Truly loved this authentic château vibe. The staff put a lot of care into preserving its original character and sharing its history. Breakfast felt so warm and personal—like being looked after by a grandpa. It’s a perfect place to unwind and enjoy a peaceful, almost hidden-away atmosphere Only stayed for one night before heading back on road trip, but wish I could stay for longer.

A magnificent and authentically beautiful place with gorgeous gardens and views, welcoming hosts and their immensely cute dogs and pups. We’ve enjoyed the filling breakfasts and the chateau’s extensive exterior grounds. The garden landscaping is beyond what one can imagine, the interiors are beautiful as well as historical and our room was also cosy and charming. A strong recommendation, it’s worth visiting even in the low season.
Lovely private chateau hotel. Quality, original rooms. Lovely breakfast. Obviously gardens are amazing and staff very good and informative. It's not a chain hotel, but very original, good rates and with a great team.
If you ever want to feel like royalty, this château is the place to stay. The hosts are wonderfully kind, the room is gorgeous, breakfast is excellent, and the pool is truly beautiful. On top of that, there’s a lovely garden perfect for strolling, complete with a charming little labyrinth.
My husband and I stayed here overnight as we explored the Normandy area. The rooms and chateau are gorgeous! The pictures you find online do not encapsulate the grandeur and history of the location! The bed in the Diana room is amazing. The food prepared just for us in the morning was probably the best in France and we were there for a week. Try the home made yogurt and fresh fruit salad. Amazing! We also met the owner who is gracious and spoke perfect English to accommodate our passable French. She is just as lovely as the grounds!! I do need to mention the cattle that are located just off the property. I am not sure if it is a slaughter house? Or. Working farm? But the manure smell made walking the grounds almost unbearable. It could have been the time of year (End of October) or a new addition to the area. Just feel like the reviews I read never mentioned it. Also, the list of restaurants near by are out dated (some are closed) and we happened upon Phil …a Table restaurant by Chef Phil that had the best food. Amazing place. If you arrive late you will either be driving 15 min out to randomly find food, or going to bed hungry. The owner did offer the kitchen to us, but since it wasn’t included in the price we didn’t want to impose. She really is a lovely woman. Don’t hesitate to stay! Just be aware of some of the areas shortcomings.
