The hotel is amazing. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It is located up on the hill, seeing the sea and int the middle of the Golf area. The breakfast is nice, the pool is pleasant, the spa is very good. If you want to practice Golf, Florian is an amazing instructor and speaks good level of English. Highly recommended!
Quiet, welcoming. Our room was a suite with a loft space and although the AC had trouble keeping up with the heat wave the pool was lovely and we enjoyed both a dinner and the breakfast buffet. The bar was relaxing and I loved the filtered water station in the lobby - glass bottles and your choice of still or sparkling water. The location was perfect for our visits to the DDay Beaches.
This hotel was great. The desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable. I loved having a balcony. The hotel is in walking distance to Port de Bessin where there are a lot of restaurants. The food at the hotel restaurant was really good.
From our booking experience with Penelope to being greeted by Penelope and all the staff, our stay has been nothing short of amazing. Our rooms looked over the pool. They were clean with comfortable beds. The reception desk also helped us with a running route and restaurant recommendations. Our breakfast there was outstanding with fresh pancakes and incredible butter from the region to put on the amazing selection of breads. Will definitely recommend to my friends and family.
This place is in a Great area and has the potential to be such a gem. But the bedroom was horrible. I was here on a D-Day tour with Viking cruises and we did an overnight here. The room was horrible , my wife and I stayed in a room, that the staff places 2 twin beds together. The beds sagged in the middle and are old and the cleaning staff does not do a great job with house cleaning. The bathroom situation is something to be desired. It smelled like a roadside gas station men’s bathroom that had not been cleaned in weeks. I also hear that Band of Brothers tour comes here also. Not a great experience. The pros are, location and decent food in the restaurant.
