La Maison De Lucine

We had a wonderful stay at Maison de Luciné and can highly recommend it. The house is beautiful, very clean, and the rooms are modern, stylish, and thoughtfully arranged. Breakfast was excellent — everything was fresh, with a great variety of options. Thibault and Luciné, the owners, are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive hosts, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Excellent accommodation in a lovely setting surrounded by an enormous garden with many lovely trees, flowers and greenery. Can’t recommend highly enough ! The place was spotlessly clean, bedrooms were big and well furnished, comfortable big bed with ensuite bathroom which was clean, modern and had an excellent shower. The hosts were delightful and friendly. Offered us suggestions on places to visit which we found were excellent recommendations. Breakfast was a hearty continental breakfast, good value and included homemade delicious apple juice and jams. The coffee was very much to my taste and the best I had in France! Highly recommend this place and we would definitely stay again as it’s also a good spot to be based for seeing many of the main sights in this part of France. Thank you!

Lucine was a lovely host! We had a large room and beautiful bathroom in walking distance to Combourg (10-15 min). Breakfast is highly recommended with many homemade items with fruits grown in her garden (juice and jams). We arrived by bicycle, and there is safe area to store in the courtyard.

A good walk from town but tranquil and beautifully presented rooms.
