Hyatt Place Rouen

The building is amazing and very well renovated. Rooms are well equipped, with a mix of modern and old style and very comfortable beds. Receptionist spoke well English and was very kind. The gym has the minimum needed brand new equipment. Opportunities: We booked a room with city view and we only got a room with a building view (see photo attached). The access to spa could be free as long as the parking for the price of the room.

I had the pleasure of staying at Hyatt Place Rouen for nearly a month, and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I travel frequently for both work and leisure and stay in hotels around the world, so I've experienced every level of hospitality. Without question, Hyatt Place Rouen stands out as one of the hotels with the very best service I have ever experienced. The hotel itself is modern, comfortable, and well-maintained. My room was spacious, comfortable, well-designed, and very quiet. Since I was working remotely during my stay, having such a peaceful environment was very important to me. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its people. Every interaction I had with the team was warm, genuine, and professional. They consistently went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, and after only a few days they remembered me and always greeted me with a smile. Their kindness and genuine hospitality transformed what could have been just another hotel stay into an experience that truly felt like a home away from home. The restaurant was another highlight. The breakfast offered an excellent selection each morning, and I also enjoyed several dinners there during my stay. The quality of the food and the consistently attentive service made dining at the hotel a pleasure. As well, I had the opportunity to use the spa, which was a wonderful place to relax. The location is another major advantage. It's within easy walking distance of Rouen's historic center while remaining in a peaceful setting, making it easy to explore the city and then return to a relaxing hotel. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making my stay so memorable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hyatt Place Rouen to anyone visiting Normandy, and I already look forward to my next stay.

A very new hotel just outside of Rouen town centre....which is the only disadvantage, you really need a taxi (X2) to spend an evening in town. It has an underground car park and a bike store on site! The staff are top class...friendly, prompt and good English (which is definitely not the rule in Normandy hotels, just saying). The bedrooms are large and comfy (though my preference would be for down rather than "poly" filled duvets). That have a health spa. The breakfast is impressive.. something for everyone and plentiful. It's a large hotel and the walk to my room felt excessively long, which would be relevant for older guests, though presumably they could book a room on the reception floor. I'd also mention that the hotel has a well designed front garden, and views across town. On arrival the whole vista is impressive, though being up a steep hill it's a challenge for cyclists after a hard day's ride!

Worst Hyatt I have ever been to. My boyfriend is a Globalist and they don’t even know what that means there. The spa is NOT INCLUDED, very misleading. We had a Getaway Treatment with our reservation (and we stayed about twenty days with this Hyatt) they ended up charging us for the treatment and stated if we do not have proof, which we sent them the screenshots, they will not refund. The receptionist booked our massage stating it was included and the meal we had that evening, I even paid personally for the water which I knew wasn’t included. They are very disrespectful and I would honestly stay at any other hotel then this one when I am back.
