We loved our stay! Beautiful little hotel over looking an apple orchard with a clear view to the sea and the remains of Mulberry Harbor. We loved watching the sheep and the horse in the orchard from our window. The staff was perfectly lovely, all of them. Sweet, polite, and always offering to help in unexpected ways.
Great hotel and welcoming staff. Easy to find and well-located for the area. We stayed 3-nights and opted for breakfast each day (continental type - some cooked bacon and scrambled eggs too). Couldn’t fault our stay. Rooms could get warm I expect as lack of air conditioning but otherwise very pleasant Would I stay again? Yes.
This is an amazing hotel with great staff and location. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the quiet. We travelled with two people and a dog, and we especially value how our dog was treated here. The staff was accommodating and kind to her, without silly rules against dogs that you might find in other hotels. Beds are super comfortable and a good size. Rooms are clean and quiet, we stayed on the ground floor in room 12 and had our own entrance. The bathroom and the shower are also super modern and clean. There is a common area near the reception where we played a board game and chatted with other guests. The staff was exceptionally friendly, accommodating and professional. The pool is a great bonus, especially if you don't like a colder sea. Breakfast offers a good selection of cheeses, meats, cereal, pastries, and drinks. It is suitable for vegetarians as well. I'm not sure about any other dietary requirements. I would recommend this hotel especially to couples or dog-owners. I believe that the ground-floor rooms are also suitable for wheelchair users. Only positive things to say about Les Villas d’Arromanches! Everything was wonderful - location, accommodations, ambiance - all wonderful. Enjoyed several evenings on the patio meeting and talking with other guests. “Marie” was on duty throughout our stay and what a wonderful difference she made! Always responsive and providing service with such a wonderful disposition! (And a great recommendation to try a local “Calvados” for a night-cap!) If we are fortunate enough to make another trip to Normandy we will definitely spend more time here. Absolutely loved it. Thank you Marie & Villas d’Arromanches!
We basked in the sunshine in this courtyard while sipping a perfectly chilled Rose! The staff is super accommodating. Our room was spacious and comfortable with beautiful views of the village and the sea. We were a quick walk to the downtown. It felt as if we were walking home after dinner. While we had warmer weather, it was a bit cool for me to partake in the pool but there were folks (probably Canadians lol) who did. We would stay here again if our plans brought us back to Normandie. Until then, we will cherish our memories. Merci!
