Amazing place, feels like a fairy tale. Very nice chateau clean, with beautiful surroundings. Children friendly, with a kind owner Andy who is available to help and and assist anything you need. Amal and another guy I don’t remember his name are always polite and nice, taking care of the place and the delicious breakfast with local products. ( fresh bread and croissants, homemade jam, tasty eggs)
A stunning chateau, large, period correct rooms and a very comfortable night's sleep. The staff were very accommodating with a late check in from the late ferry into Caen, and sent clear instructions for letting myself in. Highly recommended!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this château. Everything was simply perfect. The room was spotless and beautifully designed, with so many thoughtful details. We especially loved the little touches like the neatly arranged towels and the stunning interior décor, which created such a cozy and elegant atmosphere. Housekeeping was done daily, and everything was always impeccably clean. Every morning, we were kindly asked what time we would prefer breakfast, which made the experience feel very personal and attentive. Breakfast itself was fantastic: fresh warm bread and pastries every day, and we were always offered a choice of eggs prepared to our liking. The property is truly impressive, with a large, beautifully maintained garden. There are plenty of lovely spots to walk around, including ponds and even a small river, which makes the whole place feel peaceful and magical. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and you can really feel how much care goes into making guests feel comfortable. Everything is very client-oriented and thoughtfully organized. We highly recommend this place. It was an unforgettable experience!
We had a wonderful stay at Chateau du Bu. The place has a really nice feel to it, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the lounge area and dining rooms are spacious yet cosy. Breakfast was a real treat with beautiful pastries, fresh bread and freshly cooked eggs. Highly recommend.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the château! On the day of our visit, we were the only guests and were kindly upgraded to a better room, which made our experience even more special. The room had a beautiful view of the pond, was equipped with everything we needed, and offered a cozy bed, a lovely bathroom, bathrobes, tableware and tranquil surrounding. Breakfast was delicious and served at the time that suited us best. The grounds are magnificent and the château itself is stunning—from the gates, through the woods, all the way to the elegant interiors. Andy was always available for any questions, making everything smooth and easy. It was a magical experience that we will remember for a lifetime. Highly recommended!
