My Scottish 88 year old grandmother has always wanted to visit Normandy to see the British War memorials and D-Day Landing beaches. We decided to stay in the middle of Bayeux which was a perfect pickup stop to meet Norman our tour guide. My granny knew exactly what she wanted to see so I was able to share this with the company beforehand and Norman could show her the route planned for the day which turned out to be the perfect private tour! Norman was brilliant from start to finish, great driver, bursting with knowledge and great company for the 8.5hours we were out. Not only did he take us to places my Granny wanted to see, he also surprised us with a visit to a lovely gentlemen with a very impressive private collection of World War artefacts, this was the icing on the cake! As it was a long day he made sure we had extra water and gave us over an hour to have a proper lunch and recommended a lovely seafront restaurant! We were able to experience beautiful Normandy countryside, Pegasus Bridge, Sword beach, Ranville War Cemetery, drove to Juno Beach and had lunch, visited the British Normandy Memorial at Gold Beach and saw the infamous remains of The British Mulberry Harbour in Arromanches-les-Bains. We finished off with the private collection tour and also explored German Bunker remains in Longues-Sur-Mer before dropping us back where we started in Bayeux. Thank you Norman, for everything! We had a brilliant day that we won’t forget! Booking a private tour with Norman @ Noresta is 1000% worth every penny, it was seamless, so informative and offers a much more relaxed way of visiting these important and beautiful sites from our British history! merci beaucoup!

I had a day tour with Norman to Sword, Juno & Gold beaches with a stop at the Pegasus Bridge. Norman is a very nice bloke and is very knowledgeable, he had books with maps and photos. Looking at the old photos from the spot I was visiting really enhanced the experience. Highly recommend.
Louis our guide with Overlord Tours lead an excellent tour today. We visited the British and Canadian beaches and saw all major sites around Juno, Gold and Sword beaches. He was very knowledgeable —— Excellent presentation, answered questions and provided a lot of time to interact with other tour members. Very small group so a LOT of personal attention. Highly recommend this tour. We had done the Omaha Utah beach tour the day before with the same company and again had excellent tour. A plus
Norman was our tour guide and he was fantastic. Enthusiastic, funny, always smiling with great knowledge. Probably the best tour we have ever done.
Absolutely Professional company and service from start to finish. Sebastian our driver was excellent. We were prompt on timings but never rushed to explore a site. The transport van was clean and the service was great. Our guide Oliver was very knowledgeable and personable. He was very respectful to the memories of these sites. You are in great hands with this crew!
We had a great time with Norman. He was very friendly, socialable, and regarding history he was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Also, the car was a smooth ride. Thanks, Normaj.
The tour of this sector was really helpful to me in understanding the different terrain faced by allied forces across the beaches. Marilyn shared her extensive knowledge of the area and the D-day landings and Leonie was a wonderful driver. The at times torrential rain gave an inkling to what this experience must have been like for the soldiers on landing.
Today six of us went on an amazing tour to Normandy. Our diver, Peter, was excellent! He was most kind and very considerate. He even brought water bottles in a cooler for us. When one of our group needed a charger for her cell phone, Peter even helped out with that! Most importantly, we all felt very safe with his driving. The day before we had had a very bad experience with a terrible driver that was even texting while driving. It was a hair raising experience! What a huge difference Peter made for us today!! Our group is most appreciative! We definitely recommend him without reservation.
Wonderful informative tour, Norman was very knowledgeable, we saw and learnt so much. Brilliant day. The whole family enjoyed learning everything about D day and all the history surrounding it.
A Rainy day to do the British and Canadian beaches tour in Normandy. Norman was a great guide, kept things interesting and a wealth of knowledge. With the rain he was able to get us tickets to the Canadian museum to make up for the bad weather. A great tour leaving much wiser to the events of June 6, 1944! :)
Excellent guide for the tour, even though it rained the entire day we had an amazing tour. Norman is very knowledgeable about the whole area.
We had a 71/2 hour tour visiting Juno Beach, the Canadian War Memorial, the Canadian war cemetery as well as the Abbey of Ardenne. Our Driver and guide with Noresta tours was Norman. Norman arrived early at the Cruise Port Terminal and was ready to greet us as soon as we disembarked. There were eight of us on this tour and we had a very comfortable air conditioned passenger van that was very accommodating for our group. Norman is exceptionally knowledgeable about the tours he takes guests on and knows the history very well. On the way into Juno Beach and the memorials Norman provided details along the way with points of interest. Normal also took the time to get to know the group and through discussion on the way was able to determine the groups personal desires on this tour and worked to accommodate all stops within the time frame of the tour, this personal touch was greatly appreciated. When we arrived before visiting each site Norman provided us a bit of history on what we were about to see and he comes with maps and information that makes the visit that much more memorable. There are many emotional stops on this tour for Canadians and Norman respects this in his guests, we visited the Abby where Canadian Solders were executed and he prepared us for what we were about to hear at this stop. Norman’s English is exceptional and there is absolutely nothing that gets lost in understanding everything on the tour. I would highly recommend this tour company and if you can get Norman as your guide this would be an added bonus. Thank you again Andrea of Noresta for arranging the details of this tour for us and Norman for giving us such a remarkable experience. Ian
Our driver Patrick was extremely polite, kind, helpful and good driving Absolutely recommended!!!
Many thanks to Noresta for their professionalism. The exceptional Sebastien driver: punctual, welcoming, with a smooth and respectful driving. Care at the top, rigorous and serious at the appointment. I highly recommend their services!
We had a very friendly guide but also passionate and exciting Norman Flambard, listening to our interests. He made us discover all the richness of these places in their not only historical but also human dimension, sharing many enlightening and often moving details and anecdotes. It was also very good advice for our stay in this very beautiful area that we did not know. We recommend it very warmly.
The sights were superb to see. Good explanation of the guide. We had a great day. And we made some great pictures.
