our drive Sebastien, our tour guide Peter was super knowledgeable and so so so nice. We learned about things we would’ve never if it hadn’t been for them. Would rebook 100 more times if I could.

Peter was an amazing guide. He is full of knowledge and lesser known facts. The pace of the tour was perfect, not too fast, not too slow. Peter times everything perfectly. Having a private driver and private tour made it so much better, I highly recommend this tour with Peter (and Sebastien as driver).

So glad we did this! Peter, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable and patient. He truly knows the hidden stories — like the actual landing craft he showed us. These were made from PLYWOOD, people!! We knew the basic outline of D-Day but he filled in with some GREAT stories about the men who fought there. This is the stuff that we will always remember. Topped it all off with Taps at the American Cemetery, which brought tears to our eyes! Thank you Peter! It’s a day we will always remember.
